Description of Work: I contacted them to seal my driveway. They came out within a few days and then sent me an email. I accepted and they performed the work within a week or so. Punctual, professional, good quality and excellent customer service.

Description of Work: Black Dawg sealed my blacktop driveway. Filled all cracks and sealed with Brewer Coat. I had a very small last minute window I wanted to complete this. Asked through there website for a bid. Got a call couple days later with specifics. Two days after that I had a bid. Emailed Molly in regard to a coupon I had and possible scheduled dates. Confirmed coupon price from her in 30 minutes with two possible dates in the next week. Very happy with their ability to accommodate so quickly. Wanted to meet the team but they were done and gone by the time I got there. The two people I dealt with at Black Dawg were professional and courteous. All in all pleasantly surprised and satisfied.

Description of Work: I had seen several examples of Black Dawg Sealcoat's work on some residential driveways in my area, and thought they did good work, so I called for a quote. Ed Birk, the local rep. for Black Dawg Sealcoat, arrived at the agreed upon time to check out our 15 yr. old 1400 sq. ft. driveway. He said it wasn't necessary for me to be present, but I wanted to point out the wider cracks and rough spots I was particularly concerned about. Our driveway was sealed 4 yrs. ago, and Ed assured me that the cracks and rough areas, where old sealer had flaked off, would be addressed. | Within a few days I called back to accept his quote, and to see if they would honor a 10% off coupon I had found. The 10% lower price was accepted, and our job was scheduled to be done within two weeks. Later the same day, I was told that a crew would be in our neighborhood tomorrow, and our job would be done then; well ahead of schedule. | The next day a large box truck with a three man crew arrived about 1:00 PM. The crew leader was thankful that I had edged the lawn only two days earlier, so they could skip that part of the job. | First, liquid crack filler was poured on all but the very smallest cracks, and was then pushed into the cracks with a V shaped squeegee. Next, sealer was applied around the perimeter with a wide straight squeegee, while care was taken not to splash sealer on the side of the house foundation adjacent to the driveway. Then, a heavy coat of sealer was applied by spraying, over the remaining center areas. The crew members worked well together and got the job finished in about an hour and a half. | It has been two months since the sealer was applied, and overall we are very pleased with the nice dark black appearance of our newly sealed driveway. However, some of the filler in the 1/8" - 3/16" wide cracks is showing signs of separation and cracking.

I felt sorry for the men who worked on our driveway because that week was extremely hot, but with cool drinks and some short breaks they completed the job and still had others to do. They were all gentlemen, professional, and were careful not to make a mess. We are pleased with the job they did and would recommend them.
