Jerrod and Josh did a great job. The deck hasn't looked this good in many years. Great attention to detail. They did more than we contracted.

The service went pretty well. They did exactly what the deal stated. One technician came out and completed the job in about 3-4 hours. They came back the next day to put the sealant on. He was friendly but not very professional looking. I thought the pricing was fair for the job that was done. I had no problem scheduling the deal. He did show up a few hours late to the appointment, however.

They came and the weather was an issue, but they were very patient. They weren't able to finish because I was having some family issues. They were just so kind about it. I hope to have them back out to finish the job, although they did what I paid for. They worked quickly, quietly, and weren't messy. I would definitely have them back again.

It went very well. He was professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. He had samples and gave a quote on site. He also had pictures of work he had done to give me some ideas. The price was a little high so I’m going to get some more quotes.

The service provider responded within minutes of my initial request for an estimate and came out to assess the project and offer a proposal. That same day I accepted the proposal. The work was scheduled to start in five days. The workers arrived as promised on the scheduled day and completed the work in a timely fashion in two days. The finished product exceeded my expectations.

I called Building Character 9/25/14. I spoke to Jared the owner. I told him I needed an estimate on deck repair. We set up the appointment the next day. He gave me a very fair estimate. He said he could do the job 9/29/14. When they got here 9/29/14. There was no wasting time. They completed the job to my satisfaction. I believe they added an extra touch to the work. I wanted a cap for my chimney because we don't have a wood stove anymore. He made a bird house cap to fit over the chimney. All the work they did I feel I got a good deal. He drove 70 miles one way to do this job. That tells me he's willing to travel to get the job. I will hire again.

They were able to schedule within a week of calling. They arrived on time and finished the next day. Everything went smoothly.

I had issues with not knowing there was an extra cost because my deck was located on the second floor. This would have doubled the cost of what I paid for the deal. It would have been helpful to know this deck height restriction in the fine print of the deal, or when I talked to Jared to schedule the appointment. If i had know this information at that time, I would have not bought this deal.

It looks great. It looks like a brand new deck! Jared was very attentive and spent 4 days at my house. It was a bigger project than first envisioned. He took the time and paid attention to detail to do it right. He was punctual, and thorough and he only recommended things that he thought I needed. The work will add years of beauty to my deck. I am very happy with their service and would definitely recommend them.

Jared did an outstanding job. He called an setup an appointment time and day. He met with me and discussed my options in correcting the roof also he thoroughly explained what was necessary to fix the problem. He then returned with materials needed and resolved my roof problem. Jared, called or Texted when he was coming and when he would be there. He was meticulous in the powerwashing of the decks and the prep work. Both decks look great. Would use him again if need arises.

Jared gave me the best price of 3 estimates. He was very friendly and workable to doing what I wanted. He was there everyday and all day until the job was complete. He did a great job!! My deck and addition is more then I imagined, its beautiful! I couldn't be more pleased by the quality of the work and how quick they move. Thank you Jared!

Jared and crew built a wooden ramp on my mothers house allowing her to access the yard again. She had been wanting a ramp for years but could never afford it, but when we met with Jared and he gave us the price we knew it was a good deal so we went with him. Overall, the project went just like he said it would, done in a day and exactly the width and length she wanted and ON BUDGET! At the price he quoted us, I thought for sure he was going to try to get some extras but he did not. Great company and I would recommend them to anyone.

Jared made sure that all of the details of the deck were perfect. I could tell he had done this many times before. They installed the beam and it was perfectly level. He had me look at the level and asked me if I was happy with the posts and beam and explained to me what he was going to do next. I was very pleased about that because he really does care what his customers think about his work and his work quality. I give Jared an EXCELLENT rating. He did the job like he said it would be done and it was done on time. So if you want a nice deck, I would strongly refer him to anyone. My deck is perfect! Thanks Jared!
