Tommie McBride was the HVAC tech who performed the service. He conducted his business in a very professional manner, keeping me informed on what was being done.

I called Apollo and was impressed by the professionalism as the operator took my request and said the scheduler would call me back shortly. To my pleasure they were able to come out in just a couple hours. Kellen came out and was able to diagnose the problem and fix it quickly. He was very polite and professional and answered all my questions.

They did what they agreed to do. That’s all I can ask.

We were looking for a new HVAC contractor to maintain our a/c and boiler so we bought a maintenance plan with Apollo. We had the inspection done on the a/c earlier this year. Apollo communicated well and we felt comfortable with the tech. Our A/C did go out and had them back to fix the a/c. The tech told us the price and seemed high but we had a house full of hot people so we approved the fix. We asked that the tech to itemize the work. labor/parts. The invoice should the cost of the capacitor and trip fee. We contacted Apollo the next day requesting a clarification on the capacitor charge. Was it the price of the capacitor and labor or just the part. At this point it went south. I received a couple calls from different people who where trying to talk circles around me. I explained to them that I'm in the construction business and that its not an unreasonable ask to have material and labor broken out. More double talk. I asked that they have the manager call me. No call. I emailed them again to have the manager call me. nothing. I explained to them that we were new to Apollo and were trying to get a comfort level with them and this was not helping. Again we liked the tech and felt comfortable with him but the main office/management dropped the ball and now we're overly suspicious of their pricing. We were charge over $300 for a $25 capacitor. I understand mark-up but this is crazy. This is why we asked for the break out.

After service the technician got it come on, could not find a problem, but keep an eye on it. He said it might be the thermostat and have to replace.

Doug did his best to find the best option for my needs and went above and beyond to find affordable financing.

Because the odor is intermittent, it was not possible to duplicate while Lenny was here. We did determine that the likely culprit is a utility room floor drain, with a dry trap. Lenny provided instruction as to how we might manage the problem, and suggested that it might be a waste of money to snake drains which appear to be clear. I appreciated his consult.

Service was great and love the equipment.

I had previously used them and they were great. So today I had to have them back to clean out line. But I had a feeling my news wasn’t going to be good. Which I figured replacement was coming because of previous problems. He did camera and gave an estimate. So new sewer line for me on Wednesday. They do a good job.

Apollo got Jeremy here about two hours after my 6pm call. He diagnosed a rusty bracket caused a switch to disconnect. Fixed the problem but also tested the system to make sure there wasn’t some hidden issues.. very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient.

Horrible. The technician told me that he had to perform a leak check in order to fix the problem. I was charged $1500 for him to tell me that I had a gas leak which I already knew. That they felt that I needed to replace 30' of pipe for an additional $7,200. New pipe and fittings only cost $150. I told him to leave before I something bad would happen. I hired a different plumber who inspected the pipe. It was all good it only needed to be disassembled and resealed. It took him 8 hours did a leak check and charged me $2800 for the whole thing. If you want your wallet emptied for no reason then hire Apollo. If you want your plumbing problem fixed for a fair price then hire anyone else but them. I tried to contact them to fix this problem I have with them and they refused to work with me. They only wanted to try to cheat people out of their money. I am a professional maintenance planner. To charge someone $7,200 for a job that took eight hours of labor and $150 of parts is outrageous. They will try to con you out of your money and not charge you a fair price. I was charged $1,500 and the problem remained. I only paid that to get them out of my house. I should have just called the police and tell them that I was being robbed. I strongly, disapprove of Apollo service.

Tech came out and he was professional and punctual. When he began the service he found out that the blower was not working (less than 15 minutes into the appointment). He could not complete the service and told me I was initially going to be charged a $79 fee for a service call which I didn't request. Since I had a coupon for the furnace tune up he was able to only charge me that price ($59) after I had him call the office back to tell them I didn't agree with the charge at all. I don't think that I should have been charged anything at the time. I asked if I could just reschedule the tune up after the repair was done (I have a home warranty so they were going to cover the repair) and I was told no but I could buy another coupon for another $59 and then they would come back out. Not happy

Everything went well from the initial request to Angie’s List, to the recommendation of Apollo Home to either repair or replace two plumbing issues at my home. They scheduled my service for the next day and work was completed by the end of the day. It looks good. All went well. Thanks!

Ron has provided service for us several times and it has always been a positive out come!

I called in the morning and had a technician here by the afternoon. I received a text message with an embedded image of the tech so I knew who to expect and when he’d arrive. Ricky quickly diagnosed and replaced a blown fuse, and then replaced the contactor and hard start, both of which were bad and the root cause of the blown fuse. It’s quite an old AC unit and probably needs to be replaced soon, but he gave me the information I needed to decide whether to repair or replace. He also recommended the annual care plan with checkups of AC, heat, electrical, and plumbing. Normally I avoid these types of plans, but I have an old house that could use the maintenance, and it kicked in a nice discount on the repair work as well. I rated a C on cost as the cost for replacement of the individual parts seemed very high compared to the retail cost of the parts alone and other average rates I looked at online, but the discounts I got through Angie’s List and the maintenance plan helped a bit. He also spent quite a bit of time diagnosing, so I figure that factors in as well. All in all, I was very happy and I’ll continue to use Apollo.

They quickly diagnosed the issue and I replace the HVAC system within 2 days they returned replaced the system in less than a day.

Incredible customer service and so professional. Highly recommend. I don't have their plan yet but I might be switching from American Home and Shield based on my experience today. I had Rickey come do my HVAC assessment and he was first class. Explained everything fully and was super thorough!
