Scott came out, I explained what we wanted done. The next day I had an estimate in hands and when we scheduled the dates for the work, his crew showed up on time and did a very nice job. The sidewalk and the extra step we added look as expected and all that is left to do for them is cutting the lines for the predetermined breaking points. Scott's communication to his team could have been a little bit better as they had some detail questions for me that were already discussed, but that was a very minor thing, not really worth mentioning. Overall, I am very happy with their work and see no reason not to recommend them to somebody who has a similar job to do.

The quality of the work as okay, but I was most disappointed in the lack of communication. My two main issues. 1) I clearly stated and had photos of a curved sitting wall that I wanted around the firepit. When the materials came, a small straight wall was created. When I asked the worker he said that he was told the was to be straight. I asked the owner, who quoted me and he said he did tell his worker and he didn't know why he made it straight rather than curved. The straight wall was already bonded, so the worker had to bust the wall up with a mallet and restart. Some of the pavers still have the bond on them, which looks terrible. The worker (Rueben?) said that they would have to order special curved pavers to make a curved sitting wall. The pavers that were ordered were straight. The wall ended up getting curved, but there are unsightly gaps between the pavers on the backside (because of using straight pavers). 2) My other issue is that the communication was inconsistent. In the middle of the project, there was one week when no one came out at all. I finally found out that the reason was because some building materials were backordered at the store. I completely understand this and would have appreciated a call. It would have been much easier to inform me than to let me wait a week, get angry at the situation, call the owner a few times (very hard to get ahold of) and then have him tell me. There was another group of young men that came out and worked very hard. They were nice to my family. However, I did have to pick up their drink bottles from my yard a few times. Though we have had these issues and I would not hire this company again, my family does enjoy our outdoor space.

Scot came promptly to do the estimate and explained the details of what he planned to do. After signing the contract, he put us on the schedule. Scot and his crew arrived exactly when he said they would arrive. The job took 2 days. The concrete was stamped and finished and the results are beautiful. We are so pleased and would hire them again for other concrete jobs. Before we hired them, we checked out 3 references Scot gave us. Those jobs were also beautiful so we felt confident to hire them. This was a great experience. We highly recommend Cincinnati Concrete Solutions.

Overall they did a good job. They started the job two days earlier due to rain. After the rain they completed the job.

I just wanted to send my kudos to Scott Jaeger and his crew from Cincinnati Concrete Solutions. After we had our home's front steps damaged by another company who had installed a paver landing, we reached out to Scott and his group to see what our options were for repairing the damage done by the other company. Scott came out quickly, took a look, and turned around an estimate within a few days. He was a good listener and provided thoughtful insight on how best we could repair the steps in a manner that would last a long time as well as provided some creative design options (swirl patterns and staining color). It was refreshing to have a contractor be so easy to work with and do just what he said he would do without prompting. We are very happy with the result and would recommend Scott and his company to neighbors and friends looking to have concrete work done.

We had some sidewalk squares marked by the city needing the be replaced by May 1st. In an effort to lower costs for ourselves and our neighbors we worked with Scott from Cincinnati Concrete Solutions to get a group rate for about 11 homes. Working with Scott was a pleasure since he made multiple trips out to our street to do estimates. When it came down to work day, these guys were professional, clean, and by far the best that did work in the neighborhood. They cleaned all old block, mud, dirt, and equipment every day so as to not disturb the neighbors and the landscape (others in the neighborhood lost a lot of grass with their contractors). They even edged out our entry walk and blocks when they were getting replaced so that it was easy to set again. The work looks great and we have had neighbors so pleased with their work that they will be using them for more business. The professionalism of Scott and his team was easy and a true pleasure. Though I hope to not need anymore concrete work done, we would surely go back to these guys if we did.

I found Cincinnati Concrete Solutions on the BBB website and contacted the business owner, Scott. Scott made an appointment with me to come out to my house for which he was on time, courteous, and had excellent communication skills. I explained to him what I wanted and he explained to me what my options were. Two different options sounded appealing to me. Scott went out to is truck for 15 minutes and came back to the door with estimates for the two options. I found both of Scotts estimates to be very reasonable compared to other estimates I had gotten. I chose the option that fit my budget and desires best and signed the contract. Scott let me know that the concrete business is very weather sensitive and told me what week the work would be done. I spoke with him the week before and he let me know when they would be out to complete the job. Promptly at 8:30 three of Scotts employees arrived the first day and took out all the bushes, old concrete, laid the forms and put down the crushed stone. Day two Scott was out with four of his employees and they put down the rebar and poured, colored and stamped the concrete in the back patio. They also poured the plain concrete walkway in the front of the house. Scott asked if I'd like them to add a nice slate stamping detail to the front walk at no charge to make it look nicer. Of course I took him up on it and absolutely love it. Day three Scott came back with two of his employees and washed and sealed everything. My four year old son ran across the patio and got dirt all over it and they had to rewash and redry the pation prior to putting on the sealer. I was very sorry to Scott for all the added work. He shrugged it off and said my son didn't know and it wasn't a big deal. Scott and all his employees were very nice and respectful and I enjoyed having them to the work at the house. All the concrete work they did is absolutely beautiful and the workmanship is perfect!!! When I need concrete work done in the future I will definately be contacting Cincinnati Concrete Solutions.
