Overall good job and price, but lots of dirt left behind on my driveway and sidewalk

We used Chris Pope and his crew to do a yard clean up as a Chistmas gift for our family in Cincinnati. He came in and trimmed, pruned, weeded, raked, spread bark and hauled away debris. Our son-in-law said it was the best Christmas gift ever! The yard was transformed. Chris was thorough, effecient, and reasonably priced. We are very pleased with Chris Pope's service and would certainly use him again.

Everything went very well. The yard had become a real jungle, and over the space of a few days it was all taken care of. Everyone was professional, up front about the cost, prompt, and thorough. I am thinking of setting up a monthly or bi-monthly schedule starting in the spring to avoid the jungle issue again. They were great!

So great! The team came and did the work thoroughly and quickly. They even removed debris from my back steps, swept up grass clippings left over by a different grass cutting provider, and removed fallen tree branches that had been a nuisance in the backyard for over a year. My garden, lawn, and mulch looks refreshed and lovely for the fall!

The service is good and the people clean all the weed quickly and clean up the bee hole under the ground. Everything looks good now.

He didn’t come once a week. He hurried through. He didn’t have anyone to help most of the time. He didn’t trim.

After a few delays due to equipment issues the work was performed in one day, The workers were polite and helpful and did a great job of cleaning up and clearing the debris. They worked all day in very hot weather with only a short break.

I contacted Chris when I could no longer keep up with the yard and landscaping this summer. He was able to fit me into his schedule even though I am not around too many of his other customers. He texts me before cutting my lawn, to make sure it needs cutting. He has always kept me in the loop if there were any delays or questions. He also quoted landscaping services for my front yard and he and his crew took my overgrown with weeds landscaping beds and transformed then with trimming, edging, weeding, and mulching. If I ever text him with questions or concerns, he always answers promptly.

There is an Issue with attention to detail

I had communication issues and service delays with Affordable Lawn Care. Their bid came in the lowest so I selected them based on that and the owner's willingness to work with me on adjusting the price after I offered to perform some of the prep work myself, such as weeding my flower beds and removing and replacing a dead bush. I should have insisted on a written proposal instead of relying on text messages from the owner because there were numerous misunderstandings as a result of that. Because of equipment issues (his truck broke down and the second one was in an accident) it took him several weeks before he could finish my yard. Afterwards, I had to ask him to come back and redo a section of my yard that I felt was not done as expected providing more mulch and trenching my island better so the mulch wouldn't runoff in the rain. Overall, they do good work but it took too long to get the job done.

I chose to go with a different service, but it was a very close call. The communication was prompt and I appreciated their follow-up. I will consider them in the future.

I was very pleased with what they did. They were very professional, and they didn't stop until they were done. The bed looked really good by the time they were finished. I would definitely recommend them.

I needed help finding extra hands for my in-laws in another state as requested by my mother-in-law. Affordable Lawn Care was very prompt and communicative about getting out to the property and providing an estimate. Despite a very fair and reasonable price, my father-in-lawn declined the help and still wanted to do the work himself. Lesson learned: don't get in between your in-laws! I would definitely hire Affordable Lawn Care if given the chance. It was pleasant just getting a professional response back in a timely manner compared to other people I contacted

Mr. Pope was timely and did a great job . The weather did not cooperate to much but he got it done.
