Description of Work: We had a home up for sale. During a home inspection, there were areas in the crawl space that were suspected of showing water damage. This provider cleaned the suspected areas of mold contamination, sealed the areas, and insulated the crawl space against future leaks. The home then passed the followup inspection and the sale has been completed.

Description of Work: Aquaproof completed an interior waterproofing project along the front basement wall of our house. They put in a trench drainage system as well as a sump pump. They also evaluated and fixed a downspout issue in the front of the house that contributed to the problem. | |While we were scheduled a couple of months out and there was a small last minute date change, they were punctual and responsive. The project finished in one day. They also did a great job of cleaning up after themselves, even with the dust generated from the concrete work. After the project, we found a crack in the PVC pipe leading from the sump pump, and they sent someone out right away to replace it. | |We are happy with the work and have had no further issues with water in the basement. | |

I contacted this company to come out and do work on corner window in my basement considering the repair would not exceed $2,000 they had interest in fixing it. The person in phone was extremely disrespectful along with owener considering he.couldn't even return my phone call.

Description of Work: The old drainage line from my house's downspout to the street had disintegrated causing water to pour into my foundation. Aquaproof trenched a new line and used the existing curb-cut. They took great care not to cut through my in-ground sprinkler system and spent a lengthy amount of time hand digging in those areas.

Description of Work: This work took place in 2008. My house is located at the bottom of hills in two directions. The foundation was frequently damp or wet, and smelling musty; the backyard became soggy during rainy periods. Aquaproof offered the middle quote of three companies I contacted, and made the most reasonable explanation. Aquaproof Inc sealed the foundation of my house (cinderblock,built 1940) on outside and inside. They replaced the original perimeter drains which were ceramic and had collapsed over the past 68 years; added a french drain in a low point in the back yard; added a sump pump in the basement; and replaced the window wells for the four basement windows because the originals were demolished during the waterproofing process. In the course of digging a trench around the foundation they removed the plantings near the house. | |While removing the basement floor around the foundation, they discovered that gravel under the front porch had been washed away, presumably when the gutters were draining without perimeter drains, leaving a void beneath the basement floor in the area under the porch. I had to get a contractor to remove the floor in this area, fill the void and replace the floor. This was an unanticipated expense, about $1000, in addition to the cost for Aquaproof. | |Aquaproof workers were prompt, neat and courteous; the company owner visited several times, explained the work clearly. They brought in a small backhoe through tight areas between houses without damage to my property or my neighbors property. They cleaned up as they went along and were very tidy even with drilling out the concrete basement floor next to the outer walls and digging the trench around the house and leading to the storm sewer. I had to replace the ground cover around the foundation, and reseed grass in some areas, all expected. | |The cost was as quoted. They began the day scheduled. There was a delay in finishing because of the problem replacing the floor beneath the porch by another contractor, but Aquaproof completed their work on schedule as promised. | |In the past seven years the basement has been dry even when there has been heavy rain. The sump pump has not been needed yet. The back yard does not become soggy in rainy weather. I doubt I will need them again for this house, but I would hire them again. I have recommended them to friends who need waterproofing. I am very pleased with their work.

Description of Work: Dug down to foundation footer around 2 sides of the house. Ran a drainage system on the inside of the third side. Stabilized a stairwell wall and installed a gutter on that same stairwell. A neighbor who is a contractor said he was impressed with their work.
