when I called them it was a 90 degree day they were so great in understanding the situation and coming out as soon as they could, the technician was really nice and professional, he told us the problem and went out of his way to find the cheapest way to fix it its fixed and the air is back on :)

Generally it went well. There were complications in the installation that slowed the process, but they solved the problems and the result was good. They were willing to come out after a week and make fine tuning adjustments.

Apollo quoted the work we wanted done in a very timely fashion. Their promise was to start on May 4 and to finish in 2-2 1/2 days. They did just as they promised. The workmen they provided were professional, reliable, courteous, and knowledgable. When the work was done, they cleaned up completely and thoroughly. We had one small problem, called them on a Sunday, and they immediately sent a repairman out. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing heating or air conditioning work.

They have great sale people. Tell you what you want to hear. Call repeatedly until the contract is signed. The furnace was installed in a rental property. They did not call us to let us know the job was complete - oversight on their part. . Still have not contact me to let me know that they returned to correct the problems. Overall, they're work is professional. They reponsed quickly when we need them. When to the property in the middle of the night. Much appreciated. I just wish they would do more to communicate with us.

We have never had any complaints. They are great. We stick by them. Their customer service is really good.

They responded quickly to my call for service. The tech quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem as a failed controller board in the air handler. That much was done well. The estimate to replace the board was about $1,100, which I felt was unreasonable. The next day their sales rep tried to sell a new furnace for about $4,500. I did a little price checking for myself, bought a new controller board locally for $200 (from the same place Apollo could have gotten it), and installed and tested it in one hour. The tech's workmanship was good, and he was polite and respectful. However I feel they were totally out of line with their pricing to replace the controller board, using that as a way to sell a new furnace. I suspect they were preying on my vulnerability in a difficult situation (it was the hottest week of the season), and they were unethical with their attempt to sell a new furnace when they could have repaired it quickly for a few hundred dollars. I would have been much more satisfied if they had done that.

They are great! Very professional! They told us what they were going to do and explained what we didn't understand. They even took care of a few small things and gave us some tips on how to prevent them in the future.

It went very well. They follow up to ensure that everything is going well.

The technician was on time, clean and very careful. he always wore booties on eactime he cam in the house. he spent a lot fo time exoplaining what he'd be doing. He checked the temp and airflow at the registers in rooms all over the house and adjusted them open or cloed to meet our needs. He opened the furnace did the required maintenance, cleaned and replaced the filter on the whole house humidifyer. He adjusted the fan and gas flow to maximiuze the system's efficiency and heat the house better. Bottomline today is that the rooms upstairs are warmer and it seems to be working much better. I am normally suspect of these committments to service, but seeing that none of the system had ever been maintained, and that we'd need the AC to be maintained later int he year too, it seemed like a smart move. I was very happy with the experience.

We are glad. They are very efficient. They are clean and careful when they come in and out with their muddy shoes or whatever. They call before they get here and let me know they are coming. We have been real pleased with them.

I have a yearly maintenance plan. I?ve called each of them to ask them how they went about doing things. The person who answered the phone at Apollo gave me thorough and detailed answers. He rained down a whole bunch of stuff that meant nothing to me. So I figured that he knew about it. Normally, people just say that they will tune up the furnace. They don?t explain what a tune up of the furnace is and I was not impressed with that. The price was in line with what other people were asking. It is a busy season. He was very knowledgeable.

The technician did a fine job. I'm not sure I like the way the company handles it's billing. I had to prepay before they would schedule the service. And they really pushed the combo/year round ac/heat package. It may very well be a money saver in the end, but it seemed a little pushy to me. They also over booked and had to reschedule me to a later date, which was o.k. but not exactly something you could rate as excellent.

The technician was thorough and very clean, we would definetly have this company again, they were recommended orignally to us by Gary Sullivan.

Competent and professional throughout

We have an older home heated with hot water radiators. When we decided to install air conditioning, we contacted three of the larger contractors in town whose reputations suggested particular expertise in retro-fitting older homes. The first came out for an estimate and appeared clueless as to how to integrate the system into out home. He said he would get back to us with a plan and estimate, but we never heard from him again. The second said that it would be possible, but actually suggested that it would require running duct work on the outside of the house! Crazy! Finally, Tom Mounce from Apollo came over. After a quick tour of our home, he suggested a high velocity system that could be installed with no modifications to the home. He described how it would be installed, and over several conversations worked with us to bring the project within our budget. The president of the company came out to develop the actual design of the system. The team that did the installation was truly amazing. They were friendly, professional , and respectful of our home. They worked incredibly hard, got the job done on time, and cleaned up completely afterward. I was particularly impressed with the man who installed the duct work - he spent two days in August crawling inside the walls and ceilings of the house, without complaint! The system works beautifully, and has for the past five years. And other than the small air outlets in the ceiling, you can't tell it's even here! We couldn't be more pleased. Anyone with an older home should at least contact Apollo before deciding on an AC contractor.

I utilized another company due to better price

I liked the way the air conditioner looked, and I liked the way it worked. They came and put it in when it was real hot. They did a great job of completing it in 1 day working on a Saturday. They are listed on the Better Business Bureau, so I got them to do work for me. The people were very nice, and I had a good experience with them. The billing was set up just like I like it. They are well known in the area. Their price was moderate. Over the years, I haven?t had any problems with them.

It went very well. It was very thorough. I wouldn't use anyone else now.

I choose Apollo Heating & Air Conditioning because they are highly rated on Angie's List and are located close to my home. It was difficult to get an appointment for them to come out. We waited for about four weeks before they were able to come out. The technician who came out was very professional and courteous. He was able to explain things very thoroughly and do the work efficiently. He was willing to show me the monitor with the carbon dioxide and monoxide levels and make sure that we did not have any leaks. When he left he did leave some items out around the furnace without offering an explanation.

I am an engineer and I like tech. The job was a 3 day job with all the things that needed to be changed and balanced. I stayed with them and asked questions the whole time. They answered and the answers made sense. I was impressed with the workmanship that they put into the job. I would definitely use them again and stay with them to further my education in HVAC. I am an electrical engineer.

On the day of the installation, the workers first ensured that all our floors were protected from dirty feet and dirt as well as installing barriers to protect stairway corners and overhangs were not marked by the equipment they planned to use. They then removed all the old batt insulation from the attic along with sundry other detrius they discovered underneath it, all left by the home's previous owners. After constructing the walkway and the box, they then began to pump in the Atticat insulation via a long length of tubing connected to a machine that sat on our porch. One employee fed the bales of insulation in at one end which somehow turned into expanded foam at the other, filling our attic space with what now looks a huge pink fluffy cloud. Worktime was roughly 5 hours and all of Apollo's employees were personable, helpful and respectful of our home. It's too early to see what savings we might make as a result of this installation, but I suspect the difference will be palpable during both the upcoming summer and the following winter, especially as we have gone from weedy 6" batt insulation to over 20" of blown-in material.

Today's service visit by the technician was especially well done: polite, professional, and informative. He showed us a couple of ways we could on our own improve the efficiency of the system and save money. One of the most professional technicians we've had to the house for any service. What I especially like about this company also is that the president of the company answers the website emails in person. How many companies do that? I like these folks and give them an unreserved recommendation to all. Their contracts are not the least expensive out there, but they earn every penny.

Whenever the repairman was here, he has always been professional and gave us information that seems to be correct. They also come on time and it is easy to schedule a maintenance checkup at the time you want.

They were very professional and did a great job. Cleaned up everything when they were finished. I have had a service contract with them for years and have been very satisfied.
