Got to my place and wanted $1,200 to remove already broken down boxes. Absolutely despicable. Absolute money grab!

fine. i think they are rather expensive, so would only call them for trash couldn,t get in back of truck.

Arrived on time. Expensive! One of the workers complained about lack of sleep. Damage done to stairway carpet. Will need to be replaced. Workers did NOT notify us of damage. When contacted they stated that they did not notice damage. Contacted regional manager. Sent photos. He stated he would get right back to us. Have not heard from them yet. Would absolutely never use again.

The overall cost was nearly $400. I paid a local dumpster rental service $200 earlier this year and put more trash into it. This service is great for small loads you want gone NOW. Otherwise, don't waste your money.

They got everything, even an old refrigerator in the basement that needed the back base cut off to get it out from behind the bar

Three young men and a truck arrived on time - actually a little early by my request. We walked around the house to survey what needed to be removed and then, provided a cost estimate. They immediately set about removing the agreed to items. Overall, they did excellent job, and were very easy to work with throughout the entire project!

The service was ok but there was a lot of back and forth as to what amount of junk equaled the $200.

The guys at 1-800-Got-Junk were great. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They are fast and professional. They arrived early, but called to ask if that would be okay. When they got to the house, all we had to do was point at the unwanted items and they took them out of the house and put them in their truck. We had quite a bit of stuff, but it only took them 30 minutes from start to finish. Great value and wonderful service.

Same day service, very friendly and professional. will not use again too expensive. $158.00 to remove a television.

Greg and Jaime were great! They called when they said they would, showed up when they said they would, and did exactly what they said they'd do. They started by walking through my house as I pointed out (totally embarrassed) all the junk I had. They were completely professional and told me they would handle everything. They were quick, efficient, and careful to maneuver about my other belongings. I would definitely hire them again!!

The company stayed a few minutes extra minutes. My total cost was $218 of which I paid $18. They were absolutely wonderful, professional, accommodating, and respectful of my home.

We use them all the time. They send emails all the time for discounts so I got $40 off this service. They are very, very professional. They are in uniform and they show up on time. They call ahead of time and they are super, super fast. They clean up afterwards.

Overall, they did a great job! I scheduled them for a same-day pick-up. They were very nice, friendly, and professional. They even made sure to clean up the area before they left, which I really appreciated. My only criticisms are: 1) They should have been more up-front about the cost to haul away stuff. I didn't know until they arrived that they charge extra to remove things that have freon (e.g., window a/c, refrigerator). 2) They called to say that they would arrive between 5:30 and 6:00 and they actually arrived barely by 6:00.

I had an excellent experience with this company. They could have scheduled my pick-up the day after I called if I was available then, but I wasn't. It was easy to get the date and time I did want. The driver called me about a half hour ahead of time and arrived in the middle of the two hour window I was given. They gave me an estimate of the amount of space my junk would take up in the truck and what the price would be when they arrived and they were correct in their estimate. I appreciated that the company uses small pricing increments based on how much of the truck is filled so that you aren't paying for empty space. I was surprised that they could get everything I had in one truck - they are great packers! I had several large items, including a sofa, a queen mattress and box springs, and 2 old TV's, plus about 1/2 of one side of my 2-car garage full of small pieces of furniture, old light fixtures, etc. I also had a few items in other rooms in my house and a pile of bricks next to my patio . I was surprised that the 2 employees were able to load everything up in about an hour and even swept out the side of my garage holding all of the junk. I told them it was necessary for them to sweep out the garage, but they said that it was part of the service. I would definitely use this company again!

When I was quoted a price over the phone, i was not told there is a two hour minimum.

They called beforehand to let me know when they would arrive, and arrived on time. They gave me an estimate before starting work and the final price was actually lower than the estimate. They cut up all of the long boards so they would fit on their truck, loaded it, and hauled it away.

Good communication to let me know when they would arrive. They worked quickly and were very careful when moving item through the house. Highly recommend!!!

Great, 2 guy crew were very professional and finished the job in about 45 min. They called ahead and arrived on time at the front of 2 hr. window provided that morning.

They took a truckload of things away and cleaned up very well.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it worked out fine. They came when they were supposed to come, so I liked that. They took what they were supposed to take. The service was just average and not exceptional, but they did what I wanted them to do.

We were very pleased with them. We had purchased a big deal from Angie’s List. There was a discussion that we had to pay $40 extra other than the big deal as when they came and saw the stuff they thought it was too much and we told them that we wouldn't’t pay extra. They filled the truck and then the remaining they brought it out from the trash and put it out in the end of our driveway. We just wanted to get rid of it whether the trash takes it or the junk takes it, it was fine. So they swept up the basement so beautifully and they were just perfect. They did an excellent job. Other than the slight difference of opinion about whether or not it was a pickup truck, they were excellent.

The two workers from 1-800-Got-Junk arrived on time and gave me an estimate based on the volumn of items I wanted removed. Although it seemed a bit expensive, it was competitive and I liked that the company recycles over half of what it collects, thus keeping it out of landfills. They removed the items quickly and carefully, and when they had loaded it into their truck, stacking the items as compactly as possible, the cost was actually less than what the estimate, so I was pleased about that. The workers were professional, worked quickly, and were very courteous. I would definitely recommend them.
