Best Appliance Service Today

This guy is absolutely terrible... he tried to charge me $100 for a $20 part, and then he said he would come back on Monday to finish the job (I already paid him) and he NEVER CAME BACK. He blocked my number and will not respond to my emails. I would never recommend this guy to anybody. STAY AWAY. Needless to say, my dryer never got fixed. Thanks a lot, man. :-/

He said I would be better off buying a service waranty. I paid over $400.00. He did not complete the repair and is now not returning my phone calls. I would warn anyone to steer clear from this company. I am still trying to get my money back.

I called another company and they kept putting me on hold and finally I hung up. Day's Appliance is also known as Same Day Appliance. They said that apparently whoever had fixed it the last time didn't fix it and just stuck the wires back in. He said that he was going to have to order the parts and the charge for that was $160 to repair everything. His service call was $69, so I figured I was only into the guy for $239. He said that for $300 total, he would give me a 24-month warranty on all my appliances. That included the washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator and stove. I went with the blanket coverage. I waited all day for him to come and he said that the parts truck was in an accident. He doesn't call you, but he says that you can call him to find out what is going on. He came the next day with the parts and put them on. He ran it through a cycle and it didn't work. Then he said that he was going to need another part that he would go get. It would stop on certain speeds. He said that if I would keep switching the speeds, I could do some laundry. I did four loads of wash and then it shut down completely. Then it needed another control part that he had to get. I waited, and waited and waited for him. He had come in the morning and never showed up in the afternoon. I finally got hold of him in the afternoon and he said that he was at some other house and their dog had died. He said that it was such a bad situation that he couldn't come. I thought what a lame excuse. The next day there was snow, but it was less than 1/2 an inch ( just a dusting) and he called and said that there was too much snow and he had to wait on the salt truck because he couldn't get out. I had just been out walking my dog for 2 1/2 miles. There were no school delays or anything. He said he would come in the afternoon. He didn't show up until my wife complained. He said that another part was needed and because that was the third part, according to his warranty he would provide us with a machine that was newer than what we had. All I had to pay was for delivery charges. He was supposed to bring it on Saturday and I had to go out of town. I told him to bring it Monday morning and they never showed up. I had to end up going to a laundromat. Two men in a pick up truck came the next morning with a machine that wasn't new. One of the guys smelled like alcohol, but the other guy was really working hard. I ended up helping because the one guy was just whining and complaining. The other guy was extremely kind. They wanted $50 for the delivery and took the old washer. I gave the guy that worked a $5 tip. The machine works right now and I haven't talked to Day Appliance since. I won't fool with him even though I have the warranty on the other appliances. You always get a recording and he never calls back.
