Accurate Pool & Spa Service

Excellent! Called me the night before to tell me when they would be here. Arrived on time. Did excellent work with no problems. I will definitely use them again!

Appointment made for week of July 4th, about the middle of June. June 25th, Accurate called and asked if they could come Friday, June 28th, as they had a cancellation. That worked for us, so we changed the appointment. Accurate said they would call Thursday evening with an arrival time. No call Thursday. When I called them Friday around Noon, the lady who answered said they had a "family emergency" the night before and were unable to call, but the tech would call our house 30 minutes ahead of arrival that day. No call Friday. No tech. No answer when I called. No answer Saturday. No call Monday. No call Tuesday. Left another message Wednesday July 3. No answer. Not sure what is going on with them, but they will not get any more of our business, even though we have used them several times.

They do a fantastic job. They’re very reliable, have great quality of work, and are reasonably priced. So happy I found them!

After an unfortunate misunderstanding a year ago, we had Accurate come back out and provide another chance to repair discussed issues from a year prior. Not only did Kevin and Co. make it right, but they went above and beyond. Not only were we satisfied with the service, but until otherwise we will not use another pool service in town. They will fix the issue no matter what and they will always look out for the customer's best interest. Thanks Kevin and Co. We'll see you again, but hopefully not too soon :)

Excellent. We use this company all of the time for our pool and hot tub. They are prodessional, courteous, and competitively priced.

Kevin and Tim were fantastic. They were responsive via email and phone to diagnose problem and schedule an appointment. Upon arrival, they were prompt and he took the time to explain exactly what he was doing and shared preventative steps we could take to ensure optimal pool performance. We look forward to working with Accurate Pool and Spa Service again in the future. They are MUCH BETTER than other local providers.

Kevin and his sons did an EXCELLENT job!! They talked us through al of the decisions to make, kept us fully aware of what potential costs we might run into. He gave us the "worst case scenario" on the costs, and came in about 20% under budget. If it had been "worst case", we would have been ready for the cost.

Job Still Not Complete After 4 Months We had a problem with our hot tub at the end of Nov ?14. It suddenly stopped working, no power, nothing. We called Accurate Pool and Spa and they were able to come out quicker than another place and they seemed to have good reviews. They came out and tested everything and said it was probably the circuit board. They said they would give us a call on how much it would be. They didn?t call. I had to call them and leave a message. Little did I know this would be the ongoing pattern for the next 3 months. They finally said it would be $800 for the aftermarket version or around $1200 or 1300 for the original version of the circuit board/spa controls. We opted for the aftermarket since they assured us it would work the same as the original. Again, time would pass, I would have to call them again, leave a message, wait for them to call, call again, leave a message, and then finally get a hold of them. Usually after yelling on their machine is when they picked up (yes they hear your call). After about another month, they finally put in the new equipment. Everything seemed to work except I didn?t test the lights. After they left, I realized the lights didn?t work. Called again, left a message. Called again, and they told me they knew the lights didn?t work and was looking for another part to put on it to make them work. Another round of phone calls and they finally come out to put it on. This was the end of Jan '15. They worked at first, but then the next day they stopped working. Another round of calls. Finally got a hold of them and they said they were checking on a part and would call me back and never did. I?m done with them. I don't have time to constantly call them and hope they call back. Here it is March ?15 and the job still isn?t complete. Terrible experience.

I had used Accurate before to service this tub with good results so I called them again. The two service people who showed up were courteous but did not identify the problem. They said that I should try using Swirl Away, a common spa line and pump cleaner to clear build up that was clogging the lines. I did and it didn't. I called another company (Plumb Tech Services) who replaced the pump and motor. The jacuzzi now works as it should. I can understand Accurate's having suggesting a cheaper and simpler fix to start but since they knew what the problem was before they came out they could have brought a line cleaner with them, tried while they were there and moved on to begin fixing the tub. Instead, they left me to order the cleaner on line, find out that it didn't work and then decide whether or not to call them out again. I decided no to.

VERY PROFESSIONAL, EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE, WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE NEEDING POOL OR SPA MAINTENANCE. Kevin and his son showed up to fix our hot tub that was not working properly, it kept flipping the high voltage switch on the hot tub. My wife and I watched for a little while as they got started, Kevin explained his company and how he was teaching his son the trade. Eventually we left them to do their work and about 30 minutes later they told us the problem. We had a bad circulating pump and pressure switch and the cost would be around $400 to fix. We agreed to the work and set up a time for them to return. On the return visit a few days later Kevin's son showed up by himself, explaining that his dad was at another job because they were so busy. He started the work and it took him about 45 minutes to complete it. He in voiced me $430, which I questioned, and he gave me some explanation that I felt was semi-sufficient. The hot tub was working great but after I turned the heat up with everything on it switched off again. Quickly I called their office and began to tell the lady the problem and how they were just there working on the hot tub, I then looked out the door to see that he was still in the driveway. As I ran outside he was pulling out and I waved him down and told him there was a problem. He went down to look at it and was able to eventually remedy the problem, not to sure what it was but it was fixed. My wife, of course, wants it up and going ASAP so I emptied the hot tub, refilled and added all my chemicals. Upon trying to turn it on the bubble blower now was not working. This made my wife skeptical that something fishy was going on and it may have been intentional. This was not the case but it was a thought. I, again, called the office and the lady got the information and said he would return today. He called me to find out the issue and said he would come back after he completed his last job. He indeed came back and looked things over and came to the conclusion that we needed a new blower, which I couldn't believe. However, he did say to wait because it may have air in the lines and could possibly come back on in a couple days. About an hour later I went to check on it and when I pushed the button it came on, although shortly after it shut off again. So this went on all day, but the next day it came on and stayed on. So I guess it was just something we had to wait out, sometimes when you change water there can be an air lock which can cause things like this. I was so relieved and thankful that I didn't buy a blower, which I almost did. I had a feeling it wasn't bad so I didn't. About three weeks later I went out to turn the hot tub on and nothing was running and it was dead. My wife again thought there was no way anything should be wrong after they were just here looking at it and thought something fishy was going on. She was almost to the point of wanting to call another company and I was almost feeling the same way. However, I looked them up again and saw that they have an A rating and a lot of really good reviews. So I called again and set up a time for them to come back. This time Kevin came himself and as we watched closely he quickly realized we had a bad relay switch, which was evident when he used his volt meter to bypass the relay switch and the hot tub came on. He told us we had a bad relay and I asked how much is that, he replied $35. I felt relieved that we were not dropping another couple hundred given we were getting in territory where it would be better to just replace the whole box and everything. Thankfully he had the part with him and within 30 minutes he was finished and had everything all packed up. I went out to meet him and asked what's the damage and he said $70, $35 for the part and $35 for the labor- no trip charge. I just made it for $75 and was glad, given I expected it to be much more. The moral of my long story is this... They are a small business in the middle of peak season, there were times when I called and didn't reach anyone and didn't get a call back. However, I just stuck with them and got really great service from a great company. I don't care who you call right now nothing is going to get done yesterday like everyone expects, it's peak season for that stuff people everyone is busy right now. So instead of passing judgment because they don't have staff working 24 hours a day to answer your every question why not try giving them the benefit of the doubt. Especially when you don't even get any service from them what-so-ever. Who are you to give an F and a bad review, if you feel like things aren't progressing quickly enough how about trying to call back and get it straightened out. This is, from experience with their actual work, one of the best and most professional pool and spa repair companies in town. They are fast, accurate, experienced, dependable, and reliable. If I would have given up on them over some bumps in the road I probably wouldn't have gotten as good of service and probably would have paid 2 or 3 times more than I did. Think before you react people, try putting yourself in the shoes of others before passing judgment!!!! Thanks Accurate Pool and Spa Service!!

I have used accurate pool and spa for the past 2 years; their services are far above the prior 3 services we had. My calls are always answered in a timely fashion and the 2 rather emergency problems were quickly taken care of. ALl the workers know the equipment and can trouble shoot problems. The care and cleaning given the pool each week is excellent. In addition, everyone who has represented accurate pool and spa has been personable, professional and helpful.

Everything went very well. They did what they came out to do and more.

Nothing. Had an appointment for him to open my pool and he never showed up or called or even returned my call. I paid to be on this service so I wouldn't have to go through this, what a joke.

I called this provider multiple times and the phone either rang and rang with no answer; or, the answering machine picked up and I left messages. I never received a return call.

I called and talked to Kevin's wife first. She helped me troubleshoot over the phone. She was more interested in helping me than making money. What a nice person! It turned out that I needed my sand changed. They came and changed my sand in the filter. They also checked a switch because my pool light isn't working. It turns out that I have a bad switch. They were professional and honest. I will call them from now on. I loved them!

We highly recommend them. We had other guys come out to give us estimates and they were kind of different. They gave us real high prices and wouldn’t guarantee that this would make it work. The two guys from Accurate Pool & Spa Service came out and really looked at it, and gave us an estimate. They did the work for us. We would definitely use them again in the future. If it breaks down or if we need any maintenance, we would definitely call them.

Service cost are reasonable and Accurate was very responsive and even navigated the home warranty jungle for us. Accurate has made two trips to our house one to diagnose the issues with the spa that came with our house, repaired those, then filled the spa and returned a week later to verify the repairs and check for other issues. Finding none, they winterized the spa.

Linda was great, unfortunately, they do not complete this type of work. She did, however refer me to other companies that do this type of service. I just feel it is hard to find service like this anymore.

I am extremely happy with the service provided by Accurate Pool & Spa Service. This was my first use of Angie's List, turning here after not receiving good service in the past with other companies called to look at the hottub. This was my last chance and I could not be happier that I contacted Kevin and his team. There would two major problems which were promptly resolved. This all occurred on a hottub which was outside in freezing temperatures. Kevin and his team even made multiple trips trying to determine the exact cause of the problem and kept me informed throughtout the process. When I had the hottub looked at by other "professionals", no one was willing to order the parts and/or fix the problem...they were more interested in collecting a "service call charge" than doing any repairs. With Accurate Pool & Spa Service, I felt they were there to fix the problem and took responsibility to order and install the needed part. I would certainly recommend them to anyone in need of hottub repair and will definately call in them for help in the future. Thanks again! Josh
