Overall they were very good.

I called Auer Kitchens because about 30-35 years age they remodeled my next-door neighbor's kitchen and did a fantastic job. I guess the next generation does not have the same work ethic as the one that did the work years ago. We knew they would be more expensive than most other "big box" stores but were willing to pay the higher price because of their reputation. We are extremely disappointed.

This project was amazing! I can not say enough great things about the Auer Kitchens team. From the first meeting with Cathy (designer), it went really well. She came and took exact measurements and then created a design that gave us everything we could have wanted for such a small space. Every single person that enters our kitchen now comments on how well the space is used. The contstruction team was just as great. They did an outstanding job of trying to minimize dust and dirt throughout our house. I work from home and they did a really good job of trying to make sure that was not a problem as well. I completely trusted the staff and was never concerned. The craftsmanship of everything they worked on was great. Joe, our foreman, always did an outstanding job of making sure I knew what to expect and thoroughly checked over everything on a weekly, if not daily, basis. Each person was pleasant and easy to work with.

From start to finish, they did a terrific job. I could not be more pleased with the workmanship and customer service. Matt Auer designed the space and did a terrific job. He listened carefully to what we wanted and came up with a plan to get us the kitchen we were hoping for. Emily helped us pick out our cabinetry which we are very happy with. The construction crew was terrific. Even though we were not living in the home at the time, they were meticulous in their clean up every day. The space was sealed off and each day, all of the tools were put away and the area was cleaned as much as possible. The entire crew came dressed professionally, in Auer Kitchen polo shirts and clean clothes. We were able to be out of the house for a limited time and they did absolutely everything they could to come in on time without any sacrifice. Everything about the team was professional and courteous. Mark Auer was in charge of the construction process and he did a great job keeping us well-informed of the progress being made. When the job was done, all of the manuals for the appliances were put into folders and left for us in a box. There were a few minor things that needed to be fixed after construction was finished. The microwave was dented and a refrigerator door had a little scratch. When we called, Auer was super responsive, arranging to fix everything very quickly. Their customer service is top notch. Tom, who is in charge of service is fast responsive, and just as professional and great to work with as everyone else. When you work with Auer kitchens, you get top notch customer service, top notch craftsmanship and top notch attention to detail. This is a wonderful family run business that I would work with again in a heartbeat. When we decide to redo our bathroom, they will be our first (and maybe only) call! I highly recommend them.

Company staff was very friendly and professional from start to finish. Was able to accommodate changes during the remodel process and gave wonderful expert opinion on design. Remodel was completed on time and within budget.

They were good in quality and they did a wonderful job. They did a great job in designing and honing in on what you wanted to do. They corrected problems right away. The finished product was great.

We are beyond thrilled with our new space. We started with an outdated, cramped, closed-plan kitchen and dining room and ended up with a dazzling new kitchen with plenty of room for everything I wanted, including an 8-ft. long island and a large table that seats 8-12. Everyone we worked with (Mark, Cathy, Emily and Joe and his crew) was outstanding. The customer service was remarkable from start to finish. We never felt pressured to make changes we weren't comfortable with and we were included in every last detail. If there was something we weren't happy with, they worked with us until we were satisfied. Joe, our foreman, told us every day what would be happening with the work, and if there was a day without activity, he let us know exactly why. We never felt "out-of-the-loop" during any part of the process. We had a really big job (the kitchen was expanded into the dining room, necessitating the removal of a wall and repositioning of plumbing, we expanded the opening between the kitchen and family room, which required the removal of a load-bearing wall, we also remodeled and added a pocket door to a small half-bath on the first floor and the crew was very professional and respectful of our privacy during the remodel. The sub-contractors used by Auer Kitchens (for flooring, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and paint) were just as professional as the Auer crew. I would not change a thing about our new kitchen and we will absolutely use Auer again for other remodeling jobs in our home.

Exceedingly professional. Highest quality, very responsive. Did what they said they were going to do and charged what they said they were going to charge. They were awesome.

Matt Auer provided with a design with several options to save money. He was always very helpful and friendly during the planning process. During the actual demolition and construction phases, Chip was our foreman and Robin did most of the on-site work and organizing. Overall, Auer did a great job of preparing us for each step of the process and generally were good at keeping us informed of what was going to happen next. A few decisions were made without telling or consulting us, to our disappointment. For example, when installing a register in the bottom of a cabinet, they aimed in a direction that made no sense to us. They also decided to take the vent for the fume hood through the roof without warning us. In general, however, they were very careful and did a great job. They were very responsive to our questions and concerns and did a good job of coordinating subcontractors for electrical, plumbing, etc. A good experience, considering it was a major project.

They did an EXCELLENT job on our kitchen. I was very happy with the job that was done and I would hire them again in a second. I felt very safe with the workers in my house. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, PLANNING AND EXECUTION. THERE WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THE WORK WAS DONE ON TIME. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AS WELL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND THEM.
