The identification of the problem and the repair required two visits on consecutive days, for which I was charged only one service call fee. Both of the technicians were professional, courteous, articulate, well-groomed, and were very clear with explaining the problem and potential solutions. The scheduler called me promptly to schedule visits from the technicians and they arrived punctually. The air conditioning is blowing cold air again, after a refrigerant recharge. The technicians from Apollo identified the problem correctly the first time and repaired it. This was a good value for me because it was so hot outside, though I don't suspect Apollo competes much on price - their hallmark is their service, and it shines.

They are a really great company to deal with. They provide really great customer service and a great product.

The service went well. The technicians that have serviced my furnace and cooling system have been very good. But watch for the billing practices. I renewed my service contract 2 weeks ago and the office tacked on a plumbing contract without my approval. I only found out about it today after I had already paid towards it. After calling the company they agreed to take the plumbing contract off and refund my money, but IT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ADDED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Overall my experience with them has been good.

I'm not currently thrilled with them. We've been using them for about 5 years. The last time they came to do work for me I was pleased with the work but that's not the issue. The issue is that every time someone comes to your house, it's someone different. We never have the same repair person come to your house. We have a maintenance agreement with the company and it's never the same maintenance person that comes to our house. They don't seem to know what's going on. It's like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. We pay a service fee of approximately $200 every 6 months, we have a summer fee and a winter fee for summer and winter tuning. It seems like something's always wrong because it take's them 5 years to it right.

On a routine maintenance check, the Apollo technician found a carbon monoxide leak, and we needed to replace the unit. The sales rep came to the house and did a good job of exploring options. The work was done as expected and is working well. My only concern is that I feel he gave us a couple of different "stories" about potential rebates, and how we could save money on our annual service contract with them as both the ac and furnace were new to new-er. But the service contract looked the same to me--almost $700 which seems a lot for new equipment.

From the beginning of the process (identification of the problem with our air conditioning unit) to the completion of the installation, the process and cooperation of all associated with Apollo was great. The comfort specialist Josh was friendly, helpful and most certainly non pressure. He was patient with our questions and calls with follow up questions. The day of the installation could not have gone better from our perspective. The installers were exactly on time and worked throughout the day. They cleaned up after themselves amazingly, you would have never known they were in our home. The new system is working wonderfully and we are completely satisfied with our experience. We really did not expect anything less as we have used Apollo for fourteen years between our present home and our last.

This Angie's List listing should probably be removed since the company no longer does Duct Cleaning. They still do other HVAC work, of course....

They were very good. I had three or four different quotes from different companies and they were the second best. They were very professional and thorough. I like them a lot.

Called late morning and was able to have someone come out 2 hours later. Nelson was very prompt, friendly, and professional. He was able to figure out what the issue was right away and fixed the ACs in less than an hour. I will use Apollo again.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. It turned out well and they came out shortly after I purchased the Big Deal.

awful. advised unit by Trane installed years ago that had worked fine for years was miswired by original installers. after he "serviced" unit, it does not work. follow up technician and I saw many electrical connections not reconnected after "service" call. Same for another unit. technician did not reconnect electrical terminals. when reconnected, this system worked fine. two other systems deemed low on refrigerante and might need replacing. they were pushing for this without a leak test. After complaining, they agreed to leak tests for "free" after paying $800 for annual service contract. leak test revealed no known leaks. system just needs more refrigerant. seems incompetent at the least and dishonest and fraudulent at the worst

We did not use Apollo Heating and A/C.

They did a fine job although there were some additional charges. This was my first time using them and I would recommend the service.

This was an all day job in which Matt and John maintained good spirits and humor. I was impressed by their willingness to keep me informed about their progress and ask my input in placement of the unit and pipes. I have had experiences with other workmen who have completed work and didn't think about small details and conveniences or what my preferences would be. Matt was aware of these details and redirected pipes so they didn't cover windows or stick out when I suggested a different route. Steps of the installation were explained with reasons and they were always willing to answer questions. They kept me informed of their schedule and when they were leaving for lunch and trips for supplies and when they would return. The clean-up was excellent. Both men were professional, efficient and knowledgable, and they were concerned about my satisfaction with their work and the product. I was impressed with their positive feelings about the Apollo company. It was obvious that they were proud of the respect the company showed them and felt they needed to show the same respect to their customer. I am extremely happy with my tankless water heater and with the work that was performed.

It went very good. I just like they were easy to find really and locate the reviews so I am going to say I am going to trust him. They were good and very professional. I would use them again.

Purchased new air conditioner and humidifier. Purchased on a Thursday and it was installed on Monday. Salesman and technicians were all very professional and customer service oriented. Overall great experience.

While performing a semi-annual tune up on my air handler they discovered some mold growing inside which they showed to me. They suggested an ultraviolet light to stop the mold. After scheduling the installation of the light, I was unsure about this and did some reading on the internet. When the technician showed up to install it, I mentioned the things I read on the internet that made me wonder if I should have it installed. The technician explained the differences between what I was having done and what I was reading about. The service call was great. He showed up promptly, was polite and friendly, very knowledgeable about the product and cleaned up the area afterwards. I have used Apollo for many years and will continue to do so. I am always pleased with their service and with every technician that has performed it.

I was not home to watch the work be performed but it seems like they did a great job. There were2 guys at our house the better part of a work day. They said they found a dead mouse in the ducts. We did not notice any difference in our air quality, but are glad we had them cleaned none the less.

Nelson from Apollo Heating & Cooling was here today to perform the annual maintenance on my cooling system before the hot weather arrives. Nelson showed up right on time and was very professional. He put booties on his shoes before entering the house so as not to dirty my floors or carpet. He got right to work and completed the work in a timely manner. When he left everything was clean. I did not have to go and clean up anything after he was gone. Nelson and Apollo are great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

Aaron was our technition and he was very prompt, courteous and professional. After explaining what he would do, he continued with the inspection. Unfortunately, we did have a leak in the AC unit along with a nest built by chipmunks or mice that had chewed through the wires. Aaron explained our options from a repair to purchasing a new unit. We felt no pressure from him and felt the direction to go was our choice with little influence from him which we appreciated. We will be meeting with one of their specialists in a few days to discuss replacing our unit since it is older. While we were impressed with Aaron and have used Apollo in the past, we will still interview 1 or 2 other companies before we make our decision which is our own family policy.

Disappointing. If they were not interested in doing the work, could they be courteous enough to call back?

All of the above sounds like a "red flag" situation for us, but it is not. We have been satisfied Apollo customers for years. Our furnace and A/C units are 10 years old and are "contractor grade" equipment installed by the builder in 2003. They are simply wearing out. We know we will have to spend the money (about $10,000) to replace the units. We would like to get through the summer cooling season first, or even stretch it to this time next year, but there are no guarantees on this. Apollo emphasizes good customer service in their business and it shows. We pay a little more for that and for their expertise (all their technicians are "in house" employees as far as I know). We like that. We also like that Apollo makes every effort to schedule the same technicians to the same customers every time. We know Shaun, and he knows us, so we're comfortable with him on each visit. We like that, too.
