The chairs were delivered well within the time limit. Delivery was easy to set up and crew did a fine job. These chairs were not available locally so it was a pleasant surprise to find a full line Bassett store within reach. The staff was great and we were given weekly updates on the chairs build and delivery progress. We could not find a problem with this purchase or the way the staff and store worked with us.

We worked with Amanda, and she was very friendly and not pushy. She told us our furniture would arrive in about 2 weeks, and it was actually more like 3-4. The store advertises free interior decorating, so I asked her to come out to the house. She did come out to the house and took a bunch of measurements. I discussed additional pieces of furniture I was looking to buy and asked her to come back with a layout for those pieces and color suggestions. I thought she listened well and was open to my ideas. My only complaint is that she did not follow through on the layout. Once she figured out that the pieces from her store wouldn't work in our room, I never heard from her again. I don't have time to follow-up with people, so I guess my business really wasn't that valuable to her.

The whole process has been a complete nightmare. We ordered our furniture on February 18th, 2006 and were promised it would be delivered during the first week of April 2006 ( which is when we were moving in to a house we were building.) Terry, the store manager, called 3 weeks prior to the scheduled delivery to confirm delivery on April 4, 2006. On April 3rd., we called to confirm delivery and were told our furniture hadn't come in yet. We once again talked to Terry who was not the least bit apologetic or accommodating. We told them to cancel the order and were told we couldn't. After demanding our delivery fee be refunded, he hesitantly agreed. 2 more weeks went by and no word from the store. We talked to Terry twice and were told the furniture was in and it wasn't. Long story short, we talked to 2 people from this store, the district mgr. And the operations mgr. from the Corporate office and they were all rude, unapologetic, etc. It is 5/15/06 and we are still waiting.
Description of Work: We purchased 2 coffee tables, 3 end tables, a large entertainment center and 1 sofa table.

I HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE SALES PERSON, HELENA WORKED WITH ME ON COLORS AND EVEN SENT ME A SAMPLE OF THE FABRIC TO DETERMINE MY PAINT AND ACCESSORIES.
