Mark did a good job with his estimate. Scott did a good job and was professional and knowledgeable. He explained the process on his first work visit and provided before and after pictures. Scott was very pleasant and polite.

Owner called back with one day of my call. Came out quickly, explained what needed to be done and god us on the schedule the next week. Worker was on time, professional and called to explain what he had done at the end of day one very satisfied with service and would recommend this company.

We just purchased a home that had mold in the basement. Mark came in and performed a mold test. He was very professional, and communicative. After he found mold, we had a second company come out to run a second test so we could verify that both companies matched, and they did. In the end we chose to work with Action Mold Removal because of their professionalism and competitive price. They removed a bunch of garbage from the basement, including cabinets, and old bathroom, and an old work bench. Mark was very accommodating and his crew was always on time and great at letting us know what was going on. We definitely recommend working with this company, our experience was top notch!

The first time I had the mold testing done, and the company that did it at the time, did the test at the house, so they gave the results immediately and there was no delay. They were a little more comprehensive. I had to wait, and there was remediation recommend but I have no need for a remediation immediately. I suppose if he had taken pictures, and done a little more than just taking air samples, I would have graded them more. There was not enough of expertise as I was hoping. It was good to a degree. It went very well. Mark was very responsive when I requested an estimate. He came right on time for the appointment. Buddy did the actual work. He was also on time, very professional, and had no complaints about moving my belongings. He explained the process and was smiling and friendly the entire two days he was there to do the work. He did an excellent job cleaning up after all the work was done. The floor was swept and clean. He moved everything heavy back in place. I had to move smaller items back against the walls later because he told me the paint should dry for a week before anything was placed against it. I had to be out of the house both days from about 10:30 until 5pm. As I mentioned above I didn't know that I would have to move my smaller items back myself after the paint completely dried. It wasn't an issue for me - I'm writing this so others know what to expect. The only estimate I got for the work was from Mark, mostly based on the other high ratings on Angie's List. I did do some research by looking at other vendors on Angie's List who did the same type of work and the rates seemed comparable, but I cannot validate that this company had the best rate. However, I would recommend them to others in a heartbeat.

Testing was quick. Provider was professional. Received report within promised timeframe. Test did not find any issues/concerns. Son's Dr said that was rare, most companies will find something for you to pay for/fix, so appreciated honesty.

Prompt. Courteous. Offered solutions for the problem even though thankfully mold was never suspected, and not found. We tried his suggestion and it solved the issue.

Contacted several companies to obtain comparable quotes. Action Properties was the first and most prompt to respond. Action properties also was very responsive to our time line and found a way to fit us in their schedule in order to meet our needs. Prompt, professional working staff, that showed up and worked hard to completion. Very nice work. No complaints.

Looked them up on Angie's list as we suspected that we had a mold problem in our upstairs closet. Did a message on their Angie's list site. Mark, the owner, called me withing 10 minutes of my message being sent. He was professional and seemed to care. He was going to be in the area and said he would come out approx. 11:30am. He arrived slightly before 11:30am and did an assessment and inspection. My wife and daughter were there and told me how professional and helpful Mark was. The inspection showed NO MOLD was there. I emailed Mark to thank him for his prompt and professional service and to ask how much I owed for his inspection. Mark said "No charge" but requested I remember him if we ever needed his services. After I purchased the Big Deal on Angie's List, the company owner, Mark Smith, promptly contacted me to set up an appointment to perform the mold inspection. Mark arrived on the agreed upon date, and proved to be very professional and thorough. Mark performed a visual inspection of the areas I was most concerned about, and took three air samples for testing by the laboratory. Fortunately, the air samples indicated there were no mold levels of concern. Mark answered all my questions, and before leaving made sure I was satisfied with the work. If I have future mold concerns, I would use Action Property Management, LLC again.

It was a fantastic experience. Very professional and answered my questions. Went above and beyond the call of duty. I've used this service before and will continue in the future.

Decided not to spend $3,500 at this time since my crawl space was negative for mold. Inside house was positive but will try a small dehumidifier for now. If not helpful would definitely call this company back for help Their treatment recommendations were impressive. Unsure about pricing but believe them to be in line with others.

The service was great. It was for my residence. There were no additional charges to the $179 Big Deal cost. There were no unexpected issues. It took them about twenty minutes to half-hour to finish the job. I would probably use them again in the future.

Mark answered his call within a few minutes and answered all my questions. He showed up on time and did exactly what I asked of him and for 50% less than the competition. He spent more time than I expected and went out of his way to make sure my house was thoroughly checked over with a no mold diagnosis. Then after the inspection and after I PAid him he still helped me out and answered questions. If you need a mold inspector do yourself a favor and call this guy first! Thanks Mark.

We have had some water problems at the house in the past and there was occasionally a musty odor from our furnace room so we decided to get checked for mold. Mark came out and performed an air and visual inspection. It was a relief when he said usually when he gets called people have a large amount of visual mold and we did not inside the house. However he did locate two places in the crawlspace with black mold. He said the areas were dry and the mold was likely caused by old leaks likely from our shower and sink or toilet. He only had two containers for the air inspection and adjusted the price of the testing accordingly down to about $200. We received an e-mail of the report the following day showing all levels were normal inside the house. Mark said the levels may be elevated at times due to the mold in the crawlspace being pulled up through the vents. Mark also included an estimate for remediation. Mark called twice within the following 2 weeks (primarily my fault for not returning his first call) and checked to see if I would like to have the work done. He never tried to pressure me or rush me along and answered all of the questions I had about the process, concerns with pets, etc. I was able to schedule the remediation for two days after I spoke with him and he said his worker, Buddy, would arrive to do the work. Mark informed me I would need to be out of the house until about 5pm during the treatment and any animals would be fine shut in a room with the vents closed. Mark said the remediation involved spraying a cleaner on all the wood joists in the crawlspace and scrubbing them down. Then a cold air fog was sprayed on all surfaces and a sealer was used on the areas with visible mold. Buddy arrived on time but was nice enough to call on the way to say he may be late due to a large amount of construction traffic in our area. Buddy immediately got to work after answering some more questions I had about the process. He also requested if I could leave a door unlocked so he could leave some supplies inside overnight so they wouldn't freeze. When we returned you couldn't tell anyone had been inside the house except for the few tools Buddy sat neatly just inside the door, no mud tracked in or anything despite it being wet outside. There was a faint odor kind of like paint which dissipated quickly once I turned the furnace back on and was not bothersome. Buddy left a large fan/ventilator running at the crawlspace opening overnight which he said sucked out all the spores, etc. in the air and then was blowing clean, filtered air back into the crawlspace. There was minimal noise from the machine and did not cause any problems sleeping. Buddy returned the following day and re-treated the crawlspace to make sure nothing was missed. When we returned on the second day you couldn't even tell anyone had been at the residence doing work. Buddy shut the gate behind him and cleaned up all the trash. He also is the first person who has inspected/worked in the crawlspace to put the door back on correctly, it can be a bit tricky. I received a receipt via e-mail for the amount I was billed later in the evening. A special thanks to Buddy for driving so far each day and for braving the unseasonably cold weather on the first day. A few days after the work was done I opened the crawlspace to check things out. It was clear all the surfaces had been treated as they were covered in a nice layer of what looked almost like blue paint. The crawlspace also smelled clean and no longer had the musty odor I was accustomed to. It has been almost a week since the work was completed and my wife and I agree the air inside feels cleaner and my allergies have not been as severe, hopefully this continues. Mark and Buddy were both very professional, friendly, and treated my house with respect, which I appreciate. Hopefully I will not need their services again but if I do I won't hesitate to call them back. I also wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for anyone needing their services.

They did exactly what the deal stated. The testing was okay, but they did not answer my questions the way I had hoped. They did send a report afterwards. They did an alright job for the amount of money I spent. My father primarily dealt with the technician. My father said they were vague on the answers they gave when he asked questions. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Mark and Buddy showed up punctually on the scheduled date and again explained what they were going to do. The work took two days, during which the house had to be evacuated. Mark was informative and professional throughout. I would recommend Mark and his company to anyone who needs mold remediation.

I had a water leak in my kitchen. It was fixed by a plumber. I had a strong odor in my kitchen. I thought it might be a mold problem. I checked Angie's list and saw Action Properties had recommendations. i set up an appointment with Mark Smith. He came to my house but really didn't inspect the areas were the water leak was. I was charged 2700.00 dollars. After the treatment I still could smell the odor. i called Mark Smith and he said to give it some time for the treatment to work. I waited three more days and the odor was worse. I called my insurance company and ask if my claim would be paid. They sent out a water damage and mold specialist. They said that very little had been done. That the dry wall and insulation were still wet and some spray had been sprayed. The job was poorly done and had to be done again. I talked to Mr Smith and ask for a partial refund as insurance declined to pay the claim. He has answered my emails with the job is over and i am out the money I spent to do the work. I feel I was overcharged for a poorly done service.

The house we lived in was very humid due to the extra build ons that were done prior to us moving in. Mark was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. He kept in contact with me and sent me everything through email so I could keep reports and know what was going on. I knew it wasn't going to be cheap because anything dealing with mold is never cheap but I was ok with paying what I did. Everything went smoothly and we haven't had one problem since. I would definitely-although I hope to never have to see them again-use them again if I were to have any more mold problems-no offense to mark but mold is just not something I ever want to have to deal with again!

Because the sellers had the work performed before my client closed on the home, we were not present during the work. However, I returned to the project today to review it (after getting a VERY clean mold test result) and was very pleased with the thoroughness of the work, He was the only remediator that agreed to keep working on the problem until an acceptable post test came back. I found this very valuable. My "prices" do not include the air quality tests performed before the remediation, nor the ones after. I would highly recommend them in the future. I work with about 5 different air quality mitigation companies on a somewhat regular basis and he is my new "go to guy"!! The invoice came in as quoted. The other company that competed for the job came in at over $1600 higher. They quoted doing a lot more, but it seemed like a lot of "overkill" and that company would NOT guarantee an acceptable post test level.
