Description of Work: Removed a broken shut-off valve, capped water line to be removed, lit pilot light on water heater, adjusted valve for washing machine to stop leak. | |Very prompt and courteous. Great service, and very knowledgable. Gave me information to assist in purchasing a new sink so I would have the correct size. |Will schedule them to come back and install it when it arrives.

Description of Work: Needed a quote to replace shower fixtures due to low water flow. He could have quoted what I asked for and made a lot more money. however, he did some investigation and found he could improve the water flow without a huge project. Very honest and helpful guy....!

Description of Work: He arrived even earlier than promised, overhauled a worn out toilet, and fixed a Delta Monitor shower & tub faucet without having to replace the cartridge. Thoroughly professional, and the dog liked him. I will definitely use B & D Plumbing again.

Description of Work: Tom was wonderful! He did a great job explaining the issue and what was needed to fix it. He explained the options that we had and gave his opinion. I really liked that he wanted us to make a knowledgeable decision! He even went further to discuss a sound we had with a sump pump in our basement. Will we call Tom back to work on any other projects? Your darn right we will!! He is great!! Punctual, professional, and friendly. All the things that make a business successful!

Description of Work: A toilet fill valve was not working right. Tom came out and checked the toilet. He determined the problem to be in the pressure regulator was not working properly. The shut off valve did not shut the water off. So he would have to have the water turned off to change the shut off valve, then repair the regulator. We called the water company and the next day when they came out to shut off the water from the road, Tom was here, and changed the shut off valve while they were here, then the water company turned the water back on. He made everything work smoothly. He changed the shut off valve, regulator, and fixed the toilet.

Description of Work: Cleaned all drains, fixed leaks in all areas of house, checked all inside plumbing and made adjustments, fixed leak in powder room tank.

+ -1 moreWhen Tom came out to give us an estimate, he explained in detail why the hot water heater was not working properly, and gave us an estimate in writing before he left. His price was very good compared to other estimates we received. We called to schedule the job, he scheduled within a few days and arrived at 9:00 am as scheduled. He had everything needed and started work without any questions. Since he had to take the drain apart in the kitchen, he noticed a lot of build up in the drain, so he cleaned that out. Tom cleaned up after himself and took all the old parts with him. He showed me things I needed to know about the hot water heater. Everything he worked on is in great working order.
Description of Work: Changed hot water heater, replaced kitchen faucet and drain because of a leak, repaired toilet running, and repaired water spicket handle that was leaking.
