BEDROCK HOME INSPECTION

Inspection was for house seller as a guide to repair work to prepare a house for sale. Steve arrived a few minutes early, spent over 2-1/2 hours walking us through the inspection, explaining what he observed, patiently answering questions, making recommendations. He seemed quite thorough. Afterwards he spent more time discussing the overall condition of the house and recommendations for repairs we should make. He delivered a comprehensive report by the end of the day, detailing everything he observed, summarizing marginal and defective items. A couple of the defects he noted turned out not to be a problem when we brought in repair specialists to address items. We consider that to be a minor issue, it's unreasonable to expect anyone to be a specialist in all areas. We were satisfied with his review and report, and valued his comments and recommendations. We expect that a buyer will use another inspector, and there will be some differences, no two inspectors will identify the same issues. However we feel comfortable that we know what the important issues are, that there won't be any surprises.
