The quality of the work was excellent, everything worked properly, we were very satisfied.

Everything is good as far as I can tell; however, their price is a little bit high. On the other hand, it's good that their plumber called me ahead of time to inform me that he had to take care an emergency situation. He was well enough to work with. They have their people come out on the days that they said they're gonna come out. Everything worked out so far. I got no real complaints.

They were very personable. They explained what they were going to do and they told us why it was beneficial to replace the valves. We spent a total of $1100. We think the price was fair. We would grade them B for responsiveness because we didn’t get a call back as quickly as we thought the second time we used them. They were nice people to deal with.

This was a tough job. Bob saw it through start to finish to ensure our problem was resolved in a timely fashion.

After some original scheduling mix ups ... Owner came out on a Weekend day & discounted service work. Completed Job Quickly & efficiently & gave me an additional 20% discount off of the original estimate. I would definitely use McHugh's again!

I was extremely pleased with their service and repairs. They only stayed 1/2 hour to correct my issues and even fixed another problem with a loose fitting hot water dispenser while completing their original repairs. The next day the owner called to ask how everything went and was I happy. I will definitely utilize their services again.

Bob used creativity and skill in bringing my kitchen and laundry-room plumbing up to code. He also liaised with roofing contractors in order to install a vent pipe at the right moment during the teardown of my old roof. While I was intending to buy a battery-powered backup system for my sump-pump, Bob suggested a battery-less system that uses the house's water pressure as its power source. This turned out to be an excellent choice, and I would not have known about it without Bob's suggestion. Throughout the project, Bob offered good communication via phone and email, which was especially important since I was out of state while the work was being completed. I had informed Bob at the start that my project was not urgent, so he worked on more urgent projects before my own, with my knowledge and consent. But everything was done by the time I was ready to move into the house, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. I would recommend McHugh Plumbing enthusiastically for price, communication, and the quality of workmanship and materials.

The job went well. I called several plumbing companies, and some of them were just disinterested. Though I am not in their direct service area, I spoke with the owner of McHugh on the phone and he said they have a guy on the west side that could squeeze in my job. He was there on time, did the job quickly, and charged a reasonable price.

I called for fixing of disposal and was told that it needed to be replaced. While he was waiting to get the ok from the company, I asked if he could install a ballcock in my upstairs bathroom which he did. He charged $40 to install it, but took off $20 for the Angie's List discount. The job in my bathtub could not be completed by him because he didn't know how and we're still waiting for his boss to complete it.

The owner, Bob, returned my call promptly and scheduled the work for the next day around 4:30 PM. He had to squeeze me in because he was on another job that went longer than expected, but my repair got done a little later as promised. That extra effort to keep his promise was very much appreciated. I also appreciated how he kept everything clean, protected the flooring, and left my kitchen as clean as he found it. He is very professional, efficient, and thorough, and the peace of mind is worth the price.

He was a very good diagnostic plumber. Anyone can install a toilet but he was able to figure out what was wrong with the shower. That was important because its hard to get parts and i didn't want to have to get knobs and handle. He was out over the course of several weeks and was here last Friday. I did have to wait a long time for him to come out. He was very responsive but wasn't very available. He was a very good communicator, excellent at his craft, honest, I had to wait a long time and the people that work for him are honest.

I've used them repeatedly over the years. They are just great. They are prompt professional, personable, and they communicate well.

Bob is very professional and takes pride in his work. We had a leak (stain on the ceiling was our clue) and he took the time to measure the area to pin point exactly where the leak was coming from above. He saved us from replacing a shower insert that was supposedly cracked (another contractor told us that) and found the actual problem. The repair was next to nothing and solved the problem. We called him back another time to fix a water hammer problem and he solved that, too.

They did an excellent job! Bob responded to my phone call quickly and was at my house for repairs within a few days. At that time, he provided an estimate. They took care of the immediate problems first, bringing in other technicians to get the job done, and came back another day to finish the repairs that weren't as important. In addition to repairing what needed to be done, Bob updated shut-off valves and checked other possible leak areas~he went above and beyond and did a very thorough job!

Bob stays in contact with you from start to finish. I never had an issue with communication.

We called Bob and left a message. He responded same day, and arranged a time convenient for me to visit for a quote. Since it wasn't an emergency, we scheduled a convenient time for me the next week for the work to be done. Bob called me 1/2 hour before the appointment to say he'd be 15 minutes late. I appreciate that. He was very professional, easy to talk to for both me and my wife, and did an excellent job using high grade materials. We are completely satisfied. We'll definitely use him again.

They came at a time convenient for me, listened to my thoughts about how to do the project, incorporated those thoughts, and improved the overall plumbing to prevent future problems. Future maintenance for these parts will be much easier now that they rerouted the plumbing into a maintenance friendly format.

They did a very nice job. Robert/Bob is very nice. He came when I asked him to. He was careful in not damaging the miracle method. He is very nice and answers his phone or calls you back. He's a very good worker.

Wonderful - very professional and friendly on the phone. Wasn't sure that he could make it out on the same day, and since it wasn't an emergency that was fine. Ended up being able to send out a team the same day and they were just as professional and friendly - and managed to clear it in about 5 minutes. They made sure that it continued to flush well several times after that, and charged exactly what I was quoted. I'll be sure to use them again, and recommend them to others.

First of all, I'm not sure about the date or the cost -- it's been awhile since the work was perform, so the date and cost are just approximates. We redid our master bathroom, installing new shower equipment as well as a new vanity. Bob did a beautiful job. He gave us a choice of individuals to use for the new tile, and coordinated with the tile person so that no time was wasted. He impressed us with not just the fine quality of his work but also with the fact that he always showed up when he said he would, and did what he said he'd do, for the amount initially quoted. I have since referred him to a friend who was equally impressed.

After receiving a call that my new gas dryer was being delivered I checked Angie's list for a highly rated plumber to do the install. I got right through to the owner and he said to call him back when the dryer had been delivered and he would see what he could do about getting someone out to get it hooked up. After the dryer was delivered, a plumber was out hooking it up within an hour. I appreciated the prompt and professional service and the owner fitting me into the schedule on such short notice.

He had good recommendations for us. He said he was going to replace a piece on a faucet for us, but never did. On a whole he gave us very good service.

Dan was the service person and he was here for two hours and he was excellent. He went over and explained everything and also gave me a few hints on how to keep my disposal sharp and clean. He also went over the bathrooms in the house to make sure the water levels were okay in the toilets and even cleaned up his mess and left everything very nice. He even came in with booties over his shoes to protect our floors.
