Doesn't do it

Very happy with our results.

We are so happy with our antenna! He put it on the roof, enabling us to get loads of stations without cable (all the ones we want, at least). He is extremely prompt, professional, and easy to work with. I am just writing this review now, two years after we had the service, because we recently remodeled a room and added a splitter for the tv in that room. When we did that, we lost access to a number of stations formerly available on other sets. We called him and, within a day, he sent us a proper splitter that enables us to access all of our original stations. Incredible service and willingness to help!

He arrived on time ( actually an half hour early ) showed me what he was about to do, and did it. He did me a favor by taking down a Christmas Wreath that I hadn't got around to taking down. Installed the antenna, mounted to the brick flue that is barely noticeable from the street, reprogramed the TV from Cable to the antenna, picked up the scraps and was done. If all contractors work this way the world would be a better place. Would I hire him in the future? You bet.

I had heard that OTA resulted in a clearer picture, but didn't expect to notice. I was surprised - it was noticeably better. Brian even came out on Sunday to accommodate my schedule. Highly recommend.

Brian's knowledge and professionalism was great. He's very honest and does a neat job. He will install the cables along your roof and sides of house to hide the cable as much as possible. We get 60 channels and a good 75% of them are in HD @ 1080p resolution. That's better than the 720p you get with cable & satellite. Brian is all around a great installer and a good person to deal with!

Brian is fantastic. He installed the antenna for us in 2014, delivering exactly as promised. We were able to approve the quality of TV reception and see the number of channels received before paying a dime. We approved it and it worked exactly as we expected. Great reception. He was also very helpful in providing guidance about how to find TV programming and DVR options. We were totally set and completely satisfied when he left. Brian took time and care on our property. All lines he ran were bundled together with ties in a very neat and tidy way. Cleaned up the area in entirety and TV console stand moved back into its place when he was finished. A year later now, we recently had the house pressure washed and it apparently created a reception issue with one of the connectors. Our reception was not working. Brian stopped out the next day and replaced the connector, no charge whatsoever. The name "Antenna Cowboy" is probably one of the best, most creative names for a company in his line of work. He does that name justice and is a class guy through and through, 100%. If you need and Antenna installed, look no further!

Brian was great! Performed trouble-shooting and repaired an older chimney antenna for my aging parents. Brian fixed the problem at a very reasonable cost and house now receives more HD channels than previously. AA++ service! Thank you!

Brian talked to me over the phone to assess exactly what I was needing. He came out two days after I called to see if he could help hook up my rooftop antenna that hadn't been used for over 10 years. He worked efficiently and professionally and completed the task within the hour. All of my TVs now have many channels and receive great reception without cable. I would highly recommend him for any antenna services. If only I had called him before buying multiple table top antennas since giving up cable. None of them worked and my picture was sensitive to movement, wind, weather, etc. Now it's perfect all of the time.

Brian assessed what I wanted over the phone and quoted me the price so there were no surprises. Everything turned out great and the pictures are excellent. I have two older model TVs with converter boxes that I had on hand since 2009 and one HD LG. I actually get a few more channels on the older models ~ about 48. A few stations are duplicates like GET TV and the picture quality is the same. Brian is very knowledgeable about his profession. He initially hooked up one TV so I would see the reception and channels available. He worked very efficiently and was very accommodating when I asked him to attach the antenna to a different side of the chimney. Yes, I do sometimes miss a few cable channels like HG TV, but I am saving 86.00 dollars a month and that alone is worth dropping cable ~ especially since most of the stations I usually watch are local channels. It's a personal choice and I'm very glad that Antenna Cowboy was available so I didn't have to purchase multiple TV antennas and face the likelihood that I would only get a few stations with poor picture quality.

Brian did what he promised and everything is working correctly.

I suddenly lost channel 5 service for days. Occasionally, channel 12 dropped out. I thought it must be my antenna. I called Antenna Cowboy, who returned my call the same day. He told me that channel 5 was off the air and that my antenna was probably OK. That did prove to be the case. I really appreciate his honesty since I'm sure there are other providers in the area who would have come to my house charging a travel fee and even replaced the antenna needlessly. If I ever need antenna service in the future, I would definitely call Antenna Cowboy.

Cheap way to improve local T.V. reception!

The installation went very smoothly. He took care to hide wires and explained what he was doing. Very professional and friendly. We now have a lot of channels and reception is great even during storms.

Very satisfied with the service. We get 40+ channel's, but most important we get all the network channels. In some cases we get both Dayton and Cincinnati networks. The quality is crystal clear. I should have done this a long, long time ago. Directv, Warner Cable, etc are way too over priced. I have to tell you, I LOVED my Directv. I have been a subscriber for 20+ years, but no matter how hard I tried, I could not get the bill under $80, and every year I got a price increase. Also, there was no love, or special offers for long time subscribers. All the perks and deals are for new customers. I was done.We recently moved and we were ready for a change. Cowboy Antenna offers a great, affordable solution. One time installation upfront, and NO monthly charges. We are going to use Netflix & Hulu through our xbox or smart TV to catch up on the few tv shows not on the main networks. Service was excellent. He was on time and did quality work. Goodbye Directv - Hello free Digitial TV. Thanks Cowboy Antenna!

)Brian took his boots off on entering the home (day after ice storm). He accessed the attic and basement to ensure the cables would support the upstairs and basement televisions. He ran the cable from the roof along the gutter downspout so as not to detract from the look of the house. I think we found 42 stations, although some have since dropped out. I get all the local channels (some HD)- CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS (Dayton, Cincinnati, and Kentucky) and the picture is great. I also got some stations I never heard of before such as Create and love them. Create is PBS on steroids.... travel documentaries, cooking shows, Victory Garden- love it. This should save me about $55/month (once I pay off the cost of the installation) without Time Warner Cable. Yeah!

He was outstanding. He was very professional did a great job. His price was reasonable we ended up getting more channels then we anticipated. We still kept our cable, and in foul weather it still has worked when direct TV failed it excelled. The picture is great.

Excellent! He was on time, very clean and left shoes at the door when entering house, was willing to work with us for adding drops, very pleasant attitude, explained what he was doing and very aware of our needs.

Just as his website states, he didn't leave until he tested all connections. He was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. We are so pleased with the end result, even in windy or stormy weather. I recommend the Antenna Cowboy to anyone who wants excellent digital reception and doesn't want to pay for cable.

Antenna Cowboy did an awesome job! Everything went as expected. He tested to make sure I received digital TV channels. If I did not, there was no charge! You couldn't ask for any better guarantee on workmanship and service than that!

When the owner arrived at the scheduled time for our first appointment, we discussed the scope of the job, the type of equipment he uses, and the estimated time it would take to complete the work. I was impressed that he actually connected a temporary antenna to my TV, and demonstrated the signal reception. I had been using an indoor digital antenna, which was marginal at best. With the new outdoor antenna, I was able to receive 49 stations, most with outstanding, high-definition quality. After getting a quote for the job, I gave the owner the go-ahead and we scheduled the installation for the following week. The owner arrived for the installation at the scheduled time. He worked very efficiently and was knowledgeable with respect to the building codes and correct techniques for proper grounding, etc. The materials he used as well as the execution of the installation were very high quality - the owner did not attempt to hurry the job or cut corners. After about three hours, the entire job was completed, including clean-up. Because the job included an upgrade of an electrical outlet for grounding, the price and time to complete were a little higher, but very reasonable. I would recommend Antenna Cowboy to anyone looking for a high quality, fairly priced antenna installation.

I had recently been laid off from my job and was looking to reduce our monthly expenditures. I decided that getting rid of Satellite TV at over $100/month was a good starting point. I joined Angie's list and started researching TV Antenna's and the AntennaCowboy had good reviews and a great policy. He was willing to mount the TV antenna temporarily and connect the TV's so I could get an appreciation of the picture quality. If I did not like the picture quality, he would remove the TV Antenna and there would be no charge for the service. The cost to install the TV Antenna was $299 and $50 for the signal booster. I called the AntennaCowboy and he got back to me the next day and we schedule an appointment that Saturday. He arrived on-time and we reviewed the number of TV's and the location to mount the TV Antenna. He remove the satellite dish and mounted the TV antenna on their pole and used the existing outside outlets to connect the TV Antenna. Because of the length of the run, we decided to add a signal booster that improved the picture quality on my main TV. We checked that all the TV's had a good picture quality and were receiving the local over the air stations. I was very pleased with the quality and professionalism of his work and highly recommend him to install your TV Antenna.

Our good experience with this business is the reason I joined Angie's List. My daughter who has an Angie's List account researched and found the Antenna Cowboy for us. After our good experience I decided I needed an Angie's List account of my own and she decided to disconnect her cable and have the Antenna Cowboy install an antenna for her also! There were a number of circumstances, including weather, where either Brian or us had to reschedule, but we were finally able to get a time that was good for him and us. He had told us ahead of time that a location like ours would likely need a booster and we were not surprised because of our rural location. He arrived on time obviously prepared to do the job with all of the equipment he would need. He went right to work, ran cable, used some existing cable, and stayed with it until he had over 30 channels coming in clearly. We now also subscribe to Netflix and got rid of a nearly $100 per month satellite bill.

It went extremely well. He performed the advertised service (as above) and went above and beyond to install new outlets in our home. Very professional and courteous. Will definitely recommend to others.
