Thermostat went offline, could not reconnect. Bruce showed up in 15 minutes, after I called for service. He. He rebooted Wi-Fi, removed unit from wall and reset. Took all of 10 minutes.

They did a good job and recently put in a new AC in my house as well. I would highly recommend them.

It was excellent. They are on time, they clean up real good, and the price is decent. They are good company and I recommend them.

The two service men were very prompt and courteous - professional in their work and had the air conditioners repair in less than 1 hour. Had them service two different locations and one was on a Sunday - needing repair right away as the day over over 85 degrees and one member of the household was home less than 24 hours following heart surgery. I would highly recommend this company.

The bid was competitive, in addition to Angie's List the company came highly recommended by friends who have used their services. They showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner.

It was just a tune-up. They also installed our heating and air; we purchased it from them; but I can't even remember when that was - 2013 maybe. Just one worker came out to do the check-up and he was good.

Fantastic. The technician made several trips to our home to correct our problem. He stayed in contact during the time it took to correct the problem. We had been told by another company that we either needed a new furnace or a $1000 fix. You guys pointed out and demonstrated this simply wasn't the case. In addition, the quoted rate from the other company was much more expensive than it should of been had it needed to be done. Honesty and integrity are values I hold in high esteem. You have earned a very happy repeat customer. Well done!

On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest rating, the technician was a 10. He was very thorough in completing his work, and professional and courteous in his demeanor. He is one of the best technicians who has ever serviced our heating and cooling system since we have lived in our home for 30 years.

All applicable parts and units of air condition were checked professionally and cleaned where needed.

Everyone with Air Plus was very kind, and we can't say enough good things about them. They did a good job with the installation, they thoroughly answered our questions about the work and the system, and they helped us with the installation of a NEST thermostat. Ultimately, they did a great job, and we'd highly recommend them to others.

. The owner, Rob, was very nice and spent plenty of time with us, both during the estimate visit and the follow-up visit. His crew members were friendly, polite and professional. They never seemed to mind any questions from either my husband or myself. (I have found that some workmen talk down to women but they did not). They protected our rugs, furniture, and doors as they went in and out with the equipment. They arrived on time and worked hard the whole day. They cleaned up before they left. At the end of the 1st day they already had our air conditioner up and running and the hot water back on so we were never left needing anything. The 2nd day they finished the furnace and duct work and odds and ends. We would recommend them.

Rob Raby and his team inspected my HVAC on a Saturday with 1 day advanced notice. They did a complete job and they were on-time as promised. This is a great company.

This company wasted my time, took my money (for no visible value served), insulted me, and left me with a bigger headache than before they were invited into my home. I knew I needed a new furnace & called this company for a second opinion / bid. When the tech came to my house at 9:00AM – he told me I had dangerous CO2 levels. But, I have a gauge (that his company instructed me SPECIFICALLY on how and where to use 3 days beforehand) that tells me there are NO dangerous CO2 Levels - in fact no CO2 registers at all. Then the tech tells me these gauges do not work – pretty ironic when his company office manager was the one who instructed me on their proper use and NEVER said they don’t work. Furthermore, the web shows absolutely NO problems, complaints, or recalls with gauges of this type that I could find in a search. That same tech shuts off my furnace – when I tell him to leave it on and agree to sign a waiver stating so.(& it’s going to be 20 degrees that night), he tells me I need a new furnace (which I knew before he came), leaves loose parts lying around, and tells me his company can replace my furnace the very next day if I want them to. Before paying the $91 - I get verbal agreement from the tech that he will send me formal bids and that I can review in detail before signing the final purchase agreement. But - what I do not tell the tech is that (prior to his visit) I had already decided to use his company for a new furnace (of his basic bid around $3,250)…so I agreed to his $91 (which he assures me will be deducted from the $3,250) Near day end I call the company telling them I still need the formal bids the tech promised, need my furnace turned back on (for the 20 degree night) , and want to schedule a furnace install – and THEN get blown off for 4 consecutive phone calls over 2 hours. Finally, everyone but the owner has gone for the day. As it gets colder and colder I call in again on the afterhours emergency line around 6:00PM (because his people have not yet returned my calls)……the owner THEN tells me he’s scheduled out 7-10 days (or maybe even more) and begins to insult, lecture, and talk down to me. I listen to him make excuses for his people and tell me the situation was my fault for taking his people at their word - then, astoundingly - he hangs up on me. If this company cannot or will not deliver as they promise (before taking my money), and if the owner's people are apparently misinformed or uneducated on proper business protocol, or technology – it is HIS responsibility to fix....Not my problem and NOT at my expense or time wasted I will be demanding (not asking) that this company return the $ 91 I paid.

We contracted Air Plus to replace our residential HVAC system, which was approximately 20 years old. On the date of the installation, the crew arrived at the time that was stated. The installation took two days. When they arrived, they protected our carpet and hardwood floors with coverings. The crew removed the old unit and installed a new furnace and outdoor A/C unit. We asked them to move the outside unit to the side of the house, which was accomplished with no problems. At the end of each day, any areas that they worked in were thoroughly cleaned. After completion of the installation, the owner of the company performed a walkthrough to check the installation and provide usage instructions. Air Plus also completed the paperwork for us to receive a $200.00 rebate from Duke Energy, which arrived a few weeks after completion. We would certainly use Air Plus again for any future work.

It went very, very well, from estimate, through removal of the old equipment and installation of the new, to the Duke Energy rebate. Rob and Missy were in constant contact ensuring that all went well and it did. There were no problems. They did a great job and i'm enjoying my new furnace, especially on these cold nights and days.

The Hot Water Heater died. The guy came out and looked at and said it was dead. He said it would take about a week to fix it because they were busy. My wife talked to the guy and had them come out that same day and fixed the water heater for me.

Excellent. I first called them 2 months ago to add freon to our old A/C system. They added it, but warned me that the system could not be guaranteed to make it through the summer, since it is already 17 years old. They were absolutely right. The whole system stopped functioning at all about a month later. So I called them back about replacing it. I also called several other places that came and gave estimates, but Air Plus was by far the cheapest. I also wanted to replace our aging furnace and water heater, which they were happy to do, again at a very fair price. The workers were on time, professional, pleasant, and did a great job. Everything looks great and I couldn't be happier.

I got an appointment from Air Plus the same day I called. The service representative was on time and fixed the problem quickly. He was both personable and professional. A very easy company to work with.

They were very good. They were very patient with all of my questions and were neat. They wore boots when they came in the house. We checked with another HVAC company and their estimates were about the same but Air Plus Heating & Cooling their maintenance program is only $89.00 a year for 2 visits. The only thing that we didn't know up front and we wish they had told us was that there was a certain percentage for using a charge card for this purchase. It covers their extra cost for using the card. They didn't tell us that up front and that was the only thing that my husband didn't like. We were also wondering if we ever sold the house, about the way they did the water line for the humidifier and we came to the conclusion that they didn't have a whole lot of choice about what they could do. We did a lot of research out there and their prices seemed very fair. They called back a couple of times to see how things were going and to see if we had any questions and said don't hesitate to call and one of our technicians will come out. They are very easy going and easy to talk to. We will continue to use their services in the future. I would most certainly recommend them to others.

My ac unit was not putting out any cold air, I called this comapny and teh owner himself came out and cleaned out the ac with water and put freon into the unit. Than he checked all the vents inside and made sure they wre all blowing out cool air, I was very happy with the service. A few weels later i had to call them back out to work on my heating system, the weather had turned cold and I tried turning on the heat overnight, it blew ou cold air no heat. So I called Air plus heating and cooling and they came out, lit my pilot light on my hot water heater and on my heating unit, also replaced my thermostat which was broken. I got several quotes. I live on the 4th and 5th floors of a condo downtown and he said that he didn't have a lift to install the copper pipe on the side of the building; that was the reason I didn't go with him. He was knowledgeable and professional.

They were referred to me by my son who’s been using them for the last fifteen years. I asked him who he’s been using, because I thought to myself that I have not been having any luck here. My son told me that he’d already talked to the owner and I gave the owner a call in early December. I told him the way I had been running around and all these problems, so he asked me if I had done a leak test. So I told him that they had not mentioned it to me and he said that this is the first thing they got to do. He said the problem I’ve got right now is, with this credit that the government has been giving for new heating and air conditioning which is not valid anymore. Then he said they can get it for us right after Christmas and do the leak test. Even though I had the system completely charged by the end of June or July, I lost my heat pump. On the 20th of December, on a Sunday I had no heat. I called the owner of Air Plus and told him that I am in trouble and I have no heat. He said that he would send his service manager in a couple of hours. I’ve done business with this guy. I never paid him a penny. They didn’t say it’s going to cost me double. I came out that Sunday and they got everything running again that day. On the 26th of December they did the leak test. They showed up on 26th and put on the system, came back two days later and said the damage has been done. I’ve got a serious problem now. So they explained to me how my whole system got corrupt. So they said that I would have to replace my entire system or I could do it in pieces. They said the lines might be contaminated and that they might have to run new lines from the heat pump to the furnace which was going to take it right through the finish of the basement area. They had to tear the ceiling out. To make a long story short, they said there might be a way to flush out those lines, put into the system and still get the energy credit. So they did that in the end of December for me. So we had a lot of same problems again, which they came back and corrected in the end of January. They said in April if we put a new system it comes free charged with free on, but everything will not be completely right and they would have to come out and make final adjustments when it gets warm. So they said they would come out in April and make the final adjustments. They were responsive cause when I called them and if they were not there they would return my call. I would use their services again in the future.

Things went well. They were responsive, courteous, efficient, and got the job done.

I liked everyone that I dealt with. I liked the person I dealt with in the office. She is very friendly and always seems to remember me and the situation. I also like the owner a lot. He goes out of his way to make sure that we have good service and that I don't have to spend extra money. Its a small company but I feel like they are all on the same page, and a worker does not get lost in the scuffle.
