Great! I called McHugh's to fix a leaking hot water pipe. McHugh's promptly answered my call and sent a plumber (Matt) to our house within 2 hours. Matt inspected the leak/pipe and, in doing so, identified an additional leak point (under the bathtub drain) that had been created by another plumber, which likely explained a spot which had appeared on the ceiling a floor below. Matt repaired both items within a few hours. Matt exhibited competence, professionalism and cleanliness. It's nice to have found (at last) a plumbing resource that does good work and that I will trust to do any plumbing work going forward.

We are very pleased - fast response, professional, knew what was needed - and replaced - no more leaks!

My complaint is they gave me a price they did fine they did the work they did great but then at the end they told me oh well you caused something to do they had to do extra to clean out the drain luckily I had another contractor who was also a plumber. He said they needed to clean out the drain and that I didn't cause it so the pricing is the issue after the fact he was going to try to charge me more money. If I hadn't been lucky and had another plumber happen to be on the site doing something else I would have had problems with him.

Great service at a very reasonable price. Bob explained exactly why/what repairs were made. He also suggested work to be considered in the future due to the age of my home but by no means was this a high pressured, sales pitch. I will definitely call for any future plumbing work. Jason was great. Very professional. Suggested a couple of shut off valves be replaced which I knew needed to be done. He protected the entry way with a pad where he placed his tools, buckets, etc. Wore shoe protectors every time he came in the home. I requested an estimate for some future work which he provided me with before he left. Will definitely use McHughs's again.

A Eureka moment when you find a Professional that you trust to do the right thing...this is what I experienced. Bob is professional, courteous, explains thoroughly and I trust him. He has an customer for life!

Went very well. The plumber picked up the new toilet at the shop and delivered it. Removed the old toilet and replaced it with the new one. Very professional and quick installation. Price included cost of new toilet and seat and installation and removal of the old one. Clean up was excellent. No problems so far. Thank you.

The plumber arrived the same day we called. Snaked out drain and repaired pipe. Cleaned up fine and everything aok. Waited awhile to rate and still ok as of 10-8-2016. Very happy that we could get it fixed the same day.

One of the plumbers came out to our house and quoted an amount higher than I expected. A short while later, Scott, the owner, called me. He was in the middle of a job and our conversation didn't resolve the issue. Scott called back later in the evening and apologized for our earlier conversation. He said he was caught up in the middle of a problem and he shouldn't have tried to talk to me at the same time. He stated repeatedly that keeping customers is important to him, and he wanted to make things right. I really appreciated his effort to call back and apologize. I don't think you'll find many people who are willing to do that. I decided to go with a less expensive faucet, and Scott's changed the estimate as he thought it wouldn't take as long as originally quoted. Scott came out with another plumber. They installed the faucet, fixed the leak and were done very quickly. He was polite, friendly and professional and thanked me for the business. The total cost ended up being $50 dollars less than his revised estimate.

We discovered on the weekend we had a leak in one of our pipes. We turned off the water in the pipe and called McHugh's Plumbing. Even though it was late in the day, Bob McHugh responded quickly to our phone call, and after making certain we didn't require or want emergency service, arranged to have the pipe repaired at the first opportunity. It's great to have a plumbing company with good professionals we can rely on.

Tom and Brian were very fast, neat and professional. They discussed the price of the service up-front. They were done with the work quickly. I will use them again! We had a coupon from this website, also.

worked for about 15 minutes, they said you are alright now, and then they left. They left and we didn't ask them to check. I started testing it and it seemed to work fine, but then it started to come back up in both sinks. i called them and they came back. They said 'they were very embarrasses' they worked on it for about an hour and then it was fixed. They put a 25 ft snake down the drain and got a bunch of the 'black gunk' out of there. I recommend this provider to everyone.

I had an horrible experience . I wrote them a check for a $1,000.00 and the work is still not complete. the work that he did not complete was my bathroom drain. The drain was blocked and he cut the pipe. When i asked him was he going to cap it he said no he did not have anything to fit it. The person that i spoke with was suppose to be the owner but he was very rude. I was told owner would contact me ..when he finally did he was really rude i told him that i could not pay another 1,00.00 and when i mentioned that i have not heard from the provider since.

After a little phone tag, Bob came out and gave us an estimate. His price was 1/3rd of one company's estimate, and 1/2 of another. The estimate was far more detailed than the other two estimates we got. I found that very helpful. Scheduling the work was easy. The office manager (Ginny) was pleasant and easy to work with. Jason arrived on time to do the work. He was friendly, professional and did an excellent job installing the toilet and vanity. He made me aware of a few minor changes he needed to make in order to install everything so the fit was perfect. Spur of the moment, I asked to have a leaking garage spigot replaced. Jason gave me a quote and then did the work. Overall, I found McHugh's plumbing excellent to work with. They charge a fair price, provide excellent quality of work and I'd recommend them to anyone.

We called them around 6:30 pm and left a message. Bob called back within a few minutes and indicated he would try to have someone come over the same night if possible. A crew freed up and they came out around 8:30 pm and scoped the sanitary sewer line in the basement. The clog was freed and Bob recommended we use Bio-Clean to keep our drains clean. We purchased the product and haven't had a problem since. We were so pleased with the company, we had them come back another day and snake the kitchen sink that was draining slow.

Great. We had a nightmare pipe situation that leaked horribly. Bob assessed and assigned Matt to the job, who did a detailed, professional job. The best part was their asking us to check in should anything not be right. Matt repaired areas that were repairable and replaced the ones that needed replaced...not an easy task if you saw this mess. The only reason for the "C" on punctuality was on plumbing emergencies beyond their control. Although they had to reschedule and came after the planned to, they called EVERY time and kept an open line of communication. We knew it was out of their control and would call them every time.

Matt performed the work. He diagnosed the kitchen plumbing and outdoor faucet issues quickly and worked with me to identify the best location to add the new outdoor faucet. He estimated the work for all 3 projects while here and explained the work involved in each. He patiently and professionally answered all my questions (and I had alot of them) regarding what was happening and why, the recommended solution and why, and "what if" we did this rather than that. In the end, I decided to fix the kitchen sink as it was the most urgent issue. Matt went to get parts he needed and the problem appears to be fixed - no gurgling. I am deliberating whether to address one or both of the outdoor faucet projects, but will definitely have Mc Hugh's handle the work once the decision is made.

Everything went perfect from the beginning to the end. The secretary took accurate messages, and we received a call back very quickly. The appointment was made to our convenience, and they came exactly when they said they would. The work was done professionally by a very congenial staff. When there was a question about the work, they came back and adjusted things without a further charge. By far the best plumbing company that we have ever dealt with.

I was very impressed with the quality of the services. The employees were prompt, polite, helpful and reassuring. They were relentless in tracking down the location of the actual problem and thoroughly cleaned up after they were finished. I would absolutely use them again and would (and will) recommend them to my friends. Great local company!!
