Block Tite of Cincinnati

Great to work with from the initial contact through installation. Professional, friendly, courteous with good pricing. From the time I made the inquiry to installation was less than one week! They also problem solved for a "challenge" window that had an existing fan vent. The style of block recommended looks great with the limestone exterior. All debris was cleaned up inside and out.

It was great. They came when they said they were going to come. They did what I wanted them to do. I chose them over the others because simply because I liked the way they were going to hold the glass locks in place.

Very pleased with how great they look and it stops the drafts. They contacted me very soon after I purchased the deal thru Angie's list and within a week the windows were installed. The representative was very professional and informative. There were no high pressured sales pitches for upgrades or additional windows. I knew the price upfront when I purchased the deal, and then there was just a small additional fee for the dryer vent. It was all done very reasonably and now I love the look of my windows and feel more secure.

I was unaware of monetary fund that was provided due to the left glass issue. Review updated.

Service was prompt (ordered on Thursday, measured on Friday, installed on Saturday). Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional. All mess was cleaned up. Would definitely recommend!

Installer arrived as promised and was courteous and professional. Had everything ready to go when he arrived and was out of here within an hour. No mess left and was careful when removing refuse from basement and walking thru the house. Josh was the craftsman and he did a super job. We're very please with the work and the price was as quoted. No surprises except with the quick job performed.

I worked with Rob at time of estimate/consult and scheduling. I originally scheduled to have two windows put in on opposite sides of the house and a dryer vent in another. Three days before the appointment, to best work with furnace installation, I needed to change my order for one window to not have the vent and instead have an open block for furnace ventilation. Rob worked with me to ensure I was pleased with the services and on day of installation, the two men Josh and Zach were courteous and efficient. The work was done in a timely manner and is of quality.

Prompt response to request for scheduling an estimate. Informed me that I needed to remove security grates before being able to complete the estimate or schedule, though didn't have any referrals for doing the work. Company called the day of work scheduled to keep me informed of arrival time, due to the need for a larger crew of installers to complete the larger job. Happy with the finished product, however... I had read the previous reviews with concerns about leaving behind a mess and thought the company had resolved those issues. I can appreciate the mess that is created from deconstructing existing windows in an older home (i.e. plaster, concrete, old wood frames); the crew did a satisfactory job of clearing away this debris. My complaint is with the mess they left from the installation of the mortar, including overspray of mixing liquid and the sludge left in utility sinks below the window, which are now nearly clogged. Taking 5 minutes before starting the work to cover the immediate surroundings would've resolved the issue--I would've been happy to do this if only they'd forewarned me, or if the salesman doing the estimate had given me some instructions on how to prepare.

It was reasonable and the work was worth the price.

The entire process was quick and smooth. From the day I called to get an estimate to the day of installation was about 5 days, which included a weekend. Everyone I had contact with was polite and efficient

This could not have been any smoother. Got an immediate response regarding the initial estimate, which was performed while I was at work. Scheduling the actual installation (on a Saturday, no less!) was smooth. Installer arrived exactly on time, and the job was done in about four hours, give or take. Out the door price was exactly what the estimate was. That price, by way, reflects one free vent via an Angie's List printable coupon. Paid over the phone by credit card the following Monday. Super easy. Every single person I dealt with was extremely courteous and professional. A fantastic experience!

We are very satisfied with everything. It was the first time they did work for us. Everything was top notch, as expected and it was all good. Their price was lower than everybody else.

We contacted the company online and asked for an estimate. They responded right away and came out to give an estimate on Friday , 6/13/14. The windows were installed on Saturday the 14th! The process went smoothly from beginning to end. Both the gentleman who gave the estimate and the person who installed the windows were punctual and professional. Both of them called on the day they were coming to let us know they were on their way. They were both extremely polite. The installation went smoothly and the windows are great. We like the fact that mortar is used to install and fit the windows. (We understand that that is not the case with other companies.) We feel a lot safer. We would definitely use this company again.

We were very impressed with the responsiveness of the president of Block Tite of Cincinnati. He initiated contact with us to address our concerns. He handled the issue professionally and promptly. We were impressed at how he sincerely stood behind his product and would not accept anything less than the best! He also told us not to hesitate contacting him in the future if any problems arise. We will definitely recommend this company to others.

Only one installer was needed. He did an excellent job that did not take very long and when he had completed the job, he cleaned up afterwards. Our new windows not only provide security, they keep the basement cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Block-Tite did a great job. The estimator came to our house the next day after we called them. The windows were installed the following week. They look good and the price was competitive. I referred then to my daughter who also hired them to install block windows.

They were quick to respond on the phone to my initial call. They arrived to install the windows in that same week and they did a great job. The windows look great and the windows helped stop our basement from window water leaks. Prior to my new blocktite windows, severe storms in our area, at times, inundated the drains in our basement window wells. The windows have helped solve that problem and they look really pretty. There are several choices of patterns to choose from in these types of window glass. The installer was personable and well informed about the product. He cleaned up all the installation mess and the product looks very nice on the inside and outside.

Everything was communicated clearly, scheduling was easy and installation went without a hitch. We did have to delay the installation a day due to truck issues for one of the installers, but they communicated the problem proactively and got the work done the following day, on a Saturday, which worked out just as good for our schedule.

Set appointment for a quote to replace two basement windows. Called 30 min before appointment to let us know they were on there way. Looked at job showed us types of glass blockwindows, provided a quote. Set up an appointment for service two days later. Service man also called 30 min prior to arriving to let us know he was on the way. Was very nice and professional. Job was done/completed nicely within the time frame quoted. I would us this company again.

The work was completed in a timely and efficient manner. The only knock was that the cleanup was not done as well as it should have been done. We found that the area around a few of the windows had broken glass from the removal that was not cleaned up, and around the outside of one window a fair amount of mortar from the original window was not cleaned up.

I first got an estimate from a man who was very honest and didn't try to upsell me any of his products. He showed me their full line of windows and was the only company who was willing to work around at that time would have been a wood-burning stove pipe chimney that went through one of the windows. In fact, he was going to give me that window for free. When we finally decided to go with Block Tite, we had decided to get rid of the wood-burning stove as part of the basement remodel and put a full window in where only a half would be. Block Tite honored their original bid on the job! The workers showed up when we expected them and worked hard and fast. They kind of twisted the outdoor part of the chimney that was still attached to the outside wall and actually goes through my roof (so I need it to stay in place until I replace my roof), but other than that, the windows look amazing, I feel safer and the basement is much more comfortable. Great honest American company! I highly recommend them and made sure to give their contact info to my basement contractor because of how easy they were to work with.

The basement looks better, is better ventilated, and more secure.
