Work was excellent. Very professional. Had best price as compared to several quotes. Seemed to have limited staff, however. An injury to one worker resulted in a two-day delay for which they were very apologetic. I would recommend them.

It was on the front of the house. The crew was top notch but the owner of the company was not very good.

Follow up: We have had some continuing problems with water intrusion into the garage. The slope in the corners of the drive at the garage entry are too low, and water can flow in if it's a strong storm. We called many times, could never get a direct response, always told we'd get a call back. We got calls back, but never got to talk live to someone. They promised to come out, look at the issue, and figure out a solution. They say they came out and looked at it, but never arranged to actually meet with and talk to us. There are also several very long cracks in the concrete, which leads me to guess that the base under the concrete wasn't sufficient or packed down. No way to know for sure, as we've never been able to talk directly to them. The bottom line is if there are any problems with the job discovered after the fact, expect that you will get zero follow through and no satisfaction. Changing my grades quite a bit, but they've had every opportunity to do the right thing, and here we are.

Job #1, first day: Shawn began by himself and patched the concrete steps. Day 2: Shawn and 2 other gentlemen finished by skim-coating and adding a sealer. The steps turned out better than I had hoped they would! They look brand new! Job #2: Shawn and Tony came, consulted with me on how I would like the second step to curve and made a couple of suggestions. They then completed the step, finishing it beautifully. This second step addition was several hundred dollars less than the lowest estimate I received from other companies.

I just used them and they did a very good job. Tore down the old stairs and put new concrete stairs on the porch. They were very good and I would highly recommend them. They did everything as they had promised. I got a couple of estimates and they were the best. We will definitely use them again.

It was not a job well done. He ended up pouring the concrete in two pours leaving a VERY noticeable, unattractive delineation down the center of the patio. He kept telling us he could fix it but in the end he only made it worse. He was not cooperative in trying to come to a solution; instead he told us that we'd just have to live with it. Ultimately we had to call in another company to repair his work and complete the project.

Scott was great! He was very responsive and called me back the same day I called to talk about the scope of the project. I had a short time frame that I needed the work done in and he was able to move a couple of jobs around and get mine completed on time and on budget. His crew was extremely nice and did great work. I will use home for any other concrete jobs that come up in the future.

Scott was responsive at our first meeting in May and his estimate for the work was the best (and a bit lower) than other contractors had given for the project. We set up a time in mid-July and although rain had delayed some of his other projects, he kept me apprised of the start date and began on schedule. Scott came out with his two-man crew and detailed the job for them. They finished the concrete repair in two days. They hauled all of the refuse away and I'm happy with the result.

We love the patio! Scott was very responsive to our needs, budget, and time frame. His crew was very nice and professional. We have two small children and the crew was very nice and courteous to them. The work was completed in a very timely and professional manner. We get compliments all the time on the great outcome. I would recommend them to anyone, and I will use them in the future.

I had left a few messages with the company about repairing a concrete step. They returned my calls and said on two different occasions they would come by during the day and take a look and send me an estimate.. The last time was last Friday May 30... No word. No email.. nothing. No evidence they had come by. I had called before then cause I hadn't heard from them and they had told me they would be out on Friday but apparently they weren't and I haven't heard anything back from them. I desperately needed to get this step fixed because I am trying to get my house on the market . I understand they may be busy and weather interferes.. but to just get a quote??? ..

The company was called twice (4/17/12 & 4/21/24), I left 2 phone numbers and said there was a deadline, and have still not been called back as of 5-1-2014

Scott was very responsive following my first contact. He came and provided an estimate for the work within 2 days. They were able to fit the work into the schedule I had and completed as committed. The crew worked to ensure the color was best match for the existing deck and put in the extra time to do a quality job. Very pleased.

Scott responded very quickly to our request for an estimate. He scheduled a time to complete the work and followed up promptly when the weather did not cooperate, scheduling a second date. He arrived as promised on the rescheduled date and everything was completed in a very professional manner. The crew was additionally challenged because we needed them to coordinate services with our roof installer who was having a dumpster delivered next to where they had to work on the driveway. I was very pleased with their willingness to explain everything to us and how respectful they were. The concrete looked great and we will definitely contact Scott again for additional work.

Contacted Cincinnati Concrete Solutions in early October 2013, returned signed bid 10/15/13, was told mine would be a filler job and would probably be done on a Friday. "This is a job that I'd like to use as a filler so you won't need to wait until almost Thanksgiving. I'd like to be able to call when a job wraps up early and we could come out on a Friday to do it." 11/16/13 Contacted Cincinnati Concrete Solutions to see where my job stood and 11/17/13 received the following reply: "Hi John You are scheduled we have been dealing with rain and snow at least a day or two the last few weeks which has prevented us from getting ahead of schedule. We are starting a job Monday and yours is the next on the list. I will contact you Tuesday to get you updated. Thanks Scott" The above was the last I heard from him. I have no idea what kind of work they would have done but if their customer service/follow up is any indication ... At this point we have a walk and patio that has gone through another Winter needing to be sealed to preserve it properly and I have had to contact another supplier.

They were excellent, timely, and the price was reasonable. They did a good job and it looks great!

The service was excellent. I have a tenant at the property and if they approved the work it must have been very good. There were some communication issues I noticed with the reviews on Angie's List but Scott communicated very well via email and text. He sent pictures of the final work as I was 500 miles away. The service was delayed a couple of days due to weather and there was nothing he could do about that. The price was competitive. My tenant has been asked since the work was done, who did the work as it was such good quality and they were impressed with the work. Overall Scott and his crew did a very nice job.

The service went excellent, they were very good. The owner Scott was very professional, accommodating, and was a very good listener. The staff was great to work with as well. It only took two days to complete the job. I felt that they were a very honest and trustworthy company. They were very component on the job.

this review is long overdue. . for starters, Scott came out to give an est. for two sets of stairs to be replaced (which was my main reason for concrete work). after reviewing other bids, I thOught to go with ccs for the work. Scott skin the earliest the job would be done was early June (deepening on the rain). this was mid May might I add... needles to say it's now end of August and yet to have the Jon done. I have not heard from him, which would be nice to know he even got the proposal (tried to communicate with them, but get nowhere, no answer). I really don't understand how a company runs like that.

If communication is important than you may want to look elsewhere. Was somewhat vague about start date. Estimate sent a week after visit. Had to call to confirm I was scheduled after I had sent the signed estimate . Workers started around 9am on first day and worked all day to remove and start framing. Second day they arrived after the cement truck was there and waiting for them. The workmanship was adequate as far as i could tell. Looks very nice and level. Clean-up was very -very bad. They left the runoff water under a tree in the yard and said it would go away. I i had to break it up and spread it some so i could plant grass seed. The owner SCOTT never came to see how the job went and after contacting him about the concerns and a wanting a copy of the contract stating that we paid in full I still have not received it. Its been a month. He said he would come and look at the concrete runoff water mess, possible fix said problem and give me a receipt but i am still waiting. Thankfully we paid by check or i would still have no proof of payment. His price was in the ballpark of the others i got an estimate from but he could get to me earlier than them and that was my main reason for choosing them.

I am satisfied with the finished job, did everything go without a hitch? No it never does, but when problem arose, and questions were asked, the issues were handled to everyone's satisfaction. The worker on site and running the job, was very good and anticipated troubles and headed them off before they became bigger. The question I pose to me is would I hire them again, and the answer is definitely a yes.

There was little to no communication. Scott finally called, almost 4 wks after I had signed and sent the proposal back and after I had called again and left a message. Scott informed me that he was coming in 2 days. I unfortunately had a conflict on that day. He informed me that he would come in 3 days. Scott never showed and never called. I have not heard from Scott since. I have tried to contact him to no avail. I realize that my job was not a big-ticket item, just a concrete step from my walkway to the porch. I hosted a large graduation party a week ago and had hoped to have this project done a long time ago. The lack of professionalism by this company has been disappointing to say the least.

Scott returned my call promptly and came by and gave an estimate very quickly. We scheduled the work and his team showed up on time the scheduled date and started the work right away. They were very courteous and completed the work within the two days promised. It looks great!

Scott came out within a day or two, and I had an estimate later that day. We scheduled the work. It took two days to do the job - one day to tear out, and actually pouring the concrete on the second day. I am very happy with all aspects of the job. Scott communicated the install dates to me. He called me a day or two before the start date to delay by two days due to the threat of rain. He called the day before the new start day to confirm that they were going to be there. On the start day, Scott was there with two of his crew. One of the crew explained the job to me, confirming the work, and going over some challenges specific to my job (a handrail). Scott and crew were professional and came with a good attitudes. The end result looks excellent! The handrail that may have been challenging came out excellent. The work was completed two days ago, and two neighbors have commented on how nice the work looks.

We awaited a phone call from Cincinnati Concrete Solutions around the anticipated start date of 4/17/13. Unfortunately, we never heard from the company. My husband and myself have made multiple phone calls to Scott regarding our project and never heard back.

They arrived on time completed job, cleaned up and left.......But the vehicle they drove left several of OIL droppings in my driveway which I was not very pleased with and I'm right now trying to remove. This may not be a big deal to some but our home is only 7 years old and they driveway is like new and the oil stain's are a eye sore.
