Apke Carpet Care

The week of January 8, 2014 saw below zero temperatures in the Cincinnati area and many residential and commercial facilities suffered the consequences of frozen pipes. At our church, we had one to two inches of water flooding the foyer, restrooms, office, nursery and mechanical room. Every company we called was tied up for at least a week, but Apke was able to come within a day. They extracted the water from the carpeting and set up seven commercial fans. After we met with the insurance adjuster, Apke proceeded to tear out drop ceiling, drywall and insulation based on the adjuster's report and actual moisture readings. The drywall was then replaced and carpets cleaned. They also cleaned everything that had accumulated any drywall dust from the finishing operation. When they completed their work, it was like it never even happened. Every member of the Apke team was personable, knowledgeable, and it was a pleasure to work with them.

OUTSTANDING! We had actually thought about replacing some areas of our 10-year+ old carpet but are very pleased to be wrong! Not only did the cleaning go extremely well, the color of the carpet is closer to what we remember when first moving in (and after more than 6 weeks, still is). I'm not sure how they compare price-wise since it's been quite awhile since we'd had them cleaned, but sometimes you really do get what you pay for - this was well worth the cost. We've used various other companies in the past have found our carpet cleaning company! Flexible, professional, and extremely helpful service made for a winning experience all the way around.

I think it went great. Apke was great service. There were no problems. The way they handled it was very professional. The price was right. The gentleman who came to visit the house was very kind and he did a lot of the work himself. We've been to other services and we like this one the best.

I bought the Angie's List deal and the whole experience was excellent. They contacted me right away to confirm the day they'd be out. The tech arrived on time and did a wonderful job on carpets that hadn't been cleaned in several years. Even a very dirty high-traffic area at the top of the stairs is perfectly clean now. The tech was fast, thorough and respectful of our home and time. If I had to pick one thing to complain about it would be that the hose from the truck dragged through a flowerbed and made a bit of a muddy mess on the sidewalk, but no plants were damaged and it was rainy that day so I'm sure it was tough to avoid.

Arrived a few minutes early, explained what he was going to do and asked if there was any special needs (stains to clean, other rugs, etc). Very thorough job cleaning the rugs with excellent results.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased . They were great! I expected there to be an additional cost when I called them and scheduled the appointment because I knew that I had some pet issues, and we didn't know exactly how they are going to handle it. That was not unexpected. I wasn't there but my husband was there, and he thought he was very thorough and answered questions.

Company representative was on time, performed the job as described, and was personable and professional.

He did an outstanding job. The carpet was like it was brand new like the day it was put in except for the swapping which pattern that comes from steam cleaning and I would recommend this company to anybody. I am not coming down on the workmanship, the technician that came, he was very congenial and professional and you hardly knew he was here and just did a bang up job.

These guys are AMAZING!! They went above and beyond. I fed my dog some bones from making split pea soup on Monday (which I never do) and the poor guy had some terrible "accidents" on the 3rd floor which I rarely use. I only discovered the "oil slicks" hours before I had to fly out for work. I logged into AL, purchased this deal, flew out, and received a call from APKE when they arrived at my apartment. They emphasized that they do NOT normally do this type of clean up, since I had not touched the "oil slicks" but they did it anyway since I was out of town and travel a ton for work. I owe these guys dinner and a beer. Thank you for your amazing level of service.

I took advantage of the Angies List coupon for up to 4 rooms of cleaning for $129. 2 gentlemen showed up to do the work and they were very professional. One started by going around the areas and spraying on a pretreatement. The other followed behind with the steam/how water cleaner. They worked very quickly and completed all areas in less than 1 hour. |They did a really nice job on the steps as we had a few stains that I was worried about but they came out.

Overall, excellent service. Made an appointment on a Tuesday, they arrived on Thursday morning to clean a finished basement area and the stairs leading to it. Brought all they're own gear, cleaned everything quickly and had it all buttoned up within an hour. All the carpets look (and smell) much better! Very courteous and professional outfit that I would recommend to others.

The carpet cleaner arrived on time, and began working promptly. He did a great job!

They always get spots out that I think are in there for good.

Arrived on time, looked over areas to be cleaned and asked about problem areas. Started immediately and had job completed in no time. Cleaned up hardwood flooring around area rug so solution did not damage hardwood. Office carpet had not been cleaned in awhile. Now it looks as good as new carpet installed less than a year ago. Will have them back to clean lower den area.

I purchased the deal for 4 room areas to be cleaned and protected for $129. I have 2 dogs that spend most of their time in the family room, so the carpet in there had some very dirty traffic patterns that looked really good when the job was done. |Snow & ice made for very bad traffic that morning. William Kelly called to let me know he was stuck in traffic -- so although he was later than planned, I appreciated the call to let me know what was happening. He also kindly helped me with snow removal on the path into the house. |I will use Apke again.

For a nominal added cost they cleaned several upholstery furniture like new!!

Apke showed up on time. The worker was clean neat and professional. He did a very nice job and the carpet was cleanned beyond what I expected. We will use them again and we would also recommend them other folks.
