Campbell Roofing

Mr. Campbell does not use start singles when he installs roofs. Which voids the manufactures warranty for windy damage. He also sells an upgraded single to get more money from you that will not carry a warranty because he does not install to the manufacture specifications. His roof pattern is not consistent. I have singles going 3 different directions on my roof. He also only uses 2 nails per single. Call a roof inspector and have his work inspected. If you have a problem with your roof who are you calling back. (Mr. Campbell) He knows the short cuts he is taking and he knows how to cover them up. He also damaged my home. Damaged my gutters, ripped a light down and stuck it back with screws with out telling us. He does not tarp your yard and feels the clean up is your responsibility. I would not use this company. He damaged my home and feels he has no responsibility. I have a roof that has not been installed to the manufactures specifications, The manufacture sent a certified rep to my home to inspect.

They showed up when they said they would. They got stopped in the middle for a torrential downpour with hail. That was unfortunate. They were able to finish up after. Done in one day. There were a couple of minor flaws in the work which were attended to, personally, within a day or two by Greg Campbell. The issues were fixed, no problem. It looks great . Very happy with the work. Clean-up was pretty good, but for a few weeks after, I kept finding old roofing nails and small pieces of tar paper here and there in the yard.

I realize we are getting to the point where we are probably going to soon need a new roof, but over the years he has stood behind his work 100 percent. There have been a few times when we fully expected to pay for his time, but never have we paid for anything. We would not consider using anyone else. I urge you not to go with those companies that prote the idea that they can get your insurance company to fix roof damage you didn't know you had. In the end, such companies often unfairly put a financial cost on the insurance company that ends up on the backs of those who pay premiums. If you have legitimate claims, that's one thing... Greg Campbell specifically does not do business that way.

Project was seamless. Gregg Campbell came out within a day of initial call to give an estimate which I received the same day. Workmen showed up on time and completed the job in one day. I called Gregg regarding a small piece of plastic waving off the one side of the roof. He went out within an hour and personally cut it off. Gregg was easy to work with and he has insurance and worker's comp. which shows me he values his employees. Would definitely use Campbell roofing again.

Greg Campbell was great to work with. He has installed roofs for family members which is one of the reasons I chose him to do mine. He waited until proper temperature to do the roofing job. There was some clean up issues missed but nothing too major (I found a couple nails/shingle scraps in yard). I would def. use Greg again for a roofing job. Great price and great to work with.

They were honest, prompt, forthright. I believe the work done was quality. It was done in a timely fashion, good cleanup by the crew. I was just generally quite happy with what they did.

It went well because once he got to the opening it was full of bees and honeycomb which helped cause the problem. He killed the bees with spray and cleaned every thing out before nailing the siding down. This happened at 90 degrees temperature.

He showed up on time and checked the water spots before climbing up on the roof. He found that there was a blockage of debris in one of the valleys and swept it out for me. He indicated that the shingles should be in good shape for another few years so I'll wait for the next big rain to see if sweeping out the debris actually fixed the current problem. Thanks!!

Campbell's did an excellent job replacing my roof Greg was very professional and honest. His team cleaned up after they were finished and couldn't even tell they had been there other than nice new roof. I would not hesitate to call them in the future if needed.

Greg Campbell gave us a great price, more than 30% below other quotes. A big selling point was that they have permanent crews -- not just any worker they might pick up. Crew was prompt and went to work immediately at 8 a,m, They were courteous and neat, picking up all the debris from the day's work.

This was an investment property and Greg had also replaced the roof on our house a few years prior. Very professional, timely, neat. No concern for undocumented workers being on the crew. Nailed, not stapled roof. This was a two day job and a second great experience wth Campbell roofing.

We first called Greg Campbell after a hurricane-force wind storm blew several shingles off our roof. My brother-in-law, an architect, had used Campbell Roofing for his roof replacement and was extremely pleased. We were out of town at the time of the storm, but Greg Campbell responded immediately and replaced the shingles the following day. We told him we would likely replace the entire roof within the next few months and wanted him to bid. Even though we made no long-term commitment, Greg charged us $0 for the roof patch. That said a lot about his character, given the fact that he could have gotten top dollar because of all the damaged roofs in the community resulting from the storm. When we were ready to purchase a new roof, gutters & gutter guards, we asked Greg to bid. His bid was within a few dollars of another local roofer who had been recommended by our neighbors. We were happy to award the job to Campbell Roofing. Greg made several trips to the house with samples of shingles, gutters, etc. to help us with the decision. Once the work began, it was seamless. The workers were pleasant and they were neat. We have a dog and were worried that there might be a lot of debris on the ground. That was not the case. They cleaned up thoroughly before they left every day. Fast forward to March 2012: Ever since the roof/gutters were installed 2 years ago, we had noticed that there was excessive run-off where the main house connects with the garage whenever it rained heavily. We had intended to call Greg back to let him know about it, but life got in the way and we didn't follow up. On March 9, 2012, I called and asked if he could come by to take a look at the area, fully expecting to pay him for any additional work that needed to be done. He came by the next day and determined that another lengthy piece of pipe should be added to help redirect the water away from the problem area. One of his workers came back a few days later to install the new pipe. When I asked Greg to send us the invoice, he advised us that there was no charge. His exact words were "it was my roof so it was my problem" - even though we were negligent in letting him know that there was a problem. In summary, we will tell all our friends about Campbell Roofing. Not only is the quality of their work excellent, but the integrity of the owner, Greg Campbell, is extraordinary. He truly cares about his reputation.

They were very good and were very professional. They gave me the right quote. I would rate them high across the board and I would use them in the future.

Campbell's crew arrived at the stated time, worked a full day, removing old shingles and other materials, down to the bare wood. They were careful not to uncover more of the roof than they could reshingle before the end of the day, and they went about the work in a very businesslike manner. They were back on time the next day, completed the job in mid-afternoon, and cleaned up after themselves very well. They left no scraps of shingles or stray nails or other trash from the job. During the time they were here, the men took care of their own needs, including warm-up breaks in their trucks, and did not disturb us (other than the noise of the work going on over our heads) unless they needed to give us some information. We did not get a second estimate on the job, although our grown children urged us to do that. When Mr. Campbell came before Christmas to inspect the roof and look at the leaks we knew about, he impressed us with his detailed inspection and especially the fact that he caulked the several leaks he found so we would stay dry until he could schedule the full job. It was clear he knew his craft and was interested in helping and not just signing another job.

We had used Mr. Campbell for a previous leak. He kept his commitment on date and time before, and we have never had an issue with the repair he made. That is the reason we called him back this time. He came and spent 45 - 50 minutes in labor, along with materials and made the reapir. He was here when he said he would be here...same as the last time we called for his services. We have not had any further issue with this repair. I personally have never met Mr. Campbell, but I have talked to him on the phone. He earned these ratings from my wife. If I don't have to come back and call a service provider back for missing a date/time or quality, that is icing on the cake. Because of his service and quality, we would recommend Campbell to others in need of roof repair.
