They're awful. Absolutely awful. It's a new house. Then the windows start to leak. They come out and fix them. Every time they pro-rate them until now it's down to where you just have to pay for a whole new window. So why would I go to you guys. I'll go somewhere better cause you guys suck. I can't stand Champion Windows. I don't like them at all. There's a few windows that need seals, but we'll replace them with someone else. They said well you guys have been in this house for 29 years. And I said yeah, but you guys have come out and replaced these windows several times over. We literally have had to replace every single window in this house. Some more than once. So I just slammed them on Yelp. Now everyone can read about them. D's in everything. I quit calling them. You know you don't want to have to replace your house windows over and over.

The service was great. Everything worked out pretty well. The price was pretty expensive. It was very high quality. I cannot complain about the price. It can always be cheaper. They were there on time. The sales rep was awesome. He was very good.

They did a great job, prompt friendly. Windows are super, one sliding door had a problem, they came out and fixed the problem very quickly and without charge.

They came out three different times because I couldn't afford to have everything done at once. We've got a big old farmhouse, so we did it in three different segments, at least a year or so apart. I'm extremely extremely satisfied. They were wonderful, absolutely wonderful. The product is wonderful, the service was wonderful and the installation was wonderful. They went the extra mile, every time, really went the extra mile. I can't say enough about Champion, I think it's the best window company there is. They really stand behind their stuff and they really work with you. I was a difficult customer because I live so far away from them. So, it was really far for them to drive out here and yet, any problem I had, they came within a few days and fixed it. I just had a problem just recently and they came right out here, no hesitation and fixed it right up. So, it was really good. An example of how good they are: the workman must have misunderstood because on the outside trim, where the board that comes up and the one that comes across in the corner, where they meet, they can either lay them flush or they can put a diagonal cut on it. I had asked for a diagonal, but somehow they didn't quite know that. So I came out and I said, "Oh no, no, no, no. I don't want square, that looks so podunky. I want it to look real professional." I said, "They have to be diagonal." They didn't say a word, they just did it over on a diagonal for me. they were just great. The other thing was, on one of these big picture windows, I wanted six panes, rather than the traditional four, which is very hard to do, very hard because they don't have a template for that. They had to really work on it, but they did it, it didn't cost me any extra. There were a couple of problems with some of the criss-cross inserts, where they weren't straight. They must have come out four or five times until they got that right, but they just kept redoing them until they were right. They probably lost money, but I've never seen anybody so good. They did all the fascia soffit board around the whole house, which are four gables and then there is the front porch where they put the other fascia soffit and the inside board. It was a big beam which needed covered and then the porch ceiling. There was a place, when you would approach, that I didn't like the way the seam was, it just didn't look very good to me and I told them. I told them where I wanted the seam to be and they changed the whole thing to what I wanted it to look like. They were just tremendous. I don't know if they did that for everybody, but I'm nobody special. So I feel like they really went out of their way to make me happy and to do it right. I'm not having a bit of a problem. These windows are beautiful. Now my mother, has them too. She had them before me and she was very satisfied. So that's why I got them. I looked at every window company in Cincinnati. They've been around for a long long long long time. My mother, having so much satisfaction with her windows. Somebody shot a BB through one of them and they came out instantly. As soon as she called, they came out and gave her a new sash, no questions asked. They're really great, you can't say enough about them. It's a good company. They've been in business forever, they've been in a long time. They've got a great reputation that follows them. With these windows panes that are six instead of four, what happened was, the salesperson said it couldn't be done. I've got two rooms that are close that had the same type of windows. They put the six in there. I don't know why they did, but they did. Then when I wanted them for the back, the sales person said they couldn't do it, they don't have a template. I said, "Well, look out there, they do have a template. They did it for the front window." He goes, "Well, it's a little bit smaller." Anyway, I called and talked to the head honcho guy down there and he said, "We will do it for you." They were so kind to me and they got it and they look beautiful. They're just pretty and everything matches up. It's really nice. I'm just so happy with them. It cost a lot, they're very expensive compared to some of the other ones. But you get what you pay for. All the windows operate beautifully.

It went well. In the living room, I had a ceiling to floor window that they changed to a regular height window. On the kitchen, they were on the same end in the house, I had another window that was ceiling to floor and they took that out and put a man door in there. It was a lot of work. I've actually been thinking about calling them back, I know it's been over a year later. The only disappointment I have with them is when I talk to the sales person, I told him I wanted storm windows and then a screen. I ended up with the top part as the storm window and the bottom part is the screen. I really don't have a full storm window on any of the windows in the house. I think that was just a miscommunication. I worked a lot in the last year so I haven't had time to contact them and get them back out here. I don't want to put out any more money because I feel like that's what I should have got to begin with. As far as the quality of their work, I had no problem with that. Price-wise, I thought it was reasonable. They came in second in quotes. I had three quotes. They are local and they are American made. Their factory is within 20 miles of my house. I'm all about buying American. When the installers came and they were going to redo the back wall, they thought they were just going to put siding up over it. When I came home one day, they had installed all the windows and the doors and did the siding on the side of the house but the back wall they had just started on. I walked out there and they had one sheet of the new under lament on top of the old siding that was there which that wasn't the deal. They were supposed to take off the old siding, rebuild the wall then put up a new under lament and a new siding. I called the sales person, I said, "this is not what we talked about. The whole deal was to rebuild that back wall." He said, "absolutely". He met them out here the next morning and settled it. They had a different set of installers. One set of installers did the windows and doors and then another set of installers came, did the siding and rebuilt the back door. They did a couple of extra little things. We have an outside electrical plug, they did around that. They installed the two porch slide. I bought new fixtures for those and they said we'll install it, no problem.

It worked out great. There were several windows that they could not do because they were small. I think we tried to get them to do a front door as well and that might have made it to $4000 initially but then it came down quite significantly with just the windows involved. It was about 1500 or something like that. The price was reasonable. I don't know about their punctuality because I wasn't there. Their work was nice and neat and they cleaned up after themselves.

Very efficient crew. i liked the lifetime guarantee. We used them to come back and fix some windows and they were prompt and fixed the issues.

The owner came out, he was friendly but we never received the quote. If the job was too small or difficult I would have appreciated that information upfront as opposed to being told we would receive a quote and then never hearing back.

We love the Patio Room. We have only had it for five months so haven't experienced warm weather yet. There was some weather related delays such as concrete couldn't be poured because it was a very rainy summer. The workman who built the room on site was excellent, he consulted with us, asked if we had any concerns and was able to resolve any issues. He. cleaned up the site every day before he left. When the job was done he left a clean room, the glass was spotless and the site was clean. He gets an excellent rating. We have a few problems with having phone calls returned. We have had to be persistent. We are waiting for a replacement skylight(leaking).

We visited the Champion showroom and spoke with the salesman, Scott about our needs. He set up a time to meet with us at our home, arrived promptly and stayed for approximately 2.5 hours talking through all the details and providing a quote. Although he was very insistent that we sign a contract right away and even tried to persuade us with "limited time" offer scare tactics, we had an appointment with another [Angie's List] vendor a couple of days later. After two more (lengthy) meetings with the Champion salesman and various negotiations on the pricing - over an approximate 2-3 week period - we signed the Champion contract. We went with Champion primarily for two reasons: 1) they offered the wider profile siding, which matched our original siding more closely 2) the salesman insisted they would not just cover the old soffit but remove the old (it was a wood board with only a few small holes) and/or ensure additional holes were drilled for more ventilation. We knew the amount of ventilation we currently had was not sufficient. Our salesman said we would be contacted by the scheduling department to schedule our installation and that they were about 8-10 weeks out. At the 8 week mark, my husband began reaching out to our salesman because we had not received the call to schedule. After two calls to the salesman with still no installation scheduled, I placed a third call and we finally got on the schedule. As the installation was taking place, it was apparent that the insulated siding would stick out from the trim approximately 1.5 to 2 inches - which our salesman assured me would NOT be the case. Additionally, the installation team knew nothing about removing the old soffit, nor drilling more holes for ventilation. The job lead contacted the salesman who intern called my husband to tell him that they could not remove the old soffit because they needed to nail the new soffit to it. He also said the siding was special order and could not be returned. (We asked to have it returned because there is no way to install the siding so that it is flush with our trim) I will add though, that the trim wrap was done well. After some back and forth, the installation team agreed to drill some additional holes for ventilation. It was during this time that I contacted the Sales Manager Camille Saleh to discuss returning the siding. Eventually, they agreed that they would return the siding and remove the siding portion from our invoice. When it was complete and the installation team came to our home to pick up the siding, we asked them to confirm that the additional ventilation holes were drilled. They said yes, it was done. My husband took down a small portion of the soffit on the back of the house to reveal that they had not drilled holes at all - and only added more ventilation on a portion of the front of the house. I contacted Camille once again to let him know this - and although he offered to have them return to complete the job, I respectfully declined and told him honestly that I prefer not to have Champion do any more work on my house. My husband spent the weekend removing the new soffit so he could take down the old soffit completely and then reinstalling the new soffit - to provide the sufficient amount of ventilation. It's worth noting that the old soffit board did not need to be there for the new soffit to be nailed to for installation, as we were told. I can only assume that they simply did not want to take the time to remove it. In summary - Champion only performed one third of the services they were supposed to. Personally, I feel that from our very first interaction, representatives of Champion lied to us - with the singular exception of Camille. Had it not been for him, my review would be an F instead of a D. In hindsight, I wish I had gone with the second vendor we interviewed. At every opportunity, I will warn my friends and neighbors against using Champion.

Still not complete! Replacement was expected in early/mid June 2015. It took 6 weeks for a replacement window to be ordered and manufactured. On the first scheduled date, they broke the replacement in transit. Another window had to be ordered. Today, 6 weeks later, replacement #2 comes and it's the wrong size. Mind you this was a replacement to a champion window that was already installed at the house. So in 6 weeks I'll know whether they manage to pull this off or not. I'll certainly never buy windows from them in the future based on this experience.
