The service technician was on time and courteous, he was also very knowledgeable about the sprinkler system. The visit was short and I was very satisfied with the work provided. Backflows Unlimited also offered the cheapest price for the test of the four companies I found since it included the $25 fee to Warren County.
Description of Work: Tested Backflow Preventer and handled all of the county paper work for Warren County. He also installed the backflow preventer for me for $15 which brought the total to $114.99.

They came to my house to perform the annual backflow inspection, which is required, by the county for sprinkler systems. They were prompt, and got down to work, but immediately told me the unit may need to be replaced. Upon inspection it was determined the valve that screws onto the backflow preventer was cracked and leaking water. He said they could be cracked when they are winterized if someone did not winterize the sprinkler system properly and left some water in the unit. When I advised him I take the unit off and put it in my basement then he put a new valve on the unit, and finished the test. The unit passed and the new valve cost me $25, which is a bit more than it would cost at a supply place, but he had one on his truck. I'm skeptical as the valve should not of been broken as I winterize the unit, however things do happen and the same company successfully tested a backflow unit at my workplace with no problems. I'll probably give them a second chance next year as they were still less than less than I had been previously paying, but will watch them closely next year.
Description of Work: Annual back flow test required by the county for anyone having a properly permitted sprinkler system in Hamilton County, Ohio. A back flow device keeps contaminated water from back flowing into your home and public water supply by discharging the water out of the back flow device. If installed inside your home you must keep it near a drain to avoid the possibility of a flooding your home. If the unit is properly permitted then you get a discount of the sewer charges from Cincinnati Water Works.
