I had two representatives come to my home from Aquaproof. They were both very friendly and professional individuals. They gave me a quote for waterproofing two full walls of my basement along with part of a 3rd wall. They also quoted me on running all my downspouts to the street. There was nothing wrong with what they wanted to do, or how they wanted to do it. For me it came down to price, and they were the highest overall of the 5 quotes I got for this job. I will also note, that I was very impressed that they had copies of their BWC certificate and proof of liability insurance readily available. I think they probably would have done a great job, but like I said, it just came down to price.

He got back to me right away. He was very professional and he contacted me right way, which was very good.

We have lived in our home for 18 years, and while our basement is typically very dry, there was one window well which almost constantly remained full of water during any rain events. The water level at one corner of the house always remains high. We contacted AquaProof to get their input on a solution. The salesman that provided the original solution and estimate was very nice, and provided a detailed explanation of how the water would be directed away from the foundation. After we agreed to have AquaProof perform the work, the owner (Danny) came out to personally inspect the site to ensure we were getting the proper solution. After spending a considerable amount of time inspecting all options for drainage around our house, Danny determined that we would need to have a sump pump installed in our basement to completely eliminate our water problems. I felt that Danny was very honest in his explanations, and he did not pressure us into the additional work, but let us know that the drainage ditch alone would not completely solve our problems. We agreed to the solution that Danny recommended, and we were very happy with the quality of work performed. We have had several rains since the drainage / sump pump system was installed, and I am happy to report that we now have no water issues, and our window wells have remained completely dry.

The treatment produced the desired results, ending any leaks in the area. I was disappointed that the person who gave the estimate was not present to supervise the work and I had to advise the foreman in several instances of changes needed to conform to the original plan so the job was done to my satisfaction. While he was very cooperative, I wonder what would happen if I had not been present. I was also disappointed in the grading and reseeding of the trenches. The top soil seems to have been scooped into the trench first and what remained on the surface was large clumps of clay. I have tried to reseed it twice with limited success.

I got an estimate from Aqua Proof Inc. for gutter cleaning. We decided to go with a different company. I contacted them about February of this year. They quoted me around $17000. I spoke with the principal his name was Danny Mannly. He was knowledgeable being in the business a long time. He was very straight forward and upright with his responses and perspective on the work we needed to have done. Those are things I liked about him. His company seems honest and straight forward. He is a little short with his answers and then we called him back to tell him we were going with a difffernt company, he said they aren't going to do the same work, so again he was a little short in his response to me. Not bad, it wasn't unpleasant.

They came in and did the work. The quality was good. I thought it was reasonable. They did leave an awful lot of dust. It hasn't repeated the problem anytime since.

The work started with an estimate from James and the following week work was begun and finished in one day.

We couldn't have had a better experience! Danny, the owner, came out personally to give us an estimate. He carefully explained what needed to be done and why it needed to be done. He has a no BS kind of attitude that we liked and needed. We needed the work done asap and his crew came out within 2 business days. They were on time and worked very hard and everything was done within 7 hours! They cleaned up very well to a point that you didn't even know they had been there. Lifetime transferrable warranty given for their work. We have not had any problems since! Very professional and efficient is how I would describe Danny and his crew!

The crew arrived as scheduled and proceeded to unload their equipment. They begin digging out around the exterior to seal up cracks that was causing water to seep into our basement. They also started trenching to run our gutters out to the street. Due to unforeseen problems with the slope of the yard we had to change the route to the back yard. Thus, three of our gutters were tied into the drain. Even with this change, they completed the work in one day. They were very professional, cleaning up the area and seeding with straw where they trenched. I would hire them again. (PS: My neighbor was impressed with their work and hired them to do their basement.)

Couldn't have asked for anything to go better. They were prompt, professional, and did a great job!

When there was a storm, the basement of my house would have water coming in, from one of the windows, and through a hairline crack that is close to the corner with a downspouts outside. I called in a couple of contractors for proposals to fix these problems. Aquaproof is selected for a number of considerations. 1. Danny (the owner) gave me very convincing diagnosis. From the water stain he could tell the water is largely from the surface, and the leak is caused by the slow water removal from the house. 2. What he described is consistent with what I saw. I observed water accumulation around the house when rain was heavy. The downspout dumped water right by the house, building a puddle and causing the leak through the crack on the wall and overflow of water through the window. 3. He proposed systematic solutions to remove water, from expanding the capacity of gutter, better pumping capacity in the basement, to efficient removal of surface water from the ground - this is exactly what I need since I believe one should solve the problems once for all if possible. 4. Danny is very good at asking me about what I saw when there was a rain, and clearly explain how these issues should be addressed. The project was carried out by a crew of about 10 people over 2 days. They planned the work methodically, and worked very hard to make sure the progress is by the plan. The brought all the proper tools and equipment. They worked form 8 am to 7 pm with only a short lunch break. The foremen took opportunities to explain the design and how the structure is built. I am very impressed with the efficiency. The whole experience is very nice. I highly recommend Aquaproof. I also encourage people try their best to record the water issues with pictures so that you will have the best diagnosis of problems when talking to a contractor.

They were very professional. They arrived on time and completed the job in the amount of time they said that they would.

. I promptly got in touch with AquaProof Inc and they came out and looked at it and they would write it up and send me a quote via email. We were thinking of having it done, expecting to have more rain at the end of the summer but Aqua Proof came and did it and they did a good job. When they came out, they had 8 guys and they did the job within one day. There was a guy who was on the equipment and he never got off and there were other guys who were moving the gravel around and adjusting the drain tile and they worked from 9 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon. That was remarkable as I thought it was a 3 day job. When their principal came out, he said it would take a day and I didn't believe him, I thought it would take at least 2-3 days but he was right. They put in two types of gravel to make it porous and put a black tar on the foundation wall. We remembered Aqua Proof as our neighbors had used them and our neighbors said Aqua Proof were very good.

This was a good experience from start to finish. We called for an estimate and they returned our call same day. Set up an appointment for the following week to access the problem. James Cline gave us the estimate and they were able to do the job the following week. Mr. Cline was great to deal with and was punctual. His crew arrived early and worked continuously. Arrived at 8:00 a.m. and worked until 5:00 p.m. They were very courteous and did a wonderful job. Their cleanup afterward was fantastic even though it was 20 degrees outside. The best part is that the following three days it rained and we had no problems. Good job..

Over a period of several months this firm worked to solve water problems in the basement area of the home. They coordinated their work with other contractors in a professional manner and did their best to minimize and correct any damage to the surrounding yard. I would highly recommend them as they do an excellent job.

Aqua Proof came with a large crew of 8 and worked very hard and finished the interior of the basement in one day. The next day they came and finished the outside work. We are very pleased with their work ethics and quality. Danny Manley did a great job of explaining the problems and how they would fix them and the whys of the fixes. We had water seeping up between the basement floor and the concrete walls. There were cracks in two places in the basemen wall. Those problems were fixed. Drain piping was placed around the outside of the basement, window wells, added dirt and slopped the grade away from the house. Two large sized down spout were add and the reaming down spouts were replaced with the larger size.

The waterproofing went great! The company was professional and did a great job cleaning up after themselves.

The work was done very professionally. The crew arrived on site as scheduled and completed the work as scheduled. From my perspective the workmanship was excellent. Everything was cleaned up very well when the crew of three finished their work. I also appreciated the time Danny Manley spent with me to explain the cause of the problem and his recommendations on how to fix it. In the end, I felt very confident that the problem was permanently fixed.

AquaProof was the second of three basement repair companies I had come out to get their ideas on how to prevent water from getting into my basement. And they offered the best solution. Danny, the owner, came out and immediately diagnosed my gutters as having inadequate draining capacity for the length of my roof. Neither other company had commented on the gutters, but it makes sense that to solve problems with water in the basement, you should start with removing any root causes. Like the other companies, he also wanted to fix the crack that was having water leak through. One other company wanted to install a sump pump in the crawl space, but only Danny saw that I needed a system of channels in the crawl space to funnel water into the sump pump. While his solution was not the cheapest, it was also not the most expensive; and it seemed to me to make the most sense in fixing the underlying problem causing water to leak through the crack and to prevent further cracks from appearing. He was eager to get his crew out and working, and once I gave the approval they were over here almost immediately. They were kind, professional, hard-working, and they took the time to explain what was going on. The work proceeded in two stages: one day for crawl space and outside drain pipe work, another day with a smaller crew for new gutter installation.

I contacted Aquaproof on a Monday. The gentleman showed up Monday afternoon and quoted me a price for the repairs. The work was completed on Wed. I was very impressed with the crew. They were very polite and courteous. I thought the job would take multiple days - they had the job finished in one day. I noticed in the contract I personally failed to make sure the downspouts were listed. When I mentioned it to the foreman, and I even said it was my fault that I didn't make sure they were listed, he told me no problem. They did the downspouts as discussed. I have not had a contractor go beyond what was quoted prior so I was very happy. Prior to leaving, they regraded the yard to original, seeded and straw'd. I def. will use them again!

They did an excellent job of getting the yard back in shape where they dug to reroute the water with pvc pipe from the downspouts. I had a large ditch on the side of my house from all the rain we had the prior year, without asking them they filled it in for me as well as adding some dirt around a tree that had roots showing. Everyone I dealt with was very respectful, and I really liked the owner Danny Manley. Not only is he knowledgeable but he's a dog lover, two pluses in my book! It's been almost a year now and the peace of my I have now when it rains, no matter how hard, has made the investment worth it! I highly recommend you at least let this company give you a quote on your work. What I liked about Danny was he didn't make you feel like you had to make a decision to use him the day he came out, I found companies that would only give you their best price if you made the decision right then, I think for most of us spending the kind of money needed to waterproof requires some thought and due diligence and Aquaproof allows you to do that.

They were very friendly, professional and knowledgable. We had concerns regarding our gutter drainage and moving it away from the house more. The quote they gave was detailed and helpful. It is expensive work (irregardless of the company) to tear up the yard and re-route all gutters, but once we have the money we will most likely call them back.

Aquaproof was very professional. They did a great job. We interviewed several contractors and Aquaproof (Danny) was by far the most knowledgeable and responsive. I was concerned about the mess that the work would cause but I have to say they left the place spotless. They had 9 guys show up to do the work. They worked the entire time, were professional and courteous and kept us informed the entire time. I can't say enough good things about Danny and his employees. We've seen other larger companies "work" and it's a stark contrast between the other companies and Aquaproof. To me, some other companies might have celebrities endorse them but I would caution you be be very careful with them. Aquaproof was able to diagnoise the issues right away and offered great solutions. No scare tactics, no pitch to do a lot of work and consider it an "investment." Just straight advice. Danny also spent time to go over everything in detail with my wife so she understood what was being proposed and answered every question we had. Danny's personal interaction with the customer is fantastic. My parents used them a few years ago and also had a great experience. We had other contractors look at the site. None of them diagnoised the issues that Danny found. Instead, they didn't provide much guideance. Amazingly, after the work Aquaproof performed, the pesky leak in our basement is no longer around and the drainage is incredible! It's great to see the rain and not have to worry about water issues. I wouldn't consider using anyone else in the future.

We got 4 different company bids for this job. All companies were Angie's List A rated. We selected AquaProof. The sales rep was a straight shooter - owner and his son. Gave us detailed information on job to be done. Were the only company that followed up after the bids were delivered. Straight forward. No BS process. Be sure to read the contract. Deposit required to lock in work. The work crew was very professional, polite, thorough and cleaned up the work site. Couldn't tell the work had even been done. Recommend.
