Response from AquaProof Inc
[Member name removed]- We are sorry you were dissatisfied with your experience with us. Yes it is true that we have a $2,000 minimum however that is not the reason we were unable to help you with your problem. Tracy spoke with you and explained the difference between a crack injection and a permanent crack repair. You stated that you wanted a crack injection and had a quote already from Jaco but you still wanted to have someone come out. Tracy spoke with Danny our owner and he told her that Jaco does good work and if crack injection is what you were in the market for that you should go with their $350 quote as we do not do crack injections. Tracy called you back and relayed the information from Danny that Jaco would do good work for you on the crack injection. Crack Injection Vs Permanent Crack Repair -Crack injections are done from the inside of the home and are a temporary fix. Some companies offer a short warranty and others do not offer a warranty at all on injections. The crack is injected with a urethane form or silicone from the inside of the basement. Water is still making it's way into your foundation causing damage and overtime the water will break through the injection and come back into your basement. -Permanent Crack Repair are done from the outside of the basement. The crack is dug out to the footer and permanently repaired. This prevents the water from coming into your foundation and stops further damage to your foundation. This repair does cost more than an injection however it is permanent, comes with a Lifetime Warranty, and stops damage to your foundation that a crack injection still allows. (See Project page on our website for demo of permanent crack repair) If you have any other questions I would be happy to answer them for you. I am sorry you were dissatisfied and felt the need to leave this negative review on an issue that AquaProof is unable to help you with. Sincerely Tiffany Gregory
