Bob, the owner called to keep us informed as to when he was coming. He arrived on time, was very professional & offered to check a problem out for free but couldn't access the area due to work being done there. He fixed our issues and installed a very nice stainless sprayer, not plastic like the 2 we had installed within a fews years of each other by some one else. He was in and out in no time and was very clean about his work. He put on shoe covers, which not all contractors do. We also like the idea that his company does not sub any work out, we like that. My husband and I enjoyed talking with Bob and we believe we have finally found the plumber we have been looking for. Thanks

It was GREAT!!!! Bob quoted me a great price that was within my budget and very reasonable. The workers were very detailed in their installation and clean-up. They even put up with alot of annoying questions from my cousin. I was very pleased!

Great! He arrived on time for our scheduled appointment. Put on protective foot covers and solved the problem immediately.

All of my phone calls were returned in a timely fashion; I made an appointment for my service and John arrived at the designated time. I had initially planned to only change the toilet values and "guts" but, it was quickly pointed out to me that other values were in need (one of my sinks had no on/off values) of replacement. At no time did I feel like it was a "hard sell". John explained it to me, pointed out short comings and left the decision up to me. The service was provided in a swift, accurate, clean and friendly fashion. I also enjoyed $20 off the service call for being part of "Angie's List" (thanks Angie).

We were very pleased with McHugh's responsiveness. Tom was at our house within three hours of our call. Upon completing the work he asked if any other plumbing work was needed and provided an estimate for some other less pressing issues that we plan to address in the future. He gave us the $20 coupon for Angie's List members without us even having to ask for it.

Job 1: Overall, Bob came to our house very promptly and even called when he was stuck in traffic. He performed the repair in a timely fashion and in a very professional manner. We would recommend McHugh's Plumbing to all our family and friends. We also thought the pricing was very fair. Job 2: A drain was plugged in my house. It caused the kitchen sink and utility sink not drain. I tried everything myself to fix it, from using Assault to snaking it myself. I called McHugh's Plumbing. He had some one out there that day. The person who came had to go into a crawl space to try and snake it, but that didn't work. He then went to the utility sink drain and snaked it. That worked!!! They did a great job

Everything went well. I called for a service call on the sump pump, but suspected it needed replacement. When John, the plumber, arrived he said the pump needed replacement and gave me a price, not an estimate, for the job and then did it. He left the work area in a clean and neat condition. I did not get other estimates for the job and do not know how good the price was.

Excellent -- McHugh's was very responsive, professional and punctual. Their prices were very reasonable, especially with the $20 Angie's List coupon.

He was magnificent. He checked before doing additional work and helped solve some long standing plumbing problems.

I have them on my speed dial in case I need to call them. They are very responsive. Whenever I call with a problem, no matter how small it is, the owner Bob gets back with me as soon as possible. They then come out to do the work. They are just a great company to use.

He was thorough and fixed our issues. They were quick to resolve any issues, and arranged for necessary companies to fix the ones they could not like the washing machine itself. I would continue to use them.

Overall good. John was excellent! I discovered that the main water line was leaking at the outside basement wall while excavating to waterproof that corner of the basement. I called McHugh s and the company sent John within a few hours (John was finishing up another job at the time I called). Because the water leak was getting worse McHugh s agreed to send John out the next day to make the repair. Again John was great! However, John s assistant (a relative of the owner) was just slightly better than useless. I ended up doing a lot of the leg work that the assistant should have done. The assistant took forever to find parts, arrived late, spent much of the time he was on site sitting in his van talking on his mobile telephone (and I mean 45-60 minutes AT A TIME), and left early before all the clean up was done. I would hire John again in a minute, but if the company sent out the assistant I would hire someone else.

Bob was very courteous; called back and told me he did not have the capability of doing this work at this time. He highly recommended another firm to do the work. I appreciate that he was honest with me and was able to give me an alternate. His recommendation, by the way, was everything he promised (he told me that the other firm was "the one" to do a gas line repair, and he was right).

I called and left a message with Bob and he called back within 5 minutes. We set up an appointment for a week later. I have had severe ice damning at my house and have been trouble shooting for some time as to prevent this issue. On the day of the appointment, Bob was running behind from another job and called to notify me. When he came he inspect my drains and performed a water test to see if my drains needed cleaned. He reported that my drains were operating properly. He recommended that he use his camera to see if he could identify possible clogs that were causing my gutters to back up. I declined to have this service completed and Bob decided to run the camera anyway to see if he could help with possible ideas for my ice damning. He did not detect any major issues but indicated that I might need to have some of my gutters replaced or re-pitched. He called a man that he has worked with to come for an estimate. The gutter man that he recommended came out two days later!

We have used them before and will use them again, they are great.

They did a really nice job. They cleaned up well when the job was completed. I have also recommend this company to my daughter as well.

We started by having McHugh's replace galvanized steel piping that had started to corrode and leak. They did such a great job that we hired them to install a clawfoot tub in a bathroom where a fiberglass surround tub had been installed in the 60's. McHugh's did a great job with the rough in as well as with the final finish on the chrome plated feeder pipes and valves/clawfoot tub. Then we decided to have a sediment filter installed in the basement to increase the lifespan of our other plumbing upgrades. In addition, McHugh's carried out various other small repairs/improvements on our plumbing.

He does very good work. I have had him before where he advised me to get a new water heater and I was really upset at first but he explained it well and convinced me. I am glad that I did that. I have had him before and I trust him and I have his magnet on my fridge so I can call him if I need him. He didn't do the work himself but his brother did all of the work. He ran around getting parts for everything. They did a good job. I am rather pleased with it.

He is very good, exactly punctual, very polite and efficient.

Job & service went very well. Plumber covered shoes upon entering and exiting the house to keep carpets clean. Quickly replaced the seal around the toilet and no more water leaking into the dining room!

Great, They were prompt neat and fixed a problem that another plumbing company said would require a whole new line and thousands to repair.

He did a fantastic job. He has good equipment able to get through our poorly maintained lines and his camera has a locater so we could discover exactly where problems were. He helped us figure out what we needed to do and suggested coming back to kill the roots which he subsequently did.

THEY ACTUALLY CAME OVER THE DAY OF THE PHONE CALL. I CALLED IN THE MORNING AND BY THE AFTERNOON THEY WERE HERE DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM IN A TORRENTIAL DOWN POUR. THEY GAVE SEVERAL OPTIONS OF WHAT I COULD HAVE DONE TO MY SUMP PUMP. WE CHOSE TO REPLACE THE PUMP AND RE-PLUMB THE DISCHARGE. THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY QUICK AND HE EXPLAINED THE MECHANICS BEHIND THE PLUMBING, THE PUMP, ETC...
