Nelson arrived at my home promptly with a friendly smile on his face. He performed a check up on my furnace, humidifier, and thermostat. He explained in detail what he found and what he did. He also made a couple of helpful recommendations. His work was thorough and he was very professional. I have worked with Apollo for years and have found all of their technicians to be well-trained and courteous.

Rickey was prompt, efficient and very knowledgeable. I have had a service contract with Apollo for several years. This service call included renewal of Platinum plan as well as the repairs listed above. I have always been very pleased with Apollo's service.

They were on time and friendly and best of all informative. I had no knowledge about hvac systems so i relied on their expertise and i felt very comfortable with the way the explained everything. They found a major problem with my ancient furnace and went above and beyond to help me get the problem fixed and quickly - november in cincinnati without a furnace? No way.

I needed a new sump pump because ours was at least 15 years old and making alot of noise. We also wanted to have a backup system in case of power failure. We called Apollo and they recommended a dual sump pump with battery backup. The whole experience was wonderfully simple. When I called, they explained how the sump pump would work and why I could have confidence in the backup system. I then scheduled the installation for 11 days later between 9 and 11 AM. They called the day before to confirm the appt. and then called the day of the appt. 30 minutes before their Master Plumber showed up. The plumber was actually there 20 minutes later, 10 minutes early. He was very courteous and went to work in our basement. He completely removed the old pump and installed the new dual pump. Took about 90 minutes. He cleaned up everything in the area. He then showed me exactly how it worked and asked if I had any questions. He also tested the pump for me and what a difference. Was super quiet and could barely hear it run compared to the old pump. He even printed a copy of my invoice from his portable printer with all the details of the installation. I was very satisfied. Apollo even took the time to call me the next day to make sure everything was perfect. It was. I was very impressed by their service and courtesy. I have used other outfits like Thompson and Willis in the past and they paled in comparison to the service and expertise that Apollo sent me. I also know that their Master Plumber did the installation right and that other outfits don't use that level of plumber. What a great experience. I will now be using Apollo for all my heating, cooling, and plumbing service.

Apollo sent a service repairman to my house because my central air conditioning unit was no longer blowing air. The repairman, Ray Slocum, showed up on time and was extremely knowledgable and thorough. He went through my home's heating and cooling system with a fine-tooth comb and explained to me everything that he was doing. While he inspected the A/C unit, Ray gave me advice and tips to help maintain the unit and prolong its longevity. The service could not have been better, and I am extremely satisfied with Ray's professionalism and courtesy. If you are going to have Apollo do work on your heating or A/C unit, ask for Ray Slocum; you won't be disappointed.

We realized our A/C stopped working about 7. Called Apollo and put in a service call. The serviceman was here within the hour, replaced the condenser, and voila! We're on our way to a cool house again. What a great experience. So fast. I will definitely use Apollo in the future.

I got home from work one evening and the temperature in my house was 85 degrees. I called Apollo and the gentleman showed up 1.5 hrs later. He looked at the outside unit, and thought he fixed the problem. However, it turns out that wasn't the case. He then said it looked like it needed refrigerant. So he put in 4 or 5 pounds of that and charged me $400-500 for that service. Two days later, I came home and it was 85 degrees inside again. Then he suggested a leak test. They determined there was a leak in the coil, and the replacement cost for the coil was close to $2,000. I then tried to call the office in attempts to talk to someone to see if my previous charge could be credited to the replacement cost of the coil. The person in the office refused to call me back about this. At this point I called another company. This company fixed everything for $1500. Apollo did me a diservice.

I have an annual membership with them.

The toilet water valve began leaking around 4:00 pm. My husband began calling plumbers offering emergency service. We came across Apollo Plumbing and called a little before 5:00 pm. The answering service said they would be right out. An hour later, still no plumber or phone call. My husband called back again and the answering service said she didn't know why he hadn't called us yet. At 7:30 we called back and the answering service said she would resend the call. Ten minutes later the plumber called and said he "was told" to tell customers that he was in the middle of an 8 hour job and couldn't get out to us until at least tomorrow or possibly Monday. I called the answering service back, was immediately put on hold, explained the situation and suggested they not promise a plumber right away when it will be tomorrow or Monday. She told me, "We are just the answering service, we have no way of knowing that." I told her that perhaps the answering service and plumber should get their wires uncrossed to which she interrupted me and said, "Our wires aren't crossed." and hung up on me. This shows me they do not respect anybody but themselves. We will never use Apollo's services.

Nelson, the service specialist, arrived promptly. Inspected our air conditioner for routine maintenance. Nelson explained the work he did and asked if we had any questions. He was quick and very clean. He was also friendly and seemed happy and eager to do a good job even with the outside temperature in the 90's.

We were unable to start the pilot on our water heater - or so we thought. Mike F. with Apollo came out within the hour. Well, it turns out we had actually restarted the pilot but didn't realize it. (!) But Mike provided so much detailed and useful information on the workings of the water heater, that it was well worth the $79 diagnostic fee for his visit. I much prefer to be knowledgeable consumer and will be the next time. Mike also answered questions and gave useful advice regarding our sprinkler system.

I have a home warranty on a rental property. The AC had broken and the warranty company repairman said they couldnt respond until 3 days later. In the meantime I contacted Apollo and they came out that day. It turned out to be an issue with the outside electrics and they had to install a new outside disconnect and a new line to the mains. He called me later that day to discuss pricing etc and returned the next day to complete the work. I felt that the pricing was a little high ($879) but I feel like Apollo did a great job and the AC is working again. I was impressed with their punctuality and professionalism. Apollo also took a look at my water heater which had been leaking and recommended I install a new one as the old one was 20 years old! They returned 2 days later to install the new water heater at a cost of $1250. Again this price seemed high but I was glad that the work was completed promptly.

The technician was prompt, professional and throughly explained the process before starting. He was respectful of our space and did not leave any dirt or debris behind after the work was complete. I have contracted with Apollo to do the annual maintenance on our A/C and furnace and intend to use them for any future plumbing needs.

Air conditioning was not working due failure of thermostat. Technician arrived within one hour of service call on a saturday evening. Very professional, thorough and work completed in less than an hour.

We had to go through three permit inspections with them which was upsetting. They failed twice and we had to spend a lot of extra time and money to wait for them to pass that. They were friendly but we feel like someone that experienced should be able to pass a permit inspection on the first try.

I have used them for about six years. They remind me when it's time to re-up. I pay an annual fee and they come out to service it before winter hits and before summer hits to make sure everything is maintenance free. They wear their little shoe protectors. They analyze the problem and tell you the best solution. They have actually saved me a lot of money. One company told me I had to replace a whole humidifier but the other guy showed me a little trick on how to make the one I had work. I will absolutely use them in the future.

Exactly as expected - parts were needed, but there was no additional cost due to the plan. In theory, the plan saved me over $200.

Ben explained the process, performed the work, and cleaned up leaving no trace he was here.As we talked about the impact of this service on my family's health (which is the reason we bought it),I knew that Ben was giving us the best service he could because that's what he would want for his family.He wasn't just getting the job done - he was getting it done right.

I bought an Angieslist Big Deal: The technicians arrived promptly, were unobtrusive even though they were in the basement, first and second floors. The job supervisor introduced himself and each of the crew. He told me what they would be doing. I'd had the ducts cleaned before so I knew what to expect. They were thorough and efficient. When they were done, there was no sign that they had been there - EXCEPT for the clean ducts. They did as good a job, if not better, as other contractors I'd had in the past. I'd use their services again.

Ron was a joy to work with. He was professional to the point of perfection. Ron explained each step in the process in easy to understand laymens terms and made excellent recommendations needed in accomadating the issues that arose in dealing with a 126 yr old house. He was always punctual and diligent. He kept us informed of his progress and any changes or issues as they arose. He completed his work on schedule and was very good about cleaning up after himself. His demeanor was friendly and he had a great sense of humor that really helped us deal with the stressful issues at hand. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing issue and will be putting him on speed dial for future use!

He did a wonderful job and clean up. He explained everything to me. He told me I needed to get a bigger filter on my furnace or my fan would go out. He was very helpful. The price and service were good. They asked me if I wanted to get a contract for $25 per month that would take care of my air conditioning and furnace, and they would be on call 24 hours if I needed them.

We bought a service contract with them, and I like that they are prompt and organized. We had a problem with the humidifier and they found out that there was a recall on it, so they brought us a new one and installed it. We will continue to use their services in the future because we have a maintenance contract with them.

He made a huge mess in my bathroom, there was dirt everywhere. He told me I would have to replace the drain and all my pipes in my bathroom because they were too rusty and it would be $1000 or more. I sent him on his way and used a different company which was able to clean out my pipes for $87.00.

purchased coupon special for air duct cleaning and furnace tune up. I had more ducts than was allotted on the special coupon offer so i asked to drop the furnace service included for the rest of the vents to be cleaned. My request was met and Apollo did performed the services requested in a timely and professional manner.
