We hired Lanny, but then two high school kids show up. Very sloppy work, they painted latex over the old oil paint, and it ended up streaking. Paint got on the door hinges and floor.
Description of Work: Painted doors and interior trim (e.g. baseboards).

ON TIME, POLITE. RUSHED THROUGH THE JOB, DID NOT THOROUGHLY PAINT THE SURFACES (OLD SURFACE STILL SHOWS THROUGH IN SOME AREAS). DID NOT VACUUM OLD PAINT SANDINGS, WHICH THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO BEFORE I HIRED THEM. DID NOT SAND DOWN AREAS ENOUGH TO CREATE A SMOOTH SURFACE TRANSITION. DID NOT USE THE EXACT PAINT USED IN OTHER AREAS OF THE HOUSE (THEY PREFERRED LATEX, OVER THE OIL I HAVE USED ELSEWHERE. TOLD ME THE RISK OF LEAD EXPOSURE WAS BLOWN OUT OF PROPORTION BY THE MEDIA.
