Chilly contacted me promptly and scheduled the appointment at a convenient time for me. Sam arrived on time and did a very thorough job of inspecting and cleaning my AC unit. He explained everything as he went. He seemed trustworthy and was not trying to sell a lot of additional services like some vendors do when you buy a discounted service/inspection. He was excellent to work with and I will use him again when I have AC needs.

This small company is excellent. Sam Childress went well beyond my basic expectations -- more than just cleaning the coils and saying "goodbye." He was here over an hour, thoroughly cleaning inside and outside HVAC components. I had a question about the operation/settings of my thermostat; he checked to verify proper operation and explained how things are, indeed, working correctly. I have rarely seen such professional service. Thank you very much, Sam!

The provider called before he came and showed up in the early part of the hour that was scheduled for him to arrive. As a first time homeowner, I am not familiar with a lot of ins and outs of home maintenance yet. So I asked if I could follow him around and watch to ask questions. The provider seemed to be fine with this and educated me on some of the areas I should look for, when I should clean my filter, and the parts of the outside unit I need to be familiar with. It was a good visit and I feel more informed on this part of my home. He also looked at one of my basement lights and told me what could be the possible cause of it not functioning. He also made some suggestions on what I could do the fix the issue.

Communication was excellent / prompt from the beginning. Service tech was very professional, courteous.

They were too far from me and explained that they could not travel to my area. They were very polite in telling me this.

The service went very well. Sam was the technician. Very friendly and courteous. Arrived on time and with booties! He explained some of the things he was looking for during the check. Seemed very knowledgeable. Luckily it was a relatively easy fix! I will surely use them again!

Pleasant on phone when I called in. Next day service. Punctual for service calls. Explained problem and fixed. Advised proper care of radiators for future. Returned a week later to replace valves on radiators. Pleased with work and service and would definitely use this company again

Sam was great! Clean - the booties were on the moment he came in the door. Professional and affordable! He had great answers for my older furnace. I would definitely use them again.

Our central air was not working correctly. They thoroughly checked our central air unit and provided a detailed diagnosis and estimate of the cost to fix/replace the unit. Although we had to use a company utilized by our homeowners insurance provider to remedy the problem, we would definitely recommend Chilly Heating and Cooling.

Very friendly, honest, and a nice guy. His wife was punctual answering my emails and they were both very accommodating to me having to reschedule our initial appointment. He cleaned my furnace and performed a combustion test on my 20 year old furnace. He told me it was still running at 75% efficiency and that it will last for many more years. I will definitely use Chilly again and would recommend them to anyone looking for great service from a great company.

Sam did a thorough job with the furnace and went out of his way to determine functionality of my humidifier, offering to return when weather conditions were right to check it.

In September I purchased a furnace tune-up from Chilly Heating & Cooling for $65 through Angie's list. In December, when I finally got around to scheduling the tune-up (now well into the winter weather), Chilly offered to come out within a day of my call. When Sam arrived, I asked him to also look over my whole house humidifier which hadn't been working for a number of years. Within minutes Sam called me downstairs to show me that with a simple fix he was able to put my humidifier back in working condition. He even shared exactly what he had done to remedy the problem and refused to charge me for the quick repair. I was shocked and elated!!! Two years earlier, I had a very different answer from a Recker and Boerger serviceman regarding the same broken humidifier. After looking it over, the Recker and Boerger serviceman told me the same humidifier was not repairable and needed replaced. He went so far as to provide me photocopies of replacement models ranging from $400 to over $1000. Due to the expense, I chose to live with an broken humidifier. I couldn't be more pleased with the service provided by Sam of Chilly Heating & Cooling! In addition to the service he provided, Sam arrived on time, put on and off shoe covers each time he went in and out of my home to protect my floors, provided a detailed write-up of the work performed and was extremely pleasant to work with. A TRUE PROFESSIONAL! I WILL DEFINITELY CALL CHILLY HEATING & COOLING IN THE FUTURE!!

They were friendly and helpful on the phone, The day after the service, there was a leak coming from the humidifier. A little valve or something had come loose. I called and they immediately came out to look at it, which was great. He fixed it free of charge. I think being an Angie's List member helped in this regard.

They came out within the few days after I purchased the "Big Deal" and the service turned out good. They came out, provided the service they said they were going to provided and got out pretty quickly too. It worked out really well. They were nice enough. I did pay them extra for the extra service that they provided me.

It turned out great! They did a great job. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. He was really thorough. He took his time and explained everything and actually gave me a quote later if we needed a furnace in the future. I thought he was good. I was impressed with his service.

It's fine. I needed to get some filters and he just checked it out and cleaned it and it was fine.

They were very prompt. They did a great job. They came to tune-up the furnace and I had them go ahead and do the a/c tune-up as well. They also fixed the humidifier on the furnace and few other things that I felt were going above and beyond. I was very impressed with the technician. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Didn't take very long to do the work ,one hour, and he went out and got the right furnace filter and humidifier pad himself. He even unclogged the humidifier drain in the floor at no extra charge.

A problem was identified with part of the unit. The technician informed me of the issue and made the appropriate fixes. AC works great!

It went well. The tech was on time and professional (and got a long with my dog). He took time to check the entire system and was careful about not making a mess.
