We had half of an old pool deck that had to be cut down and dismantled, it was way too much labor for my husband and me. They spent a good amount of time sawing and taking down the wood and all metal from the pool and deck. The wheeled it all the way up to the front yard and truck. I liked their service also because I did not need to prep all things to be discarded. They went into a very crowded attic and pulled out the items I needed to throw away. This was the second time I used 1800declutter. The first time, there estimate tool was spot on. Based on how that experience went, the next time I went directly with them, didn't even contact anyone else. I again used their online estimate tool, asking for a couch and chair removal and received an estimate of $99-$119. When they arrived, I had been able to give the chair away, so it was just the couch. The gentlemen gave me a price of $189! When I mentioned the estimate, he stated that the online estimate is off and he wished they wouldn't use it. When I balked, he brought the offer down to $129. I had taken the day off to get this done, and did not want to reschedule. I'm guessing that is what they are counting on. Overall I felt like that was a fair price. Just felt like I had to fight for it. Please remove your online estimate tool if it is going to be "off" that much.

I put in for a request on Angie's List to have 9 rolls of carpet and 9 rolls of padding hauled away. 1-800-Declutter responded and told me they would beat any offer I got by $30. When I told him the other offers were all around $150 he went into a very long rant about how the other companies (Junk King, Got Junk etc) were lying to me and going to charge me a different price when they got here. After he spent a few minutes insulting these businesses, I chuckled and said to him, "I guess this means you don't want to do the job $30 cheaper than anyone else?" His angry rant was over the top and uncalled for. I didn't ask him to undercut anyone, I just asked for a quote. He was the one who said he'd beat anyone's price by $30. You don't sell your business by putting other businesses down. I finally asked him to just give me a price and he responded that he was not interested in my job. So first he was going to give me a deal then he doesn't want the job. This guy was extremely rude and I have no idea how he stays in business.

They were awesome! I started off with an estimate of half a truck, but ended up filling it to the point where the door almost didn't close. The guys worked really hard, didn't leave any mess and took out whatever I pointed at. They gave me a 15% Angie's List discount, the price was very fair. They were able to haul away old paint cans. I was very satisfied with the job.

The overall service was good. The team was slightly later than scheduled, but they had informed me earlier that they were a running a little behind schedule. I was a little upset when they arrived and gave me my final price, which was about 20 - 25% higher than the online tool estimated. The main guy said the tool was "off" but didn't give much more explanation. I needed the stuff gone so I didn't argue much over the point. However, I would have second thoughts about using them again. If the online pricing tool is off that much, it should be updated. In my opinion, anything more than a 10% difference is price gouging.

Nick and his assistant did an excellent job. Prior to arriving at the house, Nick communicated several times during the afternoon about a slight delay in arrival. Kept me informed as the delay was out of his control (traffic, weather). The job was performed efficiently and thorough. Highly recommend.

I am moving and downsizing to a smaller apartment. Years of leftovers from old roommates had left me with way too much junk to try and get rid of by myself, so I needed it hauled away. I scheduled my appointment online a few days in advance. I found the price estimator easy to use, and it ended up being fairly accurate. I chose this company primarily because the prices seemed much more reasonable than others I'd seen online. I scheduled for the 8am - 10am slot, and by about 8:10am I had already received a call letting me know they were 20 minutes away. Alex and Javier were polite, efficient, and had loaded up a couch and a 10' x 10' room full of rugs, old electronics, a vacuum, garbage bags and many other odds and ends in a little over half an hour. I have a ton of stairs not only from the street to my house, but I am in a second floor apartment. They made no complaints, just got to work. I was not looking forward to this process, but it turned out fine and am so thrilled it's all gone and out of the way. I would hire again, and I would recommend to others.

From their website I scheduled an appointment for 11am to 1pm March 13. I received a confirmation email of my appointment a week before and it stated they would call me 30 minutes before they arrived. On the day of the appointment no one showed up, no one called. no one left a voicemail nor email saying why. I took the time off work to be home and waited a full extra hour beyond the 2-hour window.

It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Speaking with Scott Harris on the phone was great. He was pleasant and took time to explain the aspects of the charges for the various services and how the experience would go. Alex and Jessica were the team that did the work. They too were excellent. The were prompt, polite and professional. They worked very hard and worked straight through, not slowing down, not taking breaks, not even taking the drinks we had provided for them. They completed the work much quicker than we anticipated and the work was done very well, no shortcuts, no poorly done work. The price they charged was exactly what Scott had quoted me from the beginning. There were no sudden last minute hidden charges. What I was quoted was what I got. I highly recommend this company in all aspects and would definitely use them again. Thanks very much!

Alex and the 1800Declutter team were awesome! They were very professional and respectful of the property. They really went above and beyond to clear out the mess, saving us huge amounts of time and hassle. The trucks used are larger than competitor's and they packed them full. The price was very reasonable and well worth it!

First of all the customer service was fantastic. The employees showed up when they said they would. I had more trash than I estimated so the cost was 3 times what I expected. The containers that are used are small and I didnt think they were filled to capacity. If I ever need this service again, I would shop around a little more.

Nick and Jessica were clean, neat, and professional. They were polite. They assessed the areas I needed to have items removed, and within 2 hours, all was on the truck and 18 cubic feet of unwanted items were out of here!! So pleased! Will use them again. Highly recommend this company.

These guys are the best. We always use them. Very professional. They do an amazing job. They even clean up. I can't say enough. Great price and great service. They're less expensive than 1-800-GOT-JUNK and they do a much better job.

Great! The Declutter employees were prompt and professional. They seemed pleased, actually eager, to help us accomplish our goal of a cleaner basement. Some items had to be moved in order to move out the ones we did not want. They moved those wanted items and then happily put them back in place for us. Sweeping up was part of their service and even though I said it was not necessary, they insisted. It was obvious that they were focused on customer satisfaction.

It was raining out and they handled it very well.

I first used 1-800-Declutter on 12/14/13, when three men showed up, and filled up 7/8ths of the truck with old furniture and other items that I needed to dispose of so that I could begin remodeling my house. This time (2/3/17), two of the same men that I had met back in 2013 were back, and we remembered each other. Alex and Nick were wonderful back in 2013, and just as friendly and professional this time as well. I've recommended them my brother and to several friends: they experience wasn't just 'painless', but actually pleasant.

They did very well. For about 20 minutes, they were done. They did a good job. The workers were great and I appreciated that they donated what they could to charity. They left the area very clean.

The men from 1-800-Declutter were amazing! So friendly and understanding, and some of the hardest workers we have ever met. We told them what went and it was gone before we could blink. I loved the work they did for us.
