Provider required that I be there during the estimate. This sounds like a requirement due to a high pressure sales technique. Either way, this was a rental property, so my being there was inconvenient. Then, they told me they don't side just eaves and trim. You have to get a "whole" siding job (sorry, but I'm not covering up the brick). Apparently there's not enough money in it for them.

They were very professional and quick! It was a difficult replacement, but they did it with minimal repair needed afterward. We were very pleased.

Very poor initial installation of windows by Champion. They damaged our walls during installation, which have yet to be completely fixed. Sub contractors were going to leave damaged wood in frame until we demanded the damaged wood to be replaced before window was installed (despite we requested & confirmed all damaged wood around windows would be replaced at time of purchase). The sub contractors actually asked us to see the contract where that was written! Outside gaps including holes in the siding created by installation have been fixed now. Champion sent two crews (sub contractors) to work on initial installation to get job completed in one visit (which suggests to me that want to get the job done quickly). Crews left a mess outside and inside after installation, actually took 2 hours plus outside, picking up glass, nails & fiber installation. Also, spent a few hours inside cleaning up after one of the crews. They sent one of the two crews back after sending pictures of the install, the crew worked two Saturday mornings to fix some of the problems that were created during the initial poor installation (holes in siding of house, caulking all over new windows, gaps in caulking, damaged corners of walls, gaps left in framing of windows (outside), caulked over drain holes, no caulking on some of the bottom of windows). They did send the better of the two crews back, the other crew was installing windows for new customers (the job they did was so poor they should be training). Quality of windows seem to be good-excellent. However, overall customer service from Champion is horrible & installation was lousy. Champion was not very sincere in their apology & did not offer any refund/compensation for all of our headaches. I do have to disclose the manager did offer "a dinner on us" after receiving complaints from us. I kindly declined given our extra time was much greater than "a dinner on us". Champion has a great lifetime warranty (if they still are still in business when we need them) & their windows seem to be good quality but I would not waste your time with the headaches. We paid for what we were lead to believe was stellar customer service, stellar installation, & stellar windows. We only received one of the three, which we could have purchased for a better price elsewhere. The sales person promises did not match the experience we received. He promised the crews would leave the house the way they found it (we knew better but didn't think they would cause damage, we only expected small dings & scrapes). Overall, go with another company.

We asked the provider for a quote for replacement of a sliding glass patio door and changing an existing large window to a bay window with a seat. The salesperson came and did an excessively long presentation about his windows, including the history of the company and a heat lamp test. He gave values that no other company uses anymore and so are not comparable across companies. When I got other companies' valid numbers, I emailed him and he grudgingly provided them. He took a lot of time to finally measure and give a quote. But there is an extra cost for finishing the wood of the bay window and they way they would finish it was to cover the wood with a cheap laminate material that he admitted would peel up if kids touched it often, when other companies include painting or staining in the (similar) cost. He also pushed uncomfortably hard asking what other companies we were getting quotes from.

They did a good job. They were nice.

It was fine. They did a very good job. We are very happy. They were here right on time. They sent extra people to work on it because there was a chance of rain. They did good. They were a little bit higher. The people that came to do the roof, a lot of them didn't speak English but the man who was in charge spoke English and there was some one directly from Champion who was here also.

We started with them when a friend at work had used them and liked them. They do stand by their work. The only issue I've had with them for 15 years, is that they always try to insist that my husband be here. They complain about it every time. He has never been here. But every time they want him here. That I don't think is professional.

It went very well. They did the work fast, it was clean, and they did a good job. It was fair priced. The quality of their service was very good. The awnings were very nice. Their responsiveness was very fast.

I had fixed up an appointment on a weekday for an estimate. The salesperson visited our place, looked at the requirement and wasn't able to give us a quote because he said there were so many options. After we promised not to hold him to it, he estimated $2000 -$3500 for the kind of job we were looking for. Honestly, this first visit was a waste of our time and the salesperson's time because he suggested anyway that we visit the factory on Champion Way on the following Sunday. Even though the factory is some distance away from our house, we visited to get a quote. Once there, this salesperson and another one went back to recommending a sliding door and kept insisting how their sliding doors are different from all others. We persisted and finally managed to get a quote for a French Door which turned out to be close to $5000. When I asked why he had estimated $3500 earlier, noting that we did not definitely hold him to it, but were merely surprised at the difference, he got touchy and started saying he should have known who to give quotes to. Overall, this was a complete waste of our time.

I wasn't even here when they did the installation, but someone else was here. The biggest thing was the cost of the door. The negative part of it was that it was detained several times because of the door as it was a special order. It kept getting detained. The price was pretty high, but the quality was very good. I would consider using them again based on what I was getting. I won't totally rule them out.

The first time we had one team come out and the second time we had another team come out. I was not pleased with the way the windows were installed and their lack of cleanliness. I contacted the company about my concerns. They sent some gentlemen out to correct the problems. Overall, I was pleased with the result. I was not pleased with them this time with the installation of windows. But the first time they did some sliding doors and other windows. They did an excellent job. It was a group of four men and they did a very fine job. The team that came this last time was kind of sloppy in their work. The way the windows were installed did not look well done. The screw heads were exposed. However, they sent out someone to correct the issues and now it looks very nice. The windows have lifetime warranty and hence I will be using them in the future.

The service worked out fine, we were very pleased. We love the door, we feel it is an excellent quality door, and the warranty is good on it. It had to be special ordered, and it came in quicker than they said it would. The guy who installed it were very neat and clean, and they cleaned up after themselves, including the outside of the patio. The door is very attractive, it is air tight, it has made a big difference to the comfort of the room. We were very pleased. They were very polite and very professional. We have no complaints. We did a little comparison shopping, and their warranty was better than some of their competitors. They were here when they said they would be, and they were very professional.

The work truned out fine. The service was good, the communication was a little bit off, in terms of timing.

Couldn't have gone more smoothly. They were prompt, efficient, and did excellent work. But for having brand new windows, you wouldn't have known they were there.

It was great! They replaced all 10 in one day. They look beautiful and the me installing them were very polite and neat. They was no mss to clean up after they left.

We had them come back out as the new windows had the same amount of condensation. At this time they informed us that the condensation was not because of the windows, but an issue with our house. If we had known this from the beginning we would not have replaced all our windows.

The subcontractor didn't do a good job on the electrical. They also put siding on the house. They left jobs unfinished and they didn't put the gutters back on right. I could never get them to come back. I had another company finish the jobs.

I had no trouble with the installation. However, I did question their sales practice. I already had a competitive bid at $8,000 when my parents signed the contract for $12,000. When I contacted Champion, I had them match the offer and take $4,000 off the quote. They completed the installation in one day which was on time as scheduled. They cleaned up well after the job was complete. I had no problem with the product or installation.

We chose them for the work based on their reputation, cost being reasonable, and I liked their product. The job took about a day and half and they cleaned up well after completion. Everything turned out fine.
