Description of Work: They did caulking in the bathtub due to a water leak, adjusted the hot water tank to make the water come out of the shower hotter and set up the shower head so it's easier for me to use.

Description of Work: replaced my pressure tank for my well. connected a water line to my refrigerator. All went well. I liked that they call before to confirm up the time. Even called a few days later to be sure all was well. They were neat, wore covers over their shoes while in my house and were very professional. Can not say enough nice things about this company. Even walked me through everything to show me what they did and answer any questions I had.

Description of Work: I had a water heater replaced about a year ago. They repaired some water lines at the same time.

Description of Work: Replaced 2 leaking shut-off valves in the basement. Also freed up the cold water lever on the stationary tub faucet. Don't recall the exact date but believe it was in the Spring of 2013. 2 plumbers came out & were very nice, courteous as well as professional. They also used quality product for the replacements. I've had no further problems with these valves. I will consider McHugh's again for any future plumbing issues.

Description of Work: I had a mysterious leak between the kitchen sink and dish washer. I was concerned because I have a 6-gal. hot water heater, an instant hot, and a really complex plumbing situation. In addition, my garbage disposal was making a wierd noise. McHugh came out same day and the fellow figured out |that the grout around the sink was leaking, and that a rubber molding from the disposal had fallen in, which he extracted. All pretty embarrassingly simple, but since it's out of my bailiwick, the peace of mind provided was worth the fee for the service call.

Description of Work: We called because of a leak from the kitchen sink. We'd had a previous service call done by McHugh's on 12/27/13 for the same problem, which seemed to resolve it for a while. However, when the technician, Matt, arrived on 5/5/14, he diagnosed the same problem that had been identified in December. A new strainer basket was needed; Matt did not know why it had not been replaced on the December visit. However, he immediately called Bob McHugh and then told us that we would not be charged for the service call or labor, only for the replacement basket (which was $35.00). Matt also showed us where there was severe corrosion around the garbage disposer seal that would lead to a different leak in the near future. (This should have been pointed out also in December.) Matt did the work, left the area tidy, and apologized on behalf of the company for the previous apparently incomplete repair. on 5/6/14, we received a followup call from Bob McHugh asking whether we were satisfied with the work Matt did and with the resolution of the incompletely done work in December (which we were). I agreed with ordering the needed new part for the disposer, and Bob said that we would be charged only for the part. When I told him that we were very pleased with Matt's work and professionalism, he said that he would be sure to have Matt come to do the disposer repair when the part came in. We continue to be very satisfied with McHugh's and wish to recognize Matt's work in particular.

Description of Work: Water would not turn off on both bathtub facets. Please replaced the insides and it works great. He fixed it in about 20 minutes.

Description of Work: They were prompt,friendly,and understanding that we had a budget. They have an extremely reasonable turn around time to be able to replace a toilet. We were able to band aide our problem for the time being. But now we are aware of cost,what will need to be done and timeframe.
