Mike (owner) is very hands on. It's a small business and subject to the vagaries of Mother Nature, but overall, they do a great job of getting the work done despite the weather.

This price is per visit for the summer months for mowing and edging. In the winter months, they are very busy and it is harder to get them to come out exactly when I want. Their prices are comparable to others, and their prices are based on a contract. I will continue to use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

That was part one, they are coming back to finish everything. But so far they did such a good job. I will probably use them again to finish up the job in the Fall.

They do a very good job and show up when they are supposed to. Sometimes it is harder to get a hold of them for snow removal because they are on the road.

One day after my contract ended, we had a big snow fall. MJO came and plowed my driveway without my asking them to and later sent me a bill for $20.00. Because the first half of the contract was basically no work for them because there was no snow fall, I felt that plowing me out a day after the contract ended was only the honorable thing to do.

MJO Lawn cuts our front lawn weekly. As their service is very dependable, I asked Mike if they also did landscaping. I explained that our plan was to eventually put the house up for sale. Mike worked to make the front of the house look very attractive without being too costly. There was nothing left anywhere in the yard that would indicate all the work that had been done. Our front yard was left immaculate. I would recommend MJO Lawn Inc. to anyone wanting to completely redo or even just refresh their own landscaping. Mike returns phone calls promptly and is very patient with all my questions - even when I called him on a Thursday night while standing in major home improvement store trying to decide if what I was buying was the soaker hose that he had recommended for watering the plants with a timer.

MIKE WAS VERY PROMPT IN HIS INITIAL CONSULTING. CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY, AND SEEMED VERY REASONABLE IN PRICING (BALLPARK AT THE TIME). HE MENTIONED HE WOULD GET A QUOTE TO ME, BUT I NEVER GOT ONE. CALLED HIM 3 MORE TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE.

TORE UP LAWN. CUT GRASS WHEN IT WAS VERY WET. DID NOT REPAIR IT.

RETURNED MY CALL PROMPTLY, THOUGH UNFORTUNATELY DOES NOT PLOW IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD. WAS HELPFUL WITH ALTERNATE SUGGESTIONS.

THEY SHOW UP REGULARY AND KEEP THE LAWN MAINTAINED WELL THEY HAVE BEEN DOING OUR YARD FOR PROBABLY 4 YEARS NOW. LAST FALL, THEY REMOVED SEVERAL STUMPS, CLEARED AN AREA OF OVERGROWN IVY AND BUILD NEW BEDS FOR US AND DUMPED 20 CUBIC YARDS FOR DIRT AND SPREAD THE DIRT AND SEEDED GRASS. THERE NO STAINS IN THE YARD OR ON THE DRIVEWAY AND IS WAS PRICED FAIR FOR THE LARGE AMOUNT OF WORK THEY PERFORMED, NO TRACKS IN THE YARD AND NO STAINS ON THE DRIVEWAY.

WE HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR 4 OR 5 YEARS. OUR NEIGHBOR IS ALSO A REPEAT CUSTOMER. WE HAD A SNOWFALL AFTER THE CONTRACT PERIOD (04/15) EXPIRED, AND MJO LAWN STILL PLOWED OUR DRIVEWAY. WE PLAN TO HIRE THEM AGAIN NEXT YEAR.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB. WE HAD A HUGE RAINSTORM SHORTLY AFTER INSTALLATION. ALL THAT WATER CAUSED SOME PROBLEMS. WE HAVE A DIFFICULT BACKYARD TO WORK WITH AND THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS PROBABLY MORE OF A B+. MIKE WAS EASY TO WORK WITH AND HE WAS ALWAYS COMING BACK TO CHECK UP ON THE LAWN. I WOULD USE HIM AGAIN.
