Upon inspection after the work crew left, I found that they did not paint the gable wood end of the house, and did not paint the porch wood. I called them to return, and the gable end was painted. I was informed that the agreement was only to paint exterior of the house, and the porch was not included. I disagreed, stating that the porch is certainly outside, but they refused to paint the porch. the crew left again. Following the first rainstorm after work was "completed," I noticed that water was flowing between the gutter and the wood, because of a two inch gap between the gutter and the roof. After several phone calls, a crew from Art's placed a metal overhang directing water into the gutter. This seemed to work. Now, about a year later I note that water is not entering the gutter at another location on the same gutter, and the paint is peeling because of this. I have personally talked to two other people who have had similar problems with Art's Roofing.
