Bill and his team are amazing. We were referred to Bill Dysert through our builder (Payne & Payne). From the first time that we meet with Bill he has been truly amazing and their work proves that. From the installation of our yard and basic landscaping, to the design of our patio and extension of the back yard, they have done nothing but proved that they stand behind their work. Bill and John (Peterson) worked with us and our budget to give us exactly what we wanted in a design that would work with our family and our needs. We truly enjoy working with Exscape Designs and their team and will continue to use them for future work.

Excellent, from start to finish. The team was responsive when I first called to inquire about services. The landscape architect who came to the home for the initial site review was professional and thoughtful. The design turnaround was timely and accurate to our discussion. Excellent email communications throughout the project, including photos, and layouts, to confirm that the plans met our specifications and expectations. Crews arrived on the designated day for work. Thorough and full days of work performed. Made great progress. Were careful with their work and equipment. When they spotted a new issue that was not anticipated, they called and explained the issue, forwarded photos, and made a thoughtful and economical suggestion for working through the problem. The job ended on time and on budget. Excellent workmanship, and the yard and new look are getting rave reviews.

We have had the pleasure of working with Bill Dysert (owner), John, Brian, Bobby and many more folks from Exscape Design. They have been fantastic to work with. Very professional, punctual, clean, etc. Every time we have had work done (multiple projects) they have been nothing short of EXCELLENT! With any landscaper in NE Ohio you must have patience in the beginning of the season but if you are planful and meet with them early in the year, your project will occur within the time frame you have planned for. When they leave the job site you would not know they were there - they clean up and everything looks great! If you are not happy about something, Bill will address it immediately. We have never had something that wasn't resolved immediately. I highly recommend this company and will use them for our future landscaping/design needs.

I met with John from Exscape Designs late spring 2014. I wanted a design for custom cedar fence, gate and plantings on both sides of my house in the backyard and along the fence. He seemed to be a very qualified landscape architect and had some interesting observations and suggestions. He said he would provide a rough estimate in about a week. However weeks later I had heard nothing. I contacted John and he said he would work on it right away and get it to me in another week. Weeks came and went again without a word. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and certainly this estimate must be nearly done. I was not expecting a detailed design at this point, just a ballpark estimate, so left yet another message for him. Another week went by without even a courtesy call back, so I finally called the office and asked to speak to the owner. Bill contacted me within 24 hours and apologized and said this is not how they do business and this will be remedied immediately. He said they were extremely busy now as this was the height of the season but I explained to him I have been waiting for a over 6 weeks,long before their busy season. I also discussed doing some additional design work on my in-progress patio, but they indicated that as most of the design work was already completed, they were so behind they would not be able to do it at this time which I understood. I reminded him that I still wanted an estimate on the other work and that if they could get me an estimate and ensure it could be done by the fall I would be willing to wait. He said that would be perfect as they would not be busy in the fall. He thanked me for being so patient and indicated that John would get me that estimate so that the work could be done in the fall. Never heard from either the owner or John. Obviously a very disorganized place with little interest in customer service if the concept of reminders and return calls are so difficult. A perfect example of a contractor that can repeatedly make promises that they can't keep. I was more than patient and was prepared to have an job close to 5 figures, but I think unless u have a project in 6 figures, this company is not interested. Not to mention they wasted soooo much of my time and it was too late to get another contractor. I have kids and a full-time job...wish I could charge them for all of my inconvenience and time that they wasted!

They were good. This was the first time I'd used them and they were very responsive and they do good work. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.
