Overall, I would said things were "fair." We were scheduled to close on Monday the 29th and on Friday the 26th at about 2pm Angie called to tell me there was a screw up with the title and closing was postponed indefinitely. I understand this was not her fault but she really seemed to have no clue what was going on. The listing agent and Angie were both in the same office and I think that hurt my situation because she didn't really seem to fight for me, more asked him for advice. I ended up paying almost $700 in storage fees and an extra month's rent. When I asked Angie to put that I wanted reimbursed for those costs in the contract extension, she said that the listing agent told her if I asked for that they would cancel my contract and sell it to someone else. I later found out this was untrue and the most the could do is refuse to pay the reimbursement but they still had to sell me the house as it was their screw up and not mine. Angie was very nice but seemed very new and inexperienced. I often found myself calling personal friends to get answers to questions that she was clueless about. At the closing the selling agent didn't show and they had lost some more paperwork which Angie couldn't find her copy of either. I was more organized than Huff was and they asked me if I had my copies because they had lost theirs. I would definitely not use Huff Realty again because there focus is obviously on making the sale and not on providing any level of service or satisfaction.
