Description of Work: installed pressure regulator valve on water line and expansion tank on hot water heater.I requested a breakdown of parts and labor separate,but they said they couldn't do that. The cost seemed really high for what was done.

Description of Work: The Apollo technician, Aaron, came to perform a master tune up on my air conditioner unit. A blown fuse was keeping my air conditioner from running properly. Aaron replaced the fuse at the disconnect box and it was covered under my plan with Apollo. The service Aaron performed was excellent. My air conditioner unit is old, but Aaron was very informative about the condition of my unit. Also, Aaron was very helpful in replacing one of the air filters in my unit. I have not had a bad experience with any employee at Apollo. Thank You Apollo for hiring such great people.

Description of Work: Called for routine service, but also asked about a problem last winter in the cold, cold days when the furnace stopped working due to a frozen air intake pipe. The technician identified an error in the initial installation (installed by a different company) and was able to correct it, changing the air intake and exhaust. He seemed very thorough and careful-we'll see how it goes this winter!

Description of Work: My AC was no longer blowing cold so I called Apollo to see if they could give the AC a charge. A technician, Josh, was at my door within an hour!!! He was very knowledgeable and professional and broke the bad news to me by showing me what was wrong. The entire heat exchanger was a solid block of ice, and pipes were frozen inside and outside of the house. On my request, he called for a sales rep to talk about my options. Eric arrived within an hour as well. And did I mention this was on a Saturday morning? I am extremely impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism from these guys. A+.

Description of Work: We like Apollo so much that we have had an annual contract with them for almost 10 years. Part of the contract includes two visits per year (one to ensure the furnace is working correctly and one to ensure that the air conditioner is working correctly. We have had them replace the air conditioner in 2008 and have been very satisfied

Description of Work: AC froze. Called Apollo and scheduled a visit from 3-5pm on Friday. Technician was too busy and Apollo graciously apologized and requested a reschedule Saturday morning. Technician spent 45 minutes in furnace and concluded thermostat was wired incorrectly and encouraged I buy a replacement and install it myself. I did, but system would now not come out of a "fan only" mode - AC would not turn on, heat would not turn on, Fan would not turn off. This was different from my first issue. |Called Apollo again. 2nd tech came out an hour later and evaluated the furnace control board was severely damaged (large black spot). Stated that it would cost nearly $1000 to replace the damaged board. I did not have Apollo replace the board because of two reasons 1: I believe the first technician damaged the control board (because the system behaved differently from before and after he was there) and 2: the circuit board was only $78 on Amazon. I bought the replacement board and saved $900 in labor charge to Apollo. | |Their management was very polite over the phone and did want to resolve the issue. But, I could not trust that their first technician did not damage the control board. I will not use again.

Description of Work: The service reps took 5 tries and a week to determine what was wrong with our furnace and get it fixed. They kept on replacing parts that had nothing to do with the problem. The company was very professional in dealing with their errors. They did not charge us for replaced parts that they could not verify as needing replacement.

Description of Work: Shaun W. showed up on time and went through all of the various questions and issues I had regarding heating, air, ductwork, the water heater and possible installation of a tankless water heater in my newly purchased home. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. He gave good suggestions and explanations and in some instances, estimates for future work. He replaced a part in the AC unit which was covered by warranty. The labor charge was very reasonable. This is our first experience with Apollo and we are very pleased.

Description of Work: Doug P and Ray S installed a new furnace and A/C at my home. They arrived on time and did a good job of installing the equipment and routing lines in a manner that gives a good appearance. They were very professional, explained the new system and answered any questions we had.
