Description of Work: Nothing, he never called me back. I left a message with the receptionist and no one ever called me back.

Description of Work: I clogged my kitchen sink and seized my disposal. Water was sitting and we couldn't use the sink or dishwasher. I called one other place first. They didn't know if they could come same day and would call me back. After 2 hours I called McHugh's. The owner called me back right away and told me Steve would be out in about 20 minutes! Steve arrived and within an hour, unclogged the drain, repaired the disposal and cleaned everything up. He was really nice and politely suggested I not dispose of rose stems in the sink again. It was $134.00, very reasonable for plumbing, it seemed. Plus everyone I spoke to was so nice and friendly. I will definitely call again but I hope I won't have to.

We bought a home and it had leaks in every shut off valve, toilet, sink, etc. He installed a pressure reducing valve on the main because Aurora water is at 80+ psi and my fixtures, water heater are rated for 60, he installed a new main ball valve because we could just barely shut off the old one, he installed a new gas line to our kitchen for a gas stove, he capped off all the old washer and slop sink connections and installed a new slop sink in our upstairs laundry, connections for hot and cold, and got us a new disposal, and fixed the plumbing leaks under a sink. ! Description of Work: We had a problem with our water heater on a Saturday and I called but didn't leave a message. Mr. McHugh called me back anyway within 30 minutes and he immediately knew what the problem was when I described it over the phone. He came out right away and described the problem to me, showed me how to check the part in the future. He also performed another minor repair while at the house.

Description of Work: After having another plumbing service in twice to help resolve an almost total loss of water pressure throughout the entire house, Bob (the owner) and another employee spent the time to figure out exactly where the problem was. They systematically went through the various pieces of the our water system. Once they isolated the problem, they were able to fix it. We have not had water pressure this strong in several years. Bob also sent an estimate of some additional work to be done on the system in a very timely fashion so that this problem will not recur. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Description of Work: Once again, we needed some plumbing work done. The lines that provide water to our second floor bathroom sink appeared to be leaking, filling our new bathroom vanity with water that could cause it to rot. I called Bob Mc Hugh of Mc Hugh's plumbing. He explained that they were completely booked all week with jobs, but when I told him what a great inconvenience it was that our bathroom sink had to be off (we are a family of five, and that was one of two second floor bathrooms), he assured me that he would be sure that either he or one of his employees would stop by within a day or so to look at the problem and try to take care of it quickly. Within 24 hours, sure enough, they did stop by to look at the problem, and found that they had the parts needed to fix it right then and there. They fixed it by raplacing some kind of a line (pardon me; I don't know much about plumbing) and it was no longer leaking and we now have our bathroom back in use. I was very thankful that Bob made it a priority to take care of us promptly even though they were extremely busy as it was. I highly recommend this service.

Description of Work: I was having my bathroom remodeled and when the shower surround was torn out it was discovered that the builders left the pipes on the outside of the framing instead of the inside. The pipes need to be moved inside the framing so the backer board could be installed against the framing. I had to find a plumber so came to Angie's list and found McHugh's. Bob was very friendly and professional on the phone and Joe came out and did the work and he also was very friendly and professional. He did a great job and will definitely use them again. Ironically enough, the guy doing the tile work in my bathroom was looking for Bob's card so he could give me the number - so I picked the right plumber after all!

Description of Work: My driveway/garage drain needed to be snaked out because it was draining very slowly. This is a recurring problem because of nearby tree roots getting into the drain. I used McHugh Plumbing last year for the same service when tree roots clogged the same drains. Despite their busy schedule they responded quickly. This time, I asked them to snake out all my downspout and footer drains as well as the driveway drain. Bob McHugh suggested using a camera to inspect the drains, check the overall condition of the system and then snake out areas where there were clogs or problems. We ended up snaking out the driveway/garage drain and one downspout drain which I ended up replacing myself. I received a follow-up phone call from Bob McHugh about a week later asking if there were any drain problems and it their work had been satisfactory. McHugh Plumbing gets an A+ in my book.

Description of Work: Called McHugh, and he came the next day, and they were very thorough cleaning out the drain in the kitchen. I have had this problem before and had another plumber and McHugh got the job done much quicker.

Description of Work: We were experiencing slow drains in our bathroom sinks and tubs. Also experiencing sewer smell on and off in one bathroom. Upon his arrival, Bob McHugh immediately began his diagnostic tests to see where the problem or problems existed. These included snaking a camera the entire length of our sewer system out to the road and up to the bathrooms and beyond. Camera indicated where one problem existed and upon inspection of sink drain, two more issues were discovered. Bob explained exactly what the problems were and what needed to be done to remedy them. We are having him return to take care of all the plumbing problems.

Description of Work: Replaced three gas valves with 1/4 turn ball valves, checked for leaks, installed new flex connector to the dryer and stove in the kitchen, rearranged gas pipes in basement so they are safer and then he snaked our m bathtub drain which was the original job I called them about.

Description of Work: Intermittent sewer gas odor. 3 previous reputable plumbers could not find source, but charged for changing wax seals, etc. Bob McHugh admitted to being very busy when I called and apologetically said it would be 2 weeks until he could come. But he came the day he said he would, was very professional and solved the problem. I was prepared for smoke test, breaking into walls etc., but he checked house plans, moved worktable in basement to uncover the hidden offending drain, and poured water in the dry trap. It sounds simple, but it was a tremendous relief to stop breathing methane!
