I highly recommend Annie Miller Designs. I needed a complete remodel of my kitchen & remove a tub & make walk-in shower in bath. Of those I contacted, Annie was the only one who would go with me to each supplier to be sure my selections worked together. She worked with me & understood the changes I wanted, large pantry & more counter space. She made suggestions to make my kitchen more efficient, i.e. mixer shelf that was hidden in a cabinet, spice drawer & utensil drawers. Her input was invaluable & everything came together nicely. The result is a beautiful kitchen & I'm extremely happy with the selections. The new shower makes the bath appear larger. Annie took the time to find a tile that would go with the existing ceramic flooring & also selecting new bath accessories. The end result is a beautiful new bath. I am happy to give Annie Miller Designs a five star rating.

Annie is a talented designer and was pleasant to work with. I wanted to write a positive review. However, I am extremely disappointed by the quality of the cabinets that she sold us. We had originally agreed on maple cabinets but, based on the colors we chose, the cabinets listed on our final contract were changed to Poplar. I asked about the quality and durability of poplar cabinets and Annie assured us that they were high quality. Some of the drawer fronts arrived already scratched. Those were replaced, but one year into our kitchen renovation every single cabinet door and drawer face has been marred and gauged. The wood is so soft it can be scratched by a fingernail or plastic utensil. The larger pantry doors have bowed and no longer close fully. The moulding has pulled away from the ceiling and all the toe boards have detached. The hinge screws have backed out and stripped the poplar wood holes. When we told Annie about these issues a few months after the remodel was complete, she sent the regional Aspect representative to look at the damage. His explanation was, “Well, they’re not high-end cabinets,” and referred us to a furniture restoration company, recommending they come and refinish the cabinets every few years. He also shoved some toothpicks into the stripped hinges and screwed them back together. These poplar cabinets are of the quality that someone might use to flip a house, but not to live in. We are extremely stressed out by this kitchen. Imagine having to constantly tell the kids not to touch the drawers or even play in the kitchen for fear of another scratch or gauge. But it’s no use – every single time something touches a cabinet it leaves a dent. There is no resolution at this point, since cabinets are so central to the kitchen, and replacing them again would mean we need to replace countertops and everything else. So, we had a complete kitchen remodel and with disposable, cheap cabinetry. Part of this is my fault for not doing cabinet research myself, but the reason we hired a designer was so they would do this kind of research for us. We are extremely disappointed. Annie’s contractor, Tom McCane, left a lot of unfinished work. Once the hardwood floors were installed, the door frames no longer met the flooring. He claimed to not have time to replace the frames. The ductwork vents he installed were the wrong color so he suggested we buy some spray paint and spray them to match. All of the cabinet toe boards have detached. The drawer sides are scratched because of improper installation of the drawer rails. He removed 4” crown moulding around the fireplace and replaced it with a 1” flat strip of wood. Overall it was rushed and sloppy, and when we would request he fix anything, there was a significant upcharge. We would not recommend using this company unless you are doing a quick flip of a house you don’t plan to live in.

Annie was successful in transforming our outdated kitchen and undersized dining room, into an efficient larger kitchen/dining area with a huge walk-in pantry. Her design assigned purposeful use for each cabinet, drawer and storage area, while also locating appliances in the most advantageous manner. Her design expertise and guidance in selections of tile, cabinets, hardware, paint color and flooring, brought about a stunning result per the plan and cost quote. Coordination with the contractor by Annie, enabled a trouble-free, on time execution of the entire renovation. Thanks Annie!

Annie was very professional and easy to work with. The design was workable, simply explained and laid out. Choosing the cabinetry, hardware, paint colors, flooring, etc. went smooth and was well organized. I was also satisfied with the contractor and vendors that she coordinated with, as they worked well together. Communication was always updated and open. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of work and organization of this company.

Great! Annie was able to make maximum use of the space to create a beautiful and efficient kitchen and dining area. She solved a dilemma with an obstruction in the ceiling and the result was amazing. She is very detail-oriented and has a sound knowledge of design. She was open to changes we made. And she is just a gracious and upbeat person!

Annie did an amazing job with our complete kitchen remodel. She worked with us every step of the way to turn an ugly 70-year-old galley kitchen into a beautiful modern farmhouse kitchen and family room with a huge island, shaker cabinets, beautiful finishes, and a very functional design. She knows the BEST places to order counter tops, cabinetry, appliances, hardware, lighting, etc. She is super responsive with communication, and was very patient with us when we changed our minds about some things! Our experience working with Annie Miller on our kitchen remodel was great! This was an over-whelming project to us. Annie guided us through the entire project effortlessly. She knew all the details and helped with all our selections. She reassured me when I doubted my own selections and she was right! She was very professional and easy to work with. She was responsive quickly to all questions. She works closely with Tom McCane Construction. They came together from the beginning for the estimate and worked together throughout. We interviewed three other designers and chose them hands down even though we had to wait a little longer to start. I highly recommend Annie. I would use her again. And we love our kitchen!

Working with Annie at Kitchen and Bath Interiors Designer has been an amazing experience. She was very helpful with the finalization of the kitchen backsplash. I found Annie’s polite professionalism very refreshing as she conferred with me in every aspect of my project: my interests in the type of tile, the prompt follow-up answers to my questions, and the arrangement and cost of the job. I am so delighted with the outcome of the project. She is worth keeping as a designer.

Annie was just the right person to work with us on this extensive project. She very quickly sensed our tastes and made suggestions and recommendations accordingly. She realized we prefer bright interiors and made the designs accordingly. Her recommendations regarding paint colors have been excellent. She perfectly scheduled two "selection days" and routes so we could optimize use of our time and still choose all materials and fixtures. When we needed extra shelves, etc., she quickly made those orders. And she connected us with McCane Construction for the actual installation, which has also done an excellent job on this project. We are very pleased that we chose Annie Miller for this project.

We worked with Annie for a remodel of our only full bath. Annie is a pleasure to work with, provides great design advice, and will work with you throughout the entire process to ensure timely, high-quality work. She also has great contractor and supplier relationships, which is an invaluable asset. Totally worth the cost! Our bathroom ended up taking 3-4 weeks of actual construction, where we didn't have access to a shower. That included Christmas and the NY holiday, though. We met with Annie in September or October to pick out cabinets and fixtures, choose colors etc. She took all the measurements and put in the order. We also got our estimate from her contractor around then - technically a separate contract, not Annie's subcontractor. We had a few issues come up. First was upgrading our electrical for a heater (totally worth the extra $$ to have a heater in there). Second was our wavy floors and warped walls which created some hassles. We also had to lower the ceiling to accommodate the depth of the new fan. Contractors worked with us to find solutions to these problems. Glad we had contractors doing this, because it would've been a real hassle for DIY, especially as I've never renovated a bathroom before.

Our kitchen project turned out great! Annie was wonderful to work with and developed a great design. Her advice on colors and materials was also great! We would definitely recommend Annie’s services.

Annie was great to work with. On the initial meeting she took the time to listen to what I was looking for and really incorporated my ideas into her plan. She went above and beyond during the picking out process and everyone comments how well the kitchen is put together and flows. It was nice to get the 3D rendering of the final project. It helps to make it easier to envision before you start the remodel. Annie has great taste and a wonderful vision to know what will work. I have since asked for her opinion on some finishing touches and she is quick to respond to my questions. She came to my house on several occasions to check on how the installation was going and to make sure everything was correct. I would definitely use her again should the need arise.

Annie is very organized. All the materials arrived on time for the contractor to do his work. Annie was always available to answer questions and was involved with the building process. I would not hesitate to use her services .

Annie designed a beautiful master bathroom update. She did an excellent job drawing up a design and selecting materials that perfectly complemented items that we wanted to keep (vanity cabinet, floor tile, tub, etc). Her design was on point and perfectly reflected my style and the style of my home. She provided a couple different options, so my husband and I could make informed decisions on finishes/products and the impact to the budget. She was very professional and personable and ensuring our satisfaction was always her top priority. She was very responsive to questions and concerns. I absolutely love the finished result of my master bathroom - it is truly a spa retreat. I would definitely recommend Annie Miller Designs and plan to use her services on a future design for our laundry room space.

Annie was recommended to me by a friend, and I'm so glad I listened to his advice. I had talked to two other designers before meeting Annie, and was uneasy with their designs and communication. Meeting Annie was the answer I was looking for! First of all, I was totally impressed that BOTH she and the contractor she uses came out together to talk with me and look at the job. And they BOTH came back together to present the plans! Here was the communication I was looking for! I was reassured that yes, the wall that was between my kitchen and family room could come down, and we could accommodate more storage in the island, and would not have to refinish the floors that had just been done 2 years prior. I absolutely love my new kitchen, and wouldn't change anything about the process. Everyone who came in was friendly and thoughtful, and the workmanship is top notch. My questions and concerns were listened to and addressed promptly. My kitchen and laundry room are not huge, but we made use of every inch, and they work like a dream. They also did two additional drywall repairs for me during the time they were here working on the kitchen project. I will be calling Annie back for any future projects for sure! You truly do get what you pay for.
