Description of Work: When I called, I was told the tech would call within 2 hours. He called in 1 hr. The tech asked questions to narrow possible issues. He arrived in under half an hour, brought possible parts with him. The repair was made and I was advised. The tech was finished in 45 minutes. I should mention this was on the hot estate day of the summer so far.

Description of Work: Adams installed a new gas furnace into my home. While their prices were on the higher end in comparison to other companies we met, their knowledge and quality was far superior. They did an extremely thorough job with the install as well as all communication throughout the process. Was very impressed that they not only ensure the new furnace is working properly, but they also do a courtesy servicing of the AC and humidifier units to see that the entire HVAC system is up to par. They came back out a week to two weeks after install to check the work, take photos and see how we were liking the new furnace and it was at that time they finally took payment. That blew me away...I think that shows a lot of care for the customer to ensure 100% satisfaction before taking a dime! Will definitely use Adams again...they truly run their company with integrity, quality and customer satisfaction as their primary focus.

 + -1 moreThe old furnace had some on going problems that cost me a lot. They came, removed the old furnace and installed the new one. They made it very easy and were excellent. They cleaned up after themselves and did a very good job.

 + -1 moreAdams' representative showed up within 2 hours of our call, as promised. Their representative was professional and efficient and he communicated well with us as he examined the system. He was able to recharge our AC with freon quickly and its worked perfectly thereafter.
Description of Work: Our AC was no longer providing much cool air. After examining the system, Adams determined that the "freon" levels were low. They recharged the system, and its worked fine ever since.

Description of Work: My furnace, on the coldest day of the year, would short cycle and not keep heat on and it was 61 degrees. I made the call, after a cold night, at 8 am, and the man came from Adams at 10:45 am. After checking the furnace, it was electronic issue, but a pipe was not slanted correctly and was not draining. He changed the position of the pipe, the heat has been on and within hours, the house is a comfortable 71 degrees! The charge was only $75, that was $75 well spent and now I am warm!

 + -1 moreWhen our oil furnace quit working. I called our regular heating/ac serviceman and discovered that he was out of town. His voice mail referred me to another company who was unable to come out that day but they referred me to Adams. I called and was told that someone would be there within two hours. Their serviceman-Charlie-arrived within the two hours. Discovered what was causing the problem, and replaced the part in less than an hour. Needless to say we were very pleased. We will keep their phone number handy for any additional services needed in the future.
Description of Work: Replaced spline running from motor to pump.

 + -1 moreOUTSTANDING. WHEN ORIGINAL A/C COMPANY COULD NOT PERFORM OUR PROJECT WE SCOURED ANGIE'S LIST FOR A REPLACEMENT COMPANY, BUT NONE COULD COME CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. FINALLY A NEIGHBOR RECOMMENDED ADAMS. THEY MATCHED THE ESTIMATE (NO ONE WAS TOLD WHAT THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE WAS) AND PROVIDED ME WITH THE UPGRADES I DESIRED. AT ONE POINT WHEN I ASKED ABOUT SPENDING MORE ON A HIGHER BTU FURNACE THEY ACTUALLY TOLD ME TO SAVE MY MONEY - I DIDN'T NEED IT AND IT WOULDN'T HELP. WAS ALSO THE ONLY COMPANY TO HAVE ME AN ESTIMATE ON THE SAME DAY I CALLED THEM
Description of Work: INSTALLED NEW 90,000 BTU 92% EFFICIENCY FURNACE, 3 TON 12 SEER A/C UNIT, ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT SYSTEM, HUMIDIFIER, AND UPGRADED AIR FILTRATION.
