The extensive rain and snow we received the last two days proved the work they did fixed my basement water problems. My basement has remained dry.

The AquaProof crew was very knowledgeable and efficient. They carefully excavated and installed over 80 feet of drain line around our rear patio, cut through a sidewalk and installed an additional three foot long drain grate, installed the external sump and pump, and also excavated and installed about another 100 feet of drain pipe to tie into the curb at the street. They were very careful to not damage our telephone and TV cables in their excavations, and did a really good job cleaning up all of the excess dirt and debris from the work-site and restoring our lawn with seed/straw. I was very pleased with their attention to detail and care in their work, which was not easy in mid-November. I waited to write this review until after several heavy local rains, where the new drain system had a real workout. Following the recent heavy rains, there was absolutely no water back-up on our patio or around the workshop doors, as the sump pump efficiently pushed the excess water to the street. I have been very pleased that I no longer have to worry about water in my work-shop, at least as long as we have electricity. This company really knows what it is doing and is worth the price.

We can't say enough positive things about Danny and the crew at Aquaproof! The day we discovered water leaking into the basement, we called Aquaproof, based on their Angie's list reviews. Danny came out and quickly determined that our sump outlet pipe was clogged, causing water to back up into the lawn, which cracked the foundation. He had someone come out that day to disconnect the sump, so that water would drain away from the house. A few weeks later, they returned to replace drainage pipes from downspouts and sump pump, and finally, they came back in November to fix the foundation. We were impressed by the professionalism and pride that every single worker showed us when they were here. The foundation work was completed in two days, and all of our questions were answered courteously by the team working on our home. Before they began working, they laid plastic on the floors throughout the house and into the basement. Even though the work involved jack-hammering concrete in the basement and digging out huge piles of dirt along the outside of our house, they left everything very clean. In addition, Danny Manley looked at more than the obvious water problem. For example, he noticed that the gutter over the front door did not have a valley splash guard to prevent water from spilling down over the door, so he had one of his crew install one at no charge. We would highly recommend Aquaproof to anyone dealing with water problems. They are honest and hard-working and, importantly, are experts in waterproofing and passionate about what they do.

The job was quoted promptly by a knowledgeable person who diagnosed the issue well and recommended proper system. As expected, when the job was done, it was clear that the older system had collapsed the pipes and created the backups. The crew was very punctual and energetic and listened to my needs very well during the process. Despite recent rain, there was little damage done to the yard by the equipment, and all was repaired to my satisfaction. Only one issue arose, which was the cutting of a land phone line for my neighbor. This was not the fault of Aquaproof, but rather the OOPS line marking people as all my lines were marked, but a neighbor's line crossed over into my property near the junction box, and this crossing was not marked. The service to my neighbor was restored same day. My system was sized for a potential phase 2 project next year, and Aquaproof will certainly be in the running for that Job, as their work was done very well.

We're very pleased with the work that was done by AquaProof. The work was completed more quickly than I had anticipated and we would definitely work with them again or recommend them to anyone. As a side note, we had a family emergency that delayed the start of this project and they were extremely accomodating in working with us to reschedule. Thank you to Danny and the entire AquaProof team.

They were very punctual and very knowledgable and skilled at what they do. They got the job done in one day and knew exactly what they were doing. Before they left they went over everything that they did to make sure I was satisfied. I was really happy with the work and have no more water in my basement nor any water pooling. My neighbors were also impressed and requested this companies information so they could get work done.

I needed to have some cracks in my foundation inspected and scheduled a visit with Aquaproof after reading many positive reviews on here. The day of the inspection came and I experienced a medical emergency and was not able to meet the inspector at my house. Normally I am very respectful of other peoples time but on this day I was sitting in an emergency room of a hospital and my mind wasn't on an appointment I was about to miss. As I got home the next day I found several messages from James at Aquaproof all sounding very annoyed that I was not home . His last message he made sure to talk down to me and tell me how rude it was for me to waste his time and gas by having to come out to my house and me not be there to meet him. Well sorry I was at the hospital James seems my priorities are out of whack. I mean really what a jerk I am. If you read through other reviews for this company you will see other mention having VERY negative experiences with James from Aquaproof. He was rude and one of the most UNPROFFESSIONAL people I have ever met. I called the office and asked to speak with the manager so I could let them know that someone like James is out there representing their company in a negative light. After going through the story and expressing how disappointed I was, she then went on to defend James and say its aggravating when people don't show up for their appointments. Well that was a "no duh" moment and I told her I completely understand, however in a service industry you should never take out your frustrations on potential customers. After pretty much blowing off my concerns she then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to reschedule.......ummm no thank you. I hope others have a better experience then I did but if you have the bad luck to have to interact with James you have my sympathy.

Everything went great. I contacted the company via my AngiesList account. I received a call to schedule an estimate within a day or so and was told right off that they were currently scheduling into November/December. We went ahead and scheduled the estimate. We received a quote within a week, signed the contract and made our down payment. We had prior separate bids on the gutters and drains so we knew the amount was competitive. They communicated equally well with my husband and myself at all times. We let them know we could be flexible about scheduling as my husband works from home and they managed to fit us in much earlier than we'd hoped. The start date was pushed back one day but we were told early that day which was appreciated. Work took two days to complete. Luis and his crew were considerate and conscientious. A few worked late the first day to ensure the project wouldn't run over. There was an issue finding the main line to attach the yard drains. They were patient when we asked for time to hear from both the village and county before giving up and doing a curb cut (the only one on our street). The gutter work went smoothly and quickly and functions perfectly. The yard was largely returned to it's prior condition and seed and straw was laid in the areas that had been dug to lay the drain lines. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to others.

After having our new concrete driveway poured, we developed a flooding problem in our garage during heavy rains. We contacted AquaProof and one other company for estimates to this problem . We received a prompt response from AquaProof- the other company didn't show up. James came out and outlined two solutions that I am confident would have solved this issue. However, our driveway contractors decided to try to fix the problem instead of compensating us so that we could hire AquaProof. Should that fix not work, then I would not hesitate to hire AquaProof.

Crew was prompt, worked steadily, and very professional. Luis was the foreman on sight he was informative, courteous, and professional. They all did the job in a timely manner and the work site was completely cleaned when they left.

My basement has flooded 3 times in 6 years -- twice this year -- because water backed up from the walk-out basement's patio drain and ran through the sliding glass doors onto the floor and carpet. I've had big messes to clean up, including replacing carpet, because the patio drain just couldn't stand up to the torrential rainstorms we've been having this summer. After the second time my basement flooded this year, I contacted Aquaproof to see what I could do to end the flooding. I had my house on the market and didn't want the new owners to experience what I had. James came out and developed a great design that used a French drain to keep water and mulch from running over the edges of the patio walls, replaced the inadequate patio drain with a wide slotted one that went the length of the patio, and enclosed a gutter downspout that had been dumping lots of water on the patio and tied it to an underground drainage line. I had a tight budget, so James worked with me to come up with a plan that would solve the flooding problem and meet my financial limit. Originally, Aquaproof was so busy that they weren't going to be able to do the work until September 25. However, they called me last week and said they had some time come open and could come out this week if I wanted. Since I've sold my house and am closing at the end of the month, I wanted to have all the patio drainage work done before the closing. Aquaproof came out on Wednesday, did all the work in one day, and cleaned up and reseeded the grass where they had dug it up. They even used some of the extra dirt to re-grade a section of the yard by the patio that had lost some dirt through the heavy rain. It's pouring cats and dogs tonight. There's a flash flood warning, but my basement is totally dry! Not even a bit of water near the sliding glass doors! It's such a relief!

Very knowledgeable of the situation, prompt, hard working crew and absolutely solved my problem. This has been an ongoing issue for many, many years with no answers. I now do not use sandbags and I don't have to worry when it rains. Great to have peace of mind.

Danny, Brent, and their entire staff have been a pleasure to work with. Once the weather cooperated and work started, it didn't stop. What I thought was going to take a week, took three days. The work encompassed the entire back and side yards. The crew was polite, punctual, and patient with my two big, goofy dogs. The office staff was helpful and patient as the project kept getting pushed back due to the amount of rain we received this summer. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants work that is done in a timely fashion and done right the first time.

After a thorough inspection he found that my problem does not require the very expensive trenching and drainage I thought I needed. He discussed the various remedies I have already done and the signs I would have if I had the moisture problem I thought I had. He checked my foundation, A/C ducts, grading and water retention areas. His advice was not to invest the large sum of money into something I really do not need at this time. I am thankful for him, he could have easily talked me into a very expensive job. I trust his reputation and honesty.

I was surprised that they completed the work on a day when it was raining. There were three workers. They started at 9 AM and finished at 7 PM. It took a lot longer than expected due to the rain. We were not told during our initial consultation with owner Danny that we would be losing a tree. While we understand that it was necessary to remove the tree in order for them to access the crack in the basement, it would have been good to have a heads up. I was also upset that rather than letting me transplant our day lilies, they simply threw them out. Other than the minor landscaping surprises, everything went well. So far we are happy with the work and we are anxiously waiting for our grass to grow back in. If we have any other basement issues, which we will hopefully not, we are definitely calling Danny again.

I cannot speak highly enough of AquaProof and the work they did at our home - they did not just do an excellent job, but they have truly changed our lives. We have had a persistent and significant water problem with our house since we moved in 7 years ago resulting in not only a large amount of damage, but anxiety and frustration with every rain as well. After speaking with several different companies, AquaProof came in and delivered a truly customized solution for our specific issues. We worked with James initially and appreciated his thoughtful and thorough approach to finding the right solution for us, and unlike some competitors, AquaProof didn't engage in high pressure sales tactics. Luis was the foreman for our job and he was excellent - as was the entire crew. They were respectful, thorough, timely and always cleaned up well after they finished working. The AquaProof crew was the hardest working crew I think I've ever experienced - they worked in the snow, rain, sleet, beginning their days first thing in the morning, and working well into the evening in order to meet their deadlines. Any things that came up throughout the duration of the project, AquaProof was quick to address and communicate, and always went the extra mile for customer service. Most importantly - we haven't seen a DROP of water in any area of our home and they've provided us with peace of mind!

I have waited several months to write this review so I could go through the seasons to see how the work I had performed corrected my problem.I live in a cape cod house built in 1952 with an added addition. The old part of the house is on a crawl space the newer addition is on a slab. Over the years the addition has eliminated air flow for the crawl space and the homes being built behind my property has increased water flow to my home moving the earth much higher against the brick than when it was built. The crawl space is accessible like a cellar and I've notice over the last couple of years a musty.earthy smell during spring months before the air conditioning was turned on.Condensation on duct work and pipes was causing them to rust.The earth was uncovered and always damp with the cinder block showing moisture year round. I called five leading water proofing companies in the area. The first company had a beginning inflated price of $17,000 to install drains to the interior and exterior of my house including possibly an air dehumidifier. Several other companies in my opinion wanted to mask the problem by encapsulating the crawl space. On company just wanted to install a new sump pump for $5,000. My aunt recommended Aqua Proof they had stabilized her foundation..They suggested work similar to the highly inflated company but their price started at $13,774. They came down to $12,000. The crew arrived on time on the exact date. The job as very labor intensive. They dug around the exterior of my home down to the footer and applied a sealant to the brick followed by the installation of a drainage system to move water immediately away from my home. They redirected the water from my gutters and installed new drainage pipe to the front and rear of my home. They also installed an interior drainage system to carry the water immediately to the sump pump. They did not recommend any type of encapsulation but I asked James Cline if they could cover the earth with plastic to keep the earthy smell down and possibly use the area for storage. This is the best investment I have ever done for the house. We had several very rainy months which would normally saturate the crawl space. The combination of the drainage systems removes water immediately from the house and all areas are bone dry. The sump pump kicks in and removes any ground water that seeps in. Since using the air conditioning there is no condensation on the duct work and pipes are no longer sweating. I thought the added plastic covering may have been cheaply installed but it is adhered to the wall with a plastic base and makes the area look clean with no odors. The crew had to jack hammer the interior and did everything in their power to control dust. They shut the crawl space door and covered it with plastic to keep the dust down. There will be dust I think its unavoidable but nothing a good house cleaning will not take care of when the job is complete.

Aquaproof converted an open drainage in our property to a pipe drainage covered with top soil. They gave a lot of thoughts to this project and finished this project in a very professional way. After this project was finished, they came back to check it and fixed minor issues for free. This project increases useable area of our lot. We are very happy about their performance.

The crew led by foreman Luis Caballero did a great job - very professional and thorough. Luis explained every step clearly and it was very obvious that this group knew what they were doing. The work was finished in record time. There was no fooling around. Everyone worked hard to complete the repairs. I had blocked the following day to "pick up the pieces" after they left but that was entirely unnecessary - they left our property in better condition than when they came. They landscaped the back with stone and mulch and cleaned up all dirt and debris. This was quite a relief for me since I have a large perennial garden surrounding the work area. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

There was no 'salesman' in my home today! I had a lovely man who came in and spoke no-nonsense honesty to me and my husband. He answered every single question- which ranged from mundane to crazy. Upon our request provided us with the estimates of the 'extreme' waterproofing job and then proceeded to explain- in depth- why that would be costly and potentially unnecessary. He provided us with estimates for more moderate solutions. He walked with us around our home exterior explaining how and why landscaping and proper drainage should be our first solution as it would likely solve our issue and be the most cost effective. What was amazing to us was unlike other contractors/salesman who have recently been in our home to provide free estimates, he wasn't trying to push work on us. He also was not 'passing us over' like some do- you know the type. James was a straight shooter. He knew he didn't need to sell 'time shares in heaven' because his company does honest work. It is that honesty that has guaranteed his company will be the only one that gets our business.

We've experienced slight water penetration in our basement for some time. The amount of water was becoming a fairly regular nuisance and we finally decided to seek a remedy. After interviewing three companies, we decided to go with AquaProof. The owner, Danny Manley, was thorough in his assessment of our situation, always returned our calls promptly and has a lot of experience dealing with foundation issues. Shortly after we signed the contract we were hit with very heavy rains that totally flooded our basement. We had between 1-3 inches of standing water this time around. AquaProof was very accommodating and scheduled the work to begin as soon as possible. Although we hated to part with the money, we feel we got more than we paid for and the entire process was first rate. AquaProof showed up on time with all the equipment and materials needed to complete this project. The 8 man crew was very professional as well as eager to answer any questions we had. When they left the job site, they left it in impeccable condition. AquaProof was not the low bidder on our project but they certainly provided us with an A+ resolution to our flooding problem along with a transferable warranty. Would we choose AquaProof again...you betcha...in a heartbeat!
