His work is always competed thoroughly and neatly, and he and his staff are extremely pleasant and polite. I will continue to use him for a range of home improvement/repair needs.
Description of Work: Dave has done a number of jobs for me over the past several years (from a few hundred, to $13,000 for a major project), from basic household repairs, playset refinishing, replacing fence rails, etc., to recently arranging for extensive landscaping that beautifully complements a home addition.

 + -1 moreExceptional job! Dave Beck, the proprietor, responded promptly with a quote and did the work within the time frame he quoted. They did a great job, were on time, we hardly noticed them, and they cleaned up as if they weren't there. I won't hesitate to use them again! In fact, they are coming back later in the summer to paint our whole house exterior.
Description of Work: Prepped and re-painted exterior deck railings. Scraped loose paint, lightly sanded to feather edges, and applied two coats of self-priming acrylic coating.

 + -1 moreThey seemed to do a good job. I was a little annoyed they charged their $89 visit fee for showing up and telling us Cinergy had to cover up some wires near the site. Didn't mind making the site safer for them, but I was surprised to get charged. They left a little debris around too. But overall, they seemed punctual, helpful and competent.
Description of Work: Fixed box gutter where squirrel had been getting in.

He apologized for the long delay and inquired if I was still interested in an estimate. I had him give me quotes on other work that I have not yet had done, as well as the work done above. He was very prompt on appointments and did the work specified at the estimate price.
Description of Work: Repaired two lazy susans in kitchen; replaced tub faucet; replaced kitchen faucet assembly; fixed leaking bathroom faucet; replaced rusting drain in sink.

His partner, Joe, who actually performed the work was equally congenial. Joe crawled through blown Fiberglas insulation in cramped quarters to complete the project. He handled this hot, dirty work with a positive attitude and efficiency. It was well worth the money.
Description of Work: Extended two bath exhaust fan ducts to soffit vents.

DAVE LEFT AFTER RETURNING WITH THE PAINT AND THE ASSOCIATE FINISHED THE JOB. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND THE JOB WAS DONE PERFECTLY. I HAVE NO COMPARISON FOR PRICE. THE CHARGE WAS $85 FOR FIRST HR, AND $65 HR AFTER THAT, PLUS PAINT AND OTHER MATERIAL COST.
Description of Work: HANDWASHED SOFFIT USING SIMPLE GREEN AND AMMONIA WHERE NECESSARY FOR STAINS. BOTH FRONT AND BACK OF HOUSE. HANDWASHED GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS. PAINTED GUTTERS, DOWNSPOUTS AND TRIM AROUND FRONT DOOR TO MATCH VINYL SIDING THAT WILL BE INSTALLED SHORTLY.
