The estimator came out and measured and showed me what I would be getting, we set up a time for them to put the windows in and they took a deposit. They installed the windows, and one window was over the stationary tubs in the basement. Apparently a lot of debris got into the sinks and caused both tubs to fill up and overflow when the laundry was done the next time. I called Bill to have them correct the sink as their debris clogged it up. He said he sent someone out. The sink is still clogged and the issue has not been resolved. I plan to call a plumber now to correct the issue as I cannot wait and the home is on the market. They were on time and did what they said, the windows look great.

After visiting their booth at the Home and Garden Show, I was contacted by Bill Schild who stopped by my home after 6 p.m. to take measurements and provide the estimate. The windows were installed one week later. The installer did an excellent job in removing the old windows and frames, installing the new windows and cleaning up the mess.

The man who came to do the work did a fine job. He showed up on time and got right to work. He cleaned up everything afterward and he even reattached my dryer to the new vent. That really surprised me as I felt that was beyond the scope of his work. Oh and one more thing. I've not done glass block before. I had this idea that they actually build the window block by block on site, like a brick layer. But these windows came already built. And then the contractor mortared the entire window in place. I'm sure all of the glass block companies do it this way. It was just new to me :-)

What a transformation! John, the installer replaced the six original basement windows (single pane) with five glass block and one 'escape" windows. I upgraded three of the windows to include vents and I got one window with a dryer vent. John did an excellent job, making sure that I was happy with the placement of each window. He took his time and made sure that the area was clean before he left. The windows look great and I feel much better knowing that my basement is now secure from a potential break-in.

It went very well. We called and asked for an estimated time that they would be at our house to start, and they gave us a two hour window. The installer showed up almost at the start of the window. He introduced himself and made sure we knew he was coming to do the work. He was very careful to make sure all the measurements were correct before he started any of the work. He was very careful of our carpets and flooring, and asked permission before he entered the house. He went about his job very efficiently. The windows were definitely in need of replacement. We are very happy with the results.

It was a flawless and easy experience. The installer provided a great overview of the steps and cleaned up afterward. I would certainly recommend.

The process went smoothly from initial contact through the sales contact and the contract return, work scheduling and work execution. Everybody involved was friendly, professional, fair and competent. The windows look good. The block was of a design from the 50's and their orientation in the panel arrangement was different from the current fashion, but the company did not miss a beat.

Jeff came out and did a good job on the initial quote and gave a competitive rate. I scheduled the work and it was performed on time. Tom was the installer and he was very good. His workmanship and finished product was A+.

I hired Cincinnati Glass Block sort of by default - the other company I called never showed up for their scheduled appointment. Their salesman was friendly and helpful, and they came to do the work about three weeks after I called. The worker was actually an hour early (good thing I was home...) and finished the job in about an hour. I think one small section of their concrete work around the window could have been better, but the work was satisfactory otherwise.

The estimate was prompt and fair, the salesman made the measurements and we were on our way. When the windows and the installer arrived, he realized that the original measurements were off and the windows too small. We had him remeasure and reschedule for another day. We were told that he would be the person to install the windows. When the second attempt was made, they sent a different installer who claimed that he could not install the new windows, they were now too large. After I called and voiced my concern (flipped out), a manager came to my house, measured the windows and promised that the original installer would put them in. After that, all was well, the windows were installed by the original installer and they knocked the price down for our trouble. The job itself only took a few hours, but getting them there took four times longer than we had expected.

They did very well. The sales representative was very efficient and on time. Mr. Evangelou, who installed the windows, did a superb job. I am very pleased with the workmanship, cost, and work being done on time.

EVERY EMPLOYEE I DEALT WITH- THE FRIENDLY RECEPTIONIST, THE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE SALESMAN AND THE EFFICIENT AND VERY NEAT INSTALLER-WERE A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. WORK WAS DONE ON SCHEDULED DAY WITH A MINIMUM OF BOTHER AND DISRUPTION. THE INSTALLER EVEN CLEANED OUT THE DRYER VENT BEFORE RE-INSTALLING. EXCELLENT WORK, GOOD VALUE.

Work was very professionally done. Cost estimate was reasonable and installer arrived on time and had window installed very quickly. We had used the company in the past,so when we decided to have one more window installed, we did not even contact any other companies. We would use them again, but we have run out of windows for them to do.

Installer was reluctant at first to start installation due rain, but was patient and was able to complete installation despite intermittent rain. Installation was completed and the crew cleaned up before leaving.

Overall experience was good. There was some miscommunication between the sales person and the actual installers and they installers had to go back to get some tools and ladders they didn't have so they got a late start. They stayed until the job was done and they cleaned up everything when they were done.

Excellent work at an excellent price. Initially I had some minor leakage problems but they sent someone out right away to correct. Still later there was a small leak to be corrected and again someone came right out. A very responsive company.

Our initial installation date had to be rescheduled due to rain. Quickly after that they came out, on a Saturday, to do the installation. It only took an hour. They look great, although the room I had them put in is still cold (I thought the glass block would help insulate more).

Everything was great and they were very flexible with my schedule. I was very impressed with their installer. He was fast and cleaned up everything. He was early to the site and already had a mix of cement ready to go! Not only does it look great but, it was done in less than an hour without any need for me to be all that present! Great Job!!!!

The person that took my initial phone call to have someone come to my house to provide a quote was professional & polite. The salesman was prompt, polite, & efficient. I felt no pressure at all & made the decision to purchase the windows. The salesman called the office & set up the install. The installer was prompt, polite, & professional. He did what he said he would do in less time than anticipated, cleaned his work space up perfectly, took all the trash, & left me with 6 VERY lovely glass block windows. In a nutshell? I got exactly what I paid for & then some. Too bad Cinti Glass Block doesn't do other things... they would be the PERFECT company to work with throughout the house. They are what customer service is supposed to be.

Angie's List said that Cincinnati Glass Block Company offers a senior discount. When I asked the rep he said "no". I then pushed for one so he went out to his truck to make a phone call, came back, & said that he would give $20 off of the estimated $500. I felt like he wasn't truthful & if he represented the company, I wasn't going to use this company.

Prompt service and great price. We would recommend this company to anybody.

The installation took less time than estimated, despite extra work required to get the windows to fit properly (our fault for not being home, so measurements were taken from the outside). The man who did the installation was friendly, hard-working, and cleaned up well after himself.
