Benjamin Franklin Plumbing - Cincinnati

Paid a service fee for the company to provide me an estimate for plumbing work. Technician came by promptly and provided a high level generic estimate & I was told I would received a detailed break down via email. Technician collected the service fees & was told that i should receive my email shortly. Repeated follow ups have yielded no response. Terrible experience.

Horrible experience. Ben Franklin Plumbing incorrectly installed an exterior faucet spicket at our home late Fall 2020. faucet pipe burst 1st time used in late March 2021 during 60 degree weather. Caused major damage to our interior home. Ben Franklin refused to respond when called they say state they are open 24/7. Ben Franklin plumbing then refused to honor warranty from install on parts & labor. Accused us of not knowing how to use the faucet (we are 40 yr homeowners). Plumber who came to fix stated failure was due to incorrect installation by Ben Franklin Plumbing. Reason why we started using Ben Frankling Plumbing was ownership by Direct Energy who also owns Willis One Hour Heating for our HVAC. We have been with One Hour Heating for 20 years, they are great. Ben Franklin Plumbing is NOT.

I called in the morning when I found out my water heater bit the dust. They came our the same day and installed the new water heater. They technicians were very nice and polite. Very professional. Techs were courteous, clean, and were able to innovate my install to work around some unforeseen issues. Gas lines installed, now waiting for the county inspection and then Ben Franklin will install the tankless water heater.

I was very upset with this company as they did not fix my problem or diagnose it correctly. They then sent the same plumber out for a second time and the problem was not resolved. I posted my disappointment on Home Advisor. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing then sent a master plumber who found the problem and corrected it at no additional expense. I am now very please and would recommend them as they were not satisfied until we were satisfied.

The person who came to fix our plumbing problem did not fix our plumbing problem even though he charged us $207. He also used our guest towels to clean up dirty water from the floor of our bathroom. We will have to replace the towels and have another plumber take care of our problem!

Great customer

I contracted this company to remove bathroom caulk and replace. Caulk was not removed, it was smeared and clumped in corners. I could go on, it was just bad! I suggest you reconsider if you are thinking of hiring Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. Photos were sent to verify my complaint however I have not received a return call.

Figured out our ongoing problem when other repairman could not. He took the time to explain what was needed to be done.
