Description of Work: Steve was amazing - from my first call to a follow-up visit. It is rare to find someone like Steve who will pick up the phone when you call or call you right back. I think he even answered his cell phone while up in the trees one day! I received other estimates that ranged from minimally cheaper to nearly 4x what Steve charged. He spent time with me walking around my property and shared what he would do and how he would do it. He proceeded to complete the job within a week - ahead of schedule! Other tree services said it would be several months before they could complete my job. I have nothing but positive feedback for what Steve / Beaver Tree Service did for me.

Description of Work: During the rain/wind storm late Wednesday afternoon, the top of a large tree fell onto the electric line from the pole to my house tearing the line from the attachment point on the house but not knocking out the electrical service. Thursday morning I had just fired up my trusty chain saw when the Beaver Tree Service truck stopped in front of the house. The rep asked if I wanted them to cut up and dispose of all the mess. I asked the price, which I felt to be very reasonable and turned the job over to them. They completely removed and ground up all the limbs, branches and general mess in about 10% of the time it would have taken me and surprise of surprises, they cleaned up the area much better than any tree service I have ever utilized. I was most satisfied and would definitely use their services again.

 + -1 moreThe estimate was prompt. Bids ranged from $1,750 to $3,100. They came the week they said they would, called in the morning to confirm. They brought a cherry picker, crane and chipper. They did what they said they would. Cleaned up well. Four days later I got a bill for exactly what they quoted on their estimate.
Description of Work: Remove 1 large ash & 2 cherry trees, surface grind stumps.

 + -1 moreI had extensive tree damage during the storm that hit a month before Hurricane Ike came through, and they were able to come out the same day that I called to give me an estimate for insurance. Their estimate was the best that I received, and they also suggested that I wire the limbs of a white pine right next to my house, and believe me, I was glad they did that before we got hit with Hurricane Ike!
Description of Work: Took down three large trees (2 Osage Oranges and a Hawthorn) that came down during a storm, also ground the stumps and hauled everything away.

 + -1 moreWe selected Beaver Tree because of their excellent reputation and the favorable reports found on Angie's List. Beaver Tree lived up to their reputation and did an outstanding, professional job. They started the job on time and finished ahead of schedule. And, they were meticulous in the final pruning of other trees in our yard and cleaned up all debris. We can't even tell there was ever a tree where that one stood. Excellent work BEAVER TREE!
Description of Work: We had a "5-man", 200 year old oak tree that needed to be removed from our property. The tree has leaned over our home for the past 25 years (home built in 1981) providing shade and beauty to our landscape. However, once we learned that there was significant decay in the base and roots, and that the tree had to be removed, we "shopped" for a tree service.

 + -1 moreBruce (Job foremen) was excellent. Multiple trees were taken down, and he gave advice on trees to take and those to leave. I would highly recommend him, and I will ask for him by name if I need another job done.
Description of Work: Multiple trees were cleared from the property. Brush was also removed and chipped. Work was done promptly and efficiently. 3-4 men worked each day for three days. Most trees were medium in size, but several large trees were dropped from the top down. I would highly recommend, and if we need additional work done, I will hire them in the future.

SINCE SO MUCH TIME HAD GONE BY SINCE WE GOT OUR QUOTE, MY WIFE APPROACHED STEVE TO ASK AGAIN ABOUT DOING THE WORK. STEVE SNAPPED BACK SOME NONSENSE ABOUT HAVING ALREADY GIVEN US A QUOTE, THEN TURNED AND WALKED AWAY. HE WAS RUDE AND INSULTING; GOOD THING WE DIDN'T PAY HIM ANYTHING. I RECOMMEND FINDING SOMEONE ELSE TO DO YOUR TREE WORK.
