Jane the owner wrote a contract up on 12/4/13 to reupholster my living room couch, chair and ottoman. I picked out the fabric and gave her a $400.00 deposit and they were to pick up and start the first week in January as I wanted it done by Super Bowl (first Sunday in February). I didn't hear from her so I called on 1/4/14 and she said that she had forgot about it and got a big contract from KI so she couldn't do it until after Super Bowl. That was fine because I wanted to do some painting and wallpapering to match the new fabric. Well February came and I had not heard from her again so when I called she said she was still working on the "big contract" and to give her until March. Same thing...March came and she needed till April. April came and she needed till May. I called her again in May and she said they were coming to pickup the furniture. They came on May 12 to pickup the furniture and the people she sent could not carry the furniture out to their van so my husband did it. She said it would take one week. Well did not hear anything from them so I called her on 5/23 to see how it was coming along and she said "we haven't even started on them" because she got another "contract with her regular clients"! She said "we'll start on the Monday and I said "don't do anything I will be in tomorrow to get my furniture"! I got to their shop on Saturday and she was not there, but I told her employee Dan that I wanted my deposit and my furniture back. The furniture was still sitting in their van in the parking lot!!!!!!!!! We loaded it into our truck and she showed up with the money and said "I could say I'm sorry, but I'm not going too"!! She also stated that she has been in business 26 years and is in good standing with her clients!!
