Description of Work: Replaced vanity sink and rebuilt water closet.

Description of Work: Called them to snake a bathroom sink drain. The snake wouldn't snake and they had to cut into the wall to access the pipe. Before doing that they carefully explained why they had to cut the wall and how much it would cost. They cleaned up after themselves and were very well-spoken and professional. I can safely say that McHugh is my go to plumber.

Description of Work: Bob McHugh came to my house and quickly replaced a water pipe plug that had failed. Bob McHugh has done all the plumbing services in my house. I highly recommend him.

Description of Work: said he would contact me as he could not set a date as he had to see about children's school that week. never heard from him. Sems to be a theme with Angie list "Pros" I see where the DIY movement started.

Description of Work: We had a clogged drain at a rental house. They scheduled with the tenant and took care of it. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I contacted this company online through Angie's List regarding a problem in our bathroom - that was on Monday. They responded by email promptly, but from there it was a wild goose chase - and nobody could give me a straight answer, neither Mr. McHugh nor his secretary Ginny. We had three days of waiting to hear from them with an answer about scheduling an appointment, but I never got one. Finally Mr. McHugh called back at the end of the week (late on Friday), but by this point I was done with the shenanigans and sought out another provider. The right hand of this company does not seem to know what the left hand is doing. I originally chose this company because the guy's name is on it and I felt like that enhanced their reputation, but I was wrong: I do not feel that this is a reliable company.

Description of Work: We've had to have some toilets replaced, a dishwasher installed, a new sink installed and a water filter installed as well as a handful of other small plumbing needs that this company has handled over the past few months.

Description of Work: 2 toilets installed and faucets installed on utility tub. Everything went very well.

Description of Work: They helped us out in a pinch when our shower valve was leaking. They had a service man in the area, and sent him over very quickly. The valve was replaced in a professional and expedient manner. We thought the price was a little high, but in light of our need, they performed admirably.

Description of Work: needed a new shower intalled, involved building a floor base and doing tile work afterward. also had some drain work done as well.

Description of Work: Bob came out on a Saturday to assess our outdoor faucet issues, leak and relocation. We both had limited time available and agreed to postpone until next weekend. |Next weekend two of Bob's staff came. They completed the job within the timeframe we needed, they cleaned up the work area and were very courteous. Hopefully we don't need Bob's services again, but if needed I would not hesitate to use or recommend McHugh's. |

Description of Work: Called McHugh's on Monday, 6/15 after finding a leak under the kitchen sink, but they could not have a repairman come to our home until 6/19. In all fairness, I understand that due to extensive heavy rain all week, McHugh's plumbing was very busy with emergency work. Bob McHugh called Friday morning to say that Steve would be at our house in approximately one-half hour. Steve detected the cause of the leak, very quickly, and purchased required fittings to install our new faucet. I felt the cost was a little high but we are pleased with the result. I would call McHugh's again for plumbing repair.

Description of Work: Have used McHugh's a number of times over the years - nice, easy to work with, good quality work. Bob and his crew have done some major plumbing work at my house and my mom's, and have done a number of smaller jobs as well. They do a great job.

Description of Work: Toilet service, including replacing wax seal, inlet water tube, and flush assembly. They were on-time and professional. Though I felt they were expensive, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, as I felt confident that the work was well done. |
