Scott contacted me the morning after I purchased the deal for vent cleaning here on Angie's List, and was able to schedule us quickly :) He was here right on time, got to work and was on his way within about 30 minutes! He did not try to up-sell us services or products we did not need, and was very professional during his visit. We will definitely call Scott at ABC Dryer Vent Cleaning again next time!

Our old dryer quit working due to a poor (dirty) vent line. The vent line runs in a crawl space under the house. I'm getting too old to get under the house to clean the pipe! I called ABC and Scott came exactly when promised. He inspected the vent line from the dryer to the exit outside. Scott found that the outside vent was plugged up from chipmunks! He cleaned the pipe and replaced the old outside vent with a new vent. The new vent has an easy to clean, removable pest guard. After he cleaned the pipe, he went into the crawl space for the second time to ensure that everything was just fine. Scott finished the job by using an air flow meter to confirm the proper amount of air was flowing from the dryer. ABC Dryer Vent Cleaning, owner by Scott Surface, is a first class service company. Scott is a professional who knows what he is doing. His experience shows through with the techniques and tools he uses. 100% recommended!

While having the roof of my Bellbrook home replaced the supervisor found that the dryer vent was venting into my garage attic. and that someone had just used a flexible hose (a no no) when it had been connected. He said to get it fixed or it would damage my new roof. I called ABC and Scott, the owner, answered the phone. He said he could look at it in a couple hours. He came and gave me an estimate. He came the very next day to fix the problem. He replaced all the solid venting in my garage, redirected the new venting, plugged up the old hole in my garage ceiling, and replaced the flexible tubing in the attic with solid tubing. He also got on the roof to check the outside vent. Afterwards he cleaned all the built up lint from the back of the gas dryer. He was here 2.5 hours and I think he was sooo worth it. I feel safer and I will now have him clean every couple years.

I have a rental property, and my tenant complained that dryer didn't work well. It was found that the duct diameter was too small, and needed to be lager. I called one company, and they gave me a quote for ~$600. I shopped around, and got nearly half price from ABC Dryer Vent. He came on time, which was after 5PM with no extra charge, and completed the work at that night. He nicely installed new dryer vent with the valve on the roof. He gave me a 15% discount, and the total cost was $272 + Tax including labor and materials. I believe it was quite reasonable for over 3 hour labor and all materials (duct, vent valve, etc.). I recommend him for everybody who needs dryer vent repair and installation.
